*Vol.4 Ch.254 Pampering Her Sister.
Rya was in her room, getting dressed up in a stunning, purple, off-the-shoulder ball gown dress that hugged her waist and showcased her curvy body. She also put on some matching purple high heels. She had three maids helping her put on her gown and style her long, white hair.
The maids were putting her hair up in an elegant bun that had a few strands of her white hair hanging down her forehead. They even gave her a light makeup touchup. The head maid, leading the other two Maids, was Gretchen, who normally was Rianna's personal maid, but she had made the journey to Tairal with the Prince's convoy five days ago without the Queen. So, she wanted to be useful and helped Rya in her stead.
Rya was resistant to having other people dress her up, but she knew it was her duty as a future queen. So she let the maids help her, and even allowed Gretchen to apply her makeup.
"Miss Anna... Do you see how adding a little pink lipstick to your lips makes her ladyship's whole face come together? And you don't need any foundation for her skin because it's flawless. Only a little powder is needed," Gretchen was instructing Anna on what colors matched best for Rya's tan skin tone.
Anna nodded and was a little nervous. She was to become Lady Rya's personal maid. But she was a bit uneasy about working for a Dark Elf. She heard the stories like all the rest, and now she was to be Lady Rya's new maid. She didn't want to anger her future Mistress.
Anna was a young human female, approximately 18 years old. She is short, thin, and has a youthful face. She had a cute smile and short brown hair. She had hazel eyes and was quite bubbly.
Rya felt out of place being dolled up by other people.
Miss Elise was finishing up Rya's hair and put a platinum tiara on. "Lady Rya, your hair is perfect. I've done a few princess hairstyles, and I've learned a great deal from Gretchen. Please have a look in the mirror and let us know what you think."
'Ugh... Here we go... I'm supposed to be impressed when I'm not.' Rya thought as she turned to the mirror. But when she saw her reflection in the mirror, her eyes widened at how beautiful she looked.
Her mouth opened up in shock at what she saw. Rya thought she only needed a few minor adjustments to her hair and makeup. However, the maids undertook a complete transformation of her appearance.
'Oh my God! This is actually really good. It looks like I could be a princess in this outfit and hairstyle... Maybe I should take some pointers so my golems can do this for me. It would be nice if I could do something with my own hair once in a while. And I might have a few extra outfits for when I get bored and change my appearance... Jesus Christ, I've changed... But fuck it... I'm a woman now and I'm fucking going to enjoy the finer things in life. I'm no longer that man... And I have a new body and a new life to enjoy. I'm going to embrace being a woman. I'm going to be the sexiest, gorgeous, and most beautiful Dark Elf Goddess this world has ever known. And everyone better watch out... Cause I'm going to make them fall in love with me. Just like Quinus is.' Rya was surprised at how her hair looked elegant and perfectly styled, making her feel empowered in a way she was not used to.
Gretchen saw her lady's shocked expression and was very happy with her job.
"Wow! It's hard to believe that's me," Rya said out loud.
"Alpha's is way too into these human dresses," Dalia whispered to Nieren.
Rya narrowed her eyes, taking a slow, measured glance at the Wolfkin and her sister, trying to gauge their mood in the dim light of the room.
Nieren stood out remarkably; she had traded her usual retainer's garb for a stunning elven outfit that clung elegantly to her figure. The robe was a rich emerald green, crafted from a luxurious silk that shimmered subtly with each movement. It featured a plunging neckline that tastefully revealed her décolletage, while delicate gold trimming accentuated the elegance of the design. Her hair cascaded freely around her shoulders, framing her face, which was refreshingly bare of makeup, allowing her natural beauty to shine through. The delicate pointed tips of her ears peeked out from her loose strands, a classic hallmark of elven grace. On her feet rested a pair of finely crafted leather shoes, intricately designed to match the ensemble, completing the look that radiated femininity and allure.
In stark contrast, the Wolfkin presented a commanding presence in her own striking attire. She wore a black A-line halter dress that hugged her curves and stopped just above her knees, exuding confidence. A silver choker adorned her neck, featuring a beautifully wrought wolf pendant that reflected her heritage. The dress, sleeveless and daringly cut, showcased the smooth contours of her shoulders and the alluring silhouette of her figure. Her long black hair was styled in a high ponytail, the strands glistening like obsidian under the light, while her piercing green eyes were accentuated with eye shadow that brought out their vibrant hue, giving her an otherworldly charm.
