His gaze was strange, and she felt a bit uncomfortable being near him. She couldn't help but think there was something wrong with him.

"It is already dark. My friends are already tired, so we are going to rest for now. You can come back in the morning." Miss Shizuka smiled at him politely.

"Sorry, miss, but I have to do as I was told by my superiors. I have to make sure you don't do anything funny here. You know, I am going to teach you everything you need to know, like the rules and regulations of our basecamp."

He paused for a moment, "So, please, come with me." He finished with a fake smile.
