I AM GOING TO STAND ABOVE ALL BEINGS

In the medical room, Ruth and the Tower Master Jay were standing next to the bed in which Chris was sleeping while looking at him with worried eyes.
"Tower master Jay what happened to my son? And what happened to his right eye?" Ruth asked.
After thinking about what to say for some time, The Tower Master Jay explained, "Mrs Ruth Silverblade, I am sorry to inform you that Chris has awakened a talent to devour anything or everything in his right eye. And it seems that his body couldn't control its power as this talent requires a very strong body. This is the first time in the history of human beings that someone has awakened this talent. You should also know that the other species that Awaken this talent are born with a cultivation of the void realm so that they can use this talent. But here Chris's body parameters and cultivation are way too low to control and use this talent. So the talent was out of control and this happened."
Hearing this, Ruth thought for some time and asked, "Does this mean that if we left Chris as it is now, will this talent harm Chris and others around him?"

" As far as I know about this talent, I don't know for sure but I think that it would be harmful for Chris if we leave this talent as it is." The Tower Master Jay answered truthfully.

"I don't want my son to lose control of this talent and harm himself or others and have a trauma about it. So what's the best solution for this?" Ruth asked.

"Well to be honest I don't know how to make Chris control this talent at his current cultivation realm. But I do have few suggestions which might help Chris. First method is to use devil stone to destroy his talent and cultivation and wait for another 3 years to try awakening talent again but I have to remind you that after destroying his talent and cultivation the chances of getting awakening talent is lower than 15%. Second method is to find a king realm  Grandmaster runesmith to seal his Devourer talent with Power of runes. First method is about risky and second method is about difficulties to find void realm Grandmaster runesmith. I can help you get devil stone but I can't contact any Grandmaster Runesmith. I can't think of any other methods at the moment. Mrs Ruth Silverblade have to decide which method to choose between the two." Said the Tower Master Jay.

Ruth was stunned upon hearing all this. She didn't want to risk her son's future by destroying his talent and cultivation. As for finding the Grandmaster Runesmith, she can find it immediately but she didn't want to bow her head to that person as without his permission no one in Runesmith association will help her. She was in dilemma of what to choose between the two methods. 

After contemplating for some time, Ruth took out her phone and dialled a number. After few rings the call was connected and other side said quickly "Ruth my dear, How is the awakening process of our son? Sorry I couldn't be there today. But I will definitely come tomorrow morning at the latest. Please don't be angry!"

Hearing Mathew's voice Ruth eyes filled with tears and trying to suppress her crying voice, She said "Mathew! Mathew, there is a problem with Chris talent awakening. I don't know what to do." And explained all the things and started crying as she couldn't hold her pent up emotions anymore.

"Ruth, don't worry I will there in an hour. Please don't cry. We will find the solution together. Till I get there you have to hold on as what would happen if Chris wakes up and see you crying. You have to be strong." Hearing Ruth's suppress crying voice, Mathew tensed up and tried to calm her down.

After calming Ruth, Mathew hurried to his  Superiors' Office and explain the situation. He applied for immediate leave and permission for the use of instant teleportation portal. His superiors after hearing his reason and looking at his previous merits in army, quickly approved his application for leave and use of instant teleportation portal. 

Mathew quickly left the office and headed to the teleportation center. After entering the teleportation center, he handed over the approved application to the person in-charge and told him the cordinates for the instant teleportation. After checking the application, the person in-charge took Mathew to the teleportation circle and started operating the computer to enter the cordinates for the teleportation. Few minutes later the teleportation circle started shining and Mathew, who was standing on it vanished from there and later appeared right outside the awakening center where Ruth and Chris were.

Mathew took few seconds to adjusted his mind after the teleportation. Then he quickly contacted Ruth and asked about their location. After learning their location he quickly got their location and opened the door of medical room.

Hearing the sound of door opening, Ruth looked towards the door and seeing Mathew there she quickly ran towards Mathew and threw herself in his arms and started crying.

Seeing this Mathew tried to calm Ruth down by saying "Ruth, don't cry. Now that I am here, we will definitely find out the solution for this problem together. I will definitely not let anything harm our son even if it means to against the whole universe."

After few minutes Ruth's mood calmed down, she explained the situation and methods suggested by Tower Master Jay to Mathew again. 

After listening to Ruth's explanation, Mathew frown and started to think about the solution for few minutes.

As if he made a decision, Mathew took out his phone and dialled a number. 

At first the call was hung just after a single ring but Mathew didn't lose hope and kept on dailling the number. After more than 30 call, the person on the other end finally picked up the call but as soon as the call was connected, the other person shouted "Mathew Silverblade!! I am very busy right now and don't you know that you are the person I hate the most in the world? Why are you harrassing me by calling me so many times continuously? Are you so free?"

Hearing the voice of the person in the phone, Ruth's eye redden and was about to say something but Mathew stopped her and said instead "Father-in-law, I am sorry for calling so many times but situation here is urgent and I need your Runesmith association's help. No one will help me until you lift the ban on me and Ruth. So I have to call you so many times. I can do anything if you.."

Mathew was interrupted before he could finish.

"OH! So the mighty Mathew Silverblade also has a time when he need the help from our little Runesmith Association? But Mr. Mathew Silverblade seems to forgot that it was you who announced that you will never need the help of the Runesmith Association in your life. So I can't lift the ban on you and your wife. And I, Johnathan Crest, don't have any daughter and much less an son-in-law. So please don't harass me by calling again." Said Johnathan Crest.

As Johnathan was about to hung up the call, Ruth couldn't hold any and snatched the phone from Mathew and said while crying " Father, please don't hung up the call. It was me who was wrong that time and I will to kneel down and apologise to you and all the family members. But please just help us time. If you don't help us I don't know who to look for. Father please. Please father."

Hearing Ruth's crying voice, Johnathan's hand which were holding the phone couldn't help but tremble but when he remembered that it was this daughter which he pampered and loved most is the one who made him lose his face in the Association and whole human galaxy with that Mathew, he steeled his heart and said "I have already announced that I don't have any daughter. My daughter died when decided to be that man. Please don't call again."