The Wolfkin's ensemble was elevated by silver bracelets that danced around her wrists, glinting as she moved, and a pair of three-inch black heels that added height to her stature. Her long, sleek tail, a striking feature of her race, swayed rhythmically from side to side, further accentuating her feline grace and adding an enchanting element to her overall appearance.
Together, the striking contrasts between Nieren's elven elegance and the Wolfkin's bold confidence created a captivating tableau that drew Rya's keen gaze.
"Oh really? It seems like you're enjoying yourself just as much as I am," Rya remarked playfully, a teasing smile tugging at her lips as she glanced at Dalia. The sparkle of jewelry around Dalia’s neck and wrists captured her attention, hinting at a deeper story. “And look at you, you're wearing jewelry without putting up a fight. It’s clear you don’t hate it.”
Dalia’s cheeks warmed under the scrutiny, and she quickly turned her head, her ears twitching slightly. “It’s only because my Gamma insisted on buying these things for me,” she stammered, attempting to sound indifferent. “Honestly, I’d much rather be... well, completely naked.” Her voice trailed off, betraying her inner conflict. The truth was, she found herself captivated by how good the outfit made her feel, just like her Alpha did. Yet, deep down, the pride of a Beastkin wouldn’t allow her to express that yearning outright.
Rya chuckled, a genuine warmth in her gaze. “Well, I think you look absolutely gorgeous in that outfit,” she said, her compliment genuine. Dalia felt her face heat up further, her heart racing as a soft blush spread across her cheeks. Despite her earlier protestation, the thrill of admiration from her friend was hard to ignore.
'M-Maybe Gamma could get me an even better outfit. Something that could show off more of my body... It wouldn't be because I wanted to show off, though. I would only want it for comfort and warmth,' Dalia thought to herself, and blushed harder. Deep down, she still had the heart of a wild spirit, yet she felt herself embracing the comforts of human life. The allure of their delicious food, cozy homes, and the freedom that women enjoyed in this world captivated her. Each day, she found herself more enchanted by the vibrant tapestry of human culture.
"Dalia..." Rya called out, and the Wolfkin perked up and glanced over.
"Y-yes, Alpha?"
"What do you think about Nieren's clothes?" Rya asked with a grin.
Nieren glared at the Wolfkin as she thought she was going to mock her.
Dalia examined the blonde Wood Elf and said, "I think heels would make Woody's presence bigger. Otherwise, she looks dangerously good."
Nieren was surprised and was wondering why Dalia wasn't mocking her. She wasn't expecting a compliment.
"Nieren doesn't need her height to stand out. But I can see what you mean," Rya said as she walked over to Nieren and looked her over.
"Huh?... But I don't like heels... I'm already tall enough," Nieren replied and glanced over at Rya.
"Yeah... I'm not talking about height, Nieren. I'm talking about how heels give your butt more shape. You would look amazing," Rya said.
Nieren blushed a bit, and then her face flushed as she looked at the mirror and turned sideways. She couldn't see it, but her butt was already impressive as is.
"But my butt is fine the way it is," Nieren commented.
"Haha... That's not what the guys will say when you are showing off those curves. I could make some adjustments and make a dress fit for a princess. Though you are already a princess, so maybe a Queen would suit you better," Rya teased her with a giggle.
Nieren thought of Quinus and felt her heart beating faster. She glanced down at the dress and was curious about it.
"Fine... Just something simple, okay," Nieren said and blushed.
"Great. Miss Elise, please get Miss Nieren fitted for a new dress. Maybe a couple more casual and one fancy," Rya said with a smile.
Elise nodded and went to her station, gathering some fabrics.
"And Miss Anna, can you grab some jewelry for Nieren? Make sure to get some matching shoes too," Rya ordered.
"Of course, Mistress Rya," Anna replied and headed towards the jewelry box.
Nieren was beginning to worry if she had made a mistake. But her curiosity got the better of her.
"Come on, Sister. Stand over here and we will start," Rya said and smiled.
Nieren gulped and went over, standing on the little pedestal. She had no idea that her life was about to change as Rya undid her cloth belt and removed her robe. Nieren reflectively tried to cover herself, but Rya held her hands in place.
