Chapter 502: Chapter 503: The War That Decides the Future Trend
The Storm Sea Domain billowed with tempestuous waves.
From Green City to the Storm Sea Domain, the distance was so vast that Lide couldn’t even begin to estimate it; all he knew was that Castro had flown for a full day and night before finally arriving at this perpetually storm-enshrouded sea domain.
For Lide, this was the first time he had laid eyes on such a renowned Advanced map.
Unlike the inaptly named Lost Sea, the Storm Sea Domain was truly as its name suggested—the moment they entered the ocean, they were enveloped by hurricanes.
At this moment, on the sea’s surface, the storm churned up layer upon layer of waves, and it seemed as if the entire sky were being torn apart by the terrifying hurricane.
Such a terrifying scene was akin to an apocalyptic disaster.
Even the rifts in the sky looked as though they were created by the storm.
Amidst the towering waves, Castro spread its wings wide, its sharp Blade Wings slicing through the waves, uncompromising and fearless.
This actually added a semblance of life to the image of doomsday.
“Lord Ilo, after you’ve obtained the Destiny Tablet fragment, would you be able to allow Lady Isa to inherit the power passed down by the ancestors of the Silver Moon Clan?”
The Silver Moon King, who had by now regained his breath, asked cautiously.
“You can rest assured; the power inherited by the Silver Moon Clan for tens of thousands of years is very pure, it will not cause Lady Isa any harm. Without Lady Isa’s protection, the Silver Moon Clan will not survive much longer…”
Hearing this, Lide raised his eyebrows and looked down at Isa, who was looking up at him hopefully.
“I need to confirm that the inheritance you speak of is safe. If it is, then dealing with that Long-tailed Demon won’t be much of a problem.”
Isa’s face instantly lit up with a smile.
The Silver Moon King also heaved a great sigh of relief, saying excitedly,
“Thank you for your kindness.”
To him, nothing else mattered; the Silver Moon Clan was the foundation, without which everything else was an illusion.
After receiving Lide’s promise, the Silver Moon King dared not say anymore and obediently stayed within the Magic Shield.
The rest of the journey proceeded without conversation.
Traveling forward amidst the storm was filled with danger; the colossal waves that hurled tons of seawater at Castro’s back could cause significant turbulence, appearing especially terrifying.
Several times they even required Frey’s personal intervention to get through the crisis; otherwise, they truly might have been swept into the sea by the hurricane and massive waves.
Lide didn’t know how the Silver Moon King managed to calculate their position within the storm. After entering the Storm Sea Domain, they flew for another five or six Sunshine Hours before the king had Castro slow down.
What do you think?