"It's fine, Nieren. We are all girls here. Besides, it's not like I haven't seen everything before. Now just relax," Rya said calmly.
Gretchen meticulously began taking measurements, her measuring tape gliding smoothly across Nieren’s form as she recorded each figure with precision. Once that task was complete, she gestured for Anna to take over, encouraging her to measure Nieren's bust, waist, and hips. Nieren couldn't help but notice the way Anna's eyes widened slightly as she recorded the measurements, especially when it came to her hips. Feeling the heat rise in her cheeks, Nieren tried to shake off the self-consciousness creeping in.
"Alright, we're ready to dress you properly," Gretchen announced with a blend of authority and enthusiasm. "Miss Elise, please fetch that stunning red dress with the lace trim. I believe it will suit Lady Nieren beautifully."
Elise nodded, her own excitement palpable, as she hurried to retrieve the dress. The fabric was a rich, deep red, adorned with delicate lace trim along the V-neck that hinted at elegance yet maintained a sense of playfulness.
"W-Wait!" Nieren interjected, her voice tinged with apprehension. "Red isn't a flattering color on me. Could I try something else?" Her heart raced at the thought of being dressed in a color she felt unsure about.
"Nonsense, my dear," Gretchen replied confidently, a warm smile crossing her face. “The vibrancy of that red will highlight your natural beauty, complementing both your skin and your eyes.” She took hold of the dress, exuding determination as she prepared to transform Nieren's appearance.
With care, Elise held the dress up against Nieren, noting how the size was just right. As Gretchen expertly pulled the garment over Nieren's form, she tightened the strings at the back, drawing the fabric snugger around her. Nieren's chest felt the immediate pressure of the dress constricting; she instinctively took a deep, steadying breath, aware of the snugness enveloping her. The hem settled just below her knees, while the front dipped low enough to reveal a hint of cleavage, adding an air of elegance mixed with vulnerability.
"See? Red is absolutely perfect for you," Rya chimed in, her voice filled with encouragement as she admired Nieren's silhouette.
Nieren turned slightly, her back still facing the mirror, unable to see the transformation Gretchen and Elise had crafted. There was a swirl of emotions within her—excitement tinged with a lingering doubt, as she awaited the moment she could fully embrace the reflection staring back at her.
"Now the stockings and shoes..." Anna commented and showed her a pair of red heels.
"That will work. But how am I supposed to walk in those?" Nieren wondered.
"Practice," Rya teased.
Nieren was worried and didn't know what she was getting herself into. But she decided to see this through to the end as the maids pulled up the stockings. The material felt weird to her. The only other clothes she ever had were her retainer's and adventurer's garbs. She didn't wear many dresses when her kingdom was destroyed and her family had to flee.
These tight clothes were making her uncomfortable for no reason, and she could feel the material rubbing her. She began feeling hot and itchy in odd places.
"Mistress, are you alright?" Anna asked concernedly.
"Hmm?... Oh, yes. I'm fine," Nieren said quickly.
She felt embarrassed as her nipples became erect as the high-quality materials rubbed against her. She could feel her body reacting.
'No... Not now... I can't let them see this. This is embarrassing. Why do I feel so hot all of a sudden?... Is this some kind of magic spell or a curse?' Nieren thought to herself.
Anna gently guided Nieren into the elegant heels, their delicate structure almost betraying the young Wood Elf’s unsteady feet. As Nieren struggled to find her balance, she stumbled, her heart racing as she nearly tipped over. "Easy there," Anna said soothingly, her voice a blend of encouragement and warmth. "Don’t worry; it may feel awkward now, but you’ll get used to them. Let’s make our way to the vanity table and sit down."
The three maids stood by, their eyes alight with curiosity and anticipation as they watched Nieren navigate her precarious journey. With each tentative step, she concentrated, finally arriving at the ornate vanity chair. The cushioned seat embraced her as she settled in, the intricate carvings on the armrests catching the light and glinting softly.
Gretchen approached, her skilled hands moving with the precision of someone who had performed this ritual many times before. She began to deftly gather Nieren’s long, silken locks and brush through them, the gentle strokes soothing and reassuring. Nieren couldn’t help but steal glances at the three maids, feeling a blend of uncertainty and hope. 'Are these ladies really going to help me?' she mused, caught in the moment between anxiety and the thrill of transformation.
"Now, let’s add a touch of red to her lips; it’s the perfect finishing touch," Anna instructed, her tone confident and decisive. Elise nodded, quickly retrieving a small jar of lipstick that shimmered in the soft light, its vibrant red hue promising a touch of glamour. As Nieren’s heart skipped a beat, she felt a rush of excitement mixed with apprehension as Anna gently pulled down her bottom lip. The cool, smooth glide of the lipstick felt foreign yet intriguing, stirring something within her as it made contact with her skin.
Gretchen carefully gathered Nieren's long, silky hair, deftly pulling it up and securing it into a neat bun at the crown of her head. The gentle tug and the soft clinks of the hairpins filled the air, creating a calming rhythm in the room. Meanwhile, Anna stood beside her, focusing intently on the delicate artistry of makeup. She brushed a vibrant red hue onto Nieren's cheeks, transforming her pale skin into a canvas of warmth and life.
"You know, Nieren," Rya chimed in playfully, her tone light and teasing, "you have such a cute face. You really should smile more often."
With a slight frown, Nieren muttered, "I don't like smiling."
Taken aback, Rya raised an eyebrow, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "Hmm? Why's that?"
Nieren's response was barely audible and dripped with a hint of defiance. "Smiling is for the weak."
Rya couldn’t help but giggle, shaking her head with amusement. "Jeez… You know I’m just joking, right? You don’t have to take it so seriously."
Dalia, always ready to join in on the banter, leaned in with a smirk. "Oh? I think Woody likes being embarrassed," she teased, her words playfully nudging at Nieren's discomfort.
Flushing slightly, Nieren shot back, her voice rising defensively. "Y-you were the one who hated being dressed, you stupid dog! I-I’m not enjoying this! It’s not what you think!" Her cheeks turned a deeper shade, a mix of embarrassment and irritation shining through.
"Then why is your face so red?" Dalia asked, a teasing lilt in her tone, clearly reveling in Nieren's unease.
"T-That's the makeup they're layering on me! And besides, I’m not really accustomed to human clothes," Nieren stammered, trying to regain some composure while waving a hand dismissively at her own blushing cheeks.
“Regardless of blushing or not, Dalia, the key thing here is that we look respectable in front of Quin’s father. We’ve got to dress to impress, right?” Rya chimed in, her tone firm yet encouraging as she adjusted her own attire.
"Well, that’s hardly a challenge, Lady Rya. You three are practically stunning even without all this makeup and elaborate clothing," Gretchen interjected, admiration evident in her voice as she regarded the trio of demi-humans.
"Awww, that’s so kind of you!” Rya responded, her face lighting up at the compliment.
“Really!? I mean... Of course we are! I always knew I liked this human for a reason!" Dalia added with a bright grin, clearly enjoying the flattery.
“Th-thank you,” Nieren mumbled, uncertainty creeping in as she pondered whether the maid’s words were genuine or merely polite.
“You’re welcome!” Gretchen replied warmly as she carefully placed the final touches—elegant ruby-encrusted hair clips—into Nieren’s hair, the gems sparkling against the soft strands and adding a touch of regal sheen to her appearance.
Nieren just sat there, letting them put whatever they wanted onto her while Anna and Elise ensured Nieren's makeup was perfect.
Rya was stunned by how gorgeous Nieren looked. Her adopted older sister was always beautiful, thanks to her Elven genes. But seeing her in a dress and with makeup made her look stunning.
'Damn... If I were still a guy, I would be so turned on right now... Haah... I do miss my old body sometimes...' Rya thought as she looked at a big stand-up mirror to the left of her and saw her reflection wearing her stunning purple dress, her choker necklace with the glowing orb in the center, and her tiara of the Meredydd family crest. She looked like a princess, and she felt like a princess in this new body.
Rya couldn't help but smile at her reflection. 'Yeah, never mind... This is the new me... The true me.' the Dark Elf smiled a bit wider. 'I am a fucking Goddess... And I wonder how long it will take to get Quin all hot and bothered tonight... God damn. Just thinking about it makes me wet,' Rya's mind wandered a bit. She imagined taking advantage of Quin for fun, but she knew he would be the one to turn the tables on her if she teased him too much today.
'Fuck... I can't wait to see what that man can do... Gah!... Get your head out of the gutter, Rya... I need to greet Quin's dad and prepare for the ritual... I know Alaric is planning on using an Ether Crystal. But how is it supposed to light up the Idol?... I wish I could look through my golem's eyes to see how the idol works. I guess I'll have to see it in person. Hopefully, it isn't like those stupid blood contracts where my eyes can't see the magical properties work,' Rya thought.
Over the past few days, Rya had dispatched her Golems to secretly observe Alaric, Duval, and Hilda. She even sent one to the Temple of Balance to investigate Iyomelka's idol, a mission driven by her curiosity and desire for more insight into the ritual that was to take place in a few days. It was during this time that Rya decided to inhabit the body of one of her Golems, hoping to gain a firsthand understanding of the temple's inner workings.
However, as she navigated through the temple with her Golem's perspective, she was confronted with an unexpected and unsettling limitation. Rya had always possessed the remarkable ability to comprehend all languages instinctively, and her sharp eyes were capable of perceiving the ethereal particles of magic that radiated from various artifacts. Yet, through the eyes of her Golem, she found herself utterly unable to read the text of the ancient book she had been studying or discern the distinct mana signatures that surrounded the magical artifacts. This realization troubled her deeply.
Determined to verify this anomaly, she summoned another Golem and made her way to the library, selecting a well-worn tome filled with complex scripts. As Rya read the text effortlessly in her own body, the words flowed with clarity and meaning. However, when she shifted her consciousness into the new Golem and attempted to read the same passage, the letters danced mockingly before her, a foreign jumble devoid of sense. Even the vibrant mana particles she was so adept at detecting faded into obscurity, as if a veil had been drawn over her vision.
Frustration gnawed at her. It was as if there was an invisible filter limiting her Golems from accessing the full spectrum of her abilities. She pondered whether this limitation stemmed from the nature of the Golem's body itself or if it was tied to a unique passive ability or enchantment exclusive to her real form. 'If I can pinpoint what this is, perhaps I could replicate it later,' she mused, her mind racing with possibilities.
She was acutely aware that her listening skills—or rather, her universal translator ability—remained intact, allowing her to understand spoken language perfectly through her Golems. Still, the lack of insight into the magical properties around her was disheartening. 'I wish I could grasp these abilities better,’ she thought, striving for patience amidst her growing frustration.
As she contemplated her next steps, a sharp, familiar voice broke through her thoughts: Nieren was lamenting once again about her dress and was trying to talk her way out of it. Rya would have to look into this at a later time.
"I-I feel so out of place," Nieren said nervously.
"Don't worry, Nieren. Just think of it as a quest from the Adventurer's Guild... You are my secret retainer. There to protect me from any danger," Rya smirked a little.
"I-I don't know, Rya... I'm better with my bow and dagger by my side... Wearing stuff like this is... Well, it's unsuitable for protecting you... W-What if I trip on the skirt? And the heels are—"
"Nieren!... Come here," Rya interrupted her before pulling her to her feet, "Do you think that so heels and a dress can prevent you from being the strongest warrior you can be?"
"N-No, I—"
"Exactly. Now, straighten up. Stand tall, and be proud of who you are. I need you by my side for the ritual... Plus, you're literally a princess... I wasn't born into royalty. My parents would be considered commoners, whereas you are the daughter of an Elven Princess," Rya explained.
"B-But, Rya! You're—"
"Look in the mirror and tell me what you see," Rya commanded, causing Nieren to look at the full-length mirror in the dressing room.
Nieren hesitated for a moment before she saw her reflection in the mirror. She almost did a double-take when she saw herself in a human dress. Nieren stood up a bit taller, feeling the magic flowing through the enchanted dress as her hourglass shape became more prominent. And the red dress made her green eyes and long blonde hair stand out even more. The wood elf felt the confidence growing inside her and stood a little taller as she looked into the mirror.
"I-I guess you're right, Sis... But if Mom asks why I'm wearing a human dress. I'll be sure to blame you," Nieren smiled as she started to relax.
"Go ahead... I'm fine with taking the blame... As long as I can—"
*Knock! Knock!*
All six ladies looked over towards the door.
Miss Anna walked over and opened the door to see Quinus, Percy, and Sir George standing there.
"The ceremony is about to start in... Wow... Lady Nieren? I didn't know that you liked to dress up like this?" Quinus asked as he took in her new appearance.
Nieren blushed like mad and turned away from him. Her heart was racing, and she fought to hide her smile.
"It's all Rya's fault!"
Quinus smirked and looked at his fiancée, "And you look as beautiful as ever... Are you torturing your sister?... She might disown you if you're not careful."
"Well, it's not my fault that Nieren looks great in a dress. It would be a crime not to show off her beautiful features," Rya giggled.
Quinus glanced over to the embarrassed Wood Elf, who peeked at him before looking away.
'Goddess be damned... Elven women are unfairly beautiful. Crap!... I'm staring at her ass. Get your head out of the clouds, Quin!'
Quinus' gaze shifted back on Rya, the warm glow of the evening light illuminating her features. He approached her with a gentle smile, taking her hand in his and pressing a tender kiss on her palm. "It's almost time, Love," he said, his voice low and reassuring.
Rya grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yeah, yeah… Just let me grab my purse, and we can head out." The anticipation of their plans made her a little giddy.
However, Rya's attention shifted to her sister, Nieren, who was standing a few steps away. She could sense that something was off. "You okay, sis?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.
Nieren's heart raced, a flush creeping across her cheeks as she fidgeted with the hem of her shirt. "Y-Yes… I'm good,” she stammered, but the nervousness in her voice betrayed her calm facade. “I’m just... thinking about how to explain this to Mom.” The weight of that conversation hung heavily on her mind, and she could feel the pressure tightening in her chest.
Rya stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on her sister's shoulder. "There you go, overthinking things again," she teased gently, a smile warming her face. "You'll be fine. Just be honest, and everything will work out." With that, Rya turned back to grab her purse from the counter, the leather bag just as vibrant as her spirit.
Sir George sighed and followed after the Prince. Percy was staring at his girlfriend in awe. She looked like a warrior goddess, and Percy didn't want to take his eyes off of her. Dalia wagged her tail when she locked eyes with her mate.
"Ahem..." Miss Anna cleared her throat and stared at the young couple.
"R-Right... We should head to the foyer," Percy stuttered while holding out his hand.
The Wolfkin smiled and started walking towards Percy, but she got a whiff of Nieren's mating scent again. She looked sly at the embarrassed Wood Elf, who was lost in thought. And she was about to tease her, but stopped herself and shook her head.
'No... I don't want to ruin my outfit. Besides, I'll be able to tease her later, and then she can chase me... For now, I should follow my mate and watch Alpha's back.' Dalia thought as she took Percy's hand.
The ranger's face reddened, and his heart skipped a beat. He squeezed her hand and led her down the hall.
Nieren and the three maids were the only ones left, and the maids were confused by the Wood Elf's odd behavior.
Anna finally asked, "Umm... Lady Nieren, are you feeling alright?"
Nieren's ears twitched, and her face went pale. She looked at the three maids, and her face was flushed red again.
"W-What?... Don't you know it's rude to stare?"
Gretchen shook her head while Elise started cleaning up the room, and Anna blinked a few times and then covered her mouth as she began to giggle, "Hahahaha. My apologies, my Lady... I was just wondering what happened to you... Don't you know that everyone has left?"
Nieren practically had question marks hovering over her head as she looked around and saw they were alone.
"A-AH! THEY LEFT ME BEHIND!" Nieren exclaimed as she ran out the door.
The three maids couldn't help themselves and started laughing as Nieren ran down the hall.
"Who knew that Elves were so odd?... I thought they were the emotionless types who looked down on the other races. That one's a real hoot," Elise laughed.
"You talking about the High Elves, Miss Elise... Princess Rya acts normal, but Princess Yuliana and her daughter are a bit... Well... Carefree, to say the least," Gretchen sighed.
"Hmmm... Well, they are Wood Elves... Maybe that's what makes them different from their High Elf cousins?" Anna said while smiling.
"Who knows... But I don't mind a bit of airheadedness. It's better than being a jerk," Gretchen replied.
Elise and Anna nodded in agreement as they cleaned the room.
What do you think?
