After that, we got into the tent where Saya immediately sat on her sleeping bag and complained about how tired she was.

"Aah! It's so exhausting. I am tired of sitting in a car!"

"Me too," Miss Shizuka said with a smile, curling into her sleeping bag and resting her head on the rough fabric. "I'm beat... It's not comfortable but I want to sleep here all day..."

"It's fine, Miss Shizuka." I chuckled lightly.

Then Saya asked me, "So, what happened after that?"

"They said they will try to contact the main base. It will probably take a while to reach there, and it depends on how busy the headquarters is." I explained, "We might get called up later if the base needs something, but I will handle it."

Saeko seemed like she wanted to say something. She stared at me intently before finally opening her mouth. "...Are they going to help us? Will they provide us a transport to Chicago?"

"I asked for that and the Major General said it would be difficult. They're having a problem there too, so I guess it will be hard for them to spare the fuel. At least we can rest here for now. I will think of something later, but for now, we need to wait."

The negotiation earlier ended pretty well. I had the chip they needed and we could get a place to stay in return while waiting for a transport helicopter.

Unlike us, they surely had a way to connect with the army located in Chicago, which would speed up the process.

One thing I worried about was Racoon City's outbreak. If the problem mentioned earlier was the same as in the game, the military wouldn't be able to contact that place in the next 2 or 3 days.

However, that wouldn't be the end of the world, as it was possible to stop it if the military were fast enough to take action. I would be glad to help them in that case.

I really didn't want a T-Virus infected Tyrant or Nemesis running amok in this world. One Tyrant was enough.

By chance, if I were to find any Nemesis, I would definitely buy an RPG without thinking twice. I checked the Shop in my spare time and found it.

For a weapon that could blast a tank to pieces and was used by the Russian Army, the cost wasn't so expensive. I could get it from the military, yes. But if the situation was indeed dire and Nemesis suddenly appeared in front of me without warning, this would be better.

Was I stupid considering this while I wanted to save points for serum? No, I don't think so.

Because if I hesitate even a little while I was in a pinch, I could end up dead or even lose someone dear to me.

But would I buy this to save people I don't know? No, I wouldn't do that. I might provide support if possible, but running away was also an option. My priority was to survive, first.

And so we spent the rest of our evening in that camp. I took turns keeping watch with Saeko while Miss Shizuka, and Saya slept peacefully inside their sleeping bags. 

At night, the military made a campfire in the middle of their base. Many men and women dressed in green uniforms sat on the logs around the campfire.

They laughed, telling stories about themselves and sharing memories from their previous life before the outbreak happened. It made me wonder about how they ended up in such a situation, and what they would do after it all ended.

"Sis, I will join them to get some information. You should join too. It's better to make a connection than to isolate ourselves."

"Alright." She answered with a smile and we went there.

As we arrived at the circle of soldiers, they noticed us immediately. A red-haired woman approached me and offered me a log to sit on, saying "Hey there! Welcome!"

The woman wore a camouflage jacket with matching cargo pants. She was tall and athletic-looking. Her short hair gave off a wild look that complimented her beautiful features well. The nametag on her breast pocket said, 'Jones.'

"Hello, thank you." I smiled and took the offered log to sit.

She then pointed to the woman sitting across from me and introduced her. "I guess an introduction is necessary. I am Tania and this is Lucy, my partner in crime."

"Hey there."

Lucy was a blonde in her late twenties. Her face had freckles, but she looked attractive nonetheless. She smiled kindly and greeted me with a wave. "Hi, I'm Lucy. Nice to meet ya."

I smiled back and replied, "Hello. Nice to meet you too. My name is Daiki and this is Saeko, my sister." I pointed to Saeko who was sitting beside me.

She nodded at them with a small bow.

They were sitting together while drinking beer from cans or smoking cigarettes. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. They seemed to enjoy themselves despite being in this dangerous world.

The smell of roasted meat wafted through the air. I looked around, and saw a pot full of soup with floating meat chunks.

It smelled so delicious.

"Want some? We hunted a deer earlier today. There is nothing to do in the military camp. It's boring here and some of the guys went out hunting for some entertainment." Lucy explained. She then pointed at a soldier sitting beside Tania, "That's Mark, our cook."

"Hello there, brother. I heard you gave that bastard Harjun a nice jab in the face. Hahaha! That was hilarious! He's always bragging about being a badass, but in reality he's just an asshole!" He laughed heartily.

I shrugged my shoulders, "He started it."

"That he did. He's a horny fucker that keeps flirting with any girl that isn't in a relationship." He said, "He even tried to hit on my girlfriend!"

Mark, the guy in his thirties who had been talking nonstop since he was introduced, pausing only when he drank beer.

"So, do you have any story to tell? I heard you were Japanese and you contacted us with satellite communication! Is that true?"

"Yes. We came to Alaska because we found an Umbrella secret lab in Japan. The place is crawling with zombies and the virus spreads from there. We decided to go to America to ask for a safe place to stay."

"Wow." Lucy said, looking impressed by my words. "That must be tough. It's been almost a month, take a few days because I don't remember, since the outbreak. So, what happened after that?"

"We traveled by boat. Then, the first town we stopped by was in Russia, there..."

I began to tell the story of how I got here, including my experience in the underground lab. Of course I skipped the sex scene and other things that might cause trouble, like killing that scientist in the underground lab.

"Wow! You guys really went through hell! And you met the Tyrant!? I heard they were Bio Weapon, never encountered it myself, but the base warned us about them." Tania asked incredulously, her eyes widening in surprise and awe.

"Yeah, I almost got my face ripped off. My sister killed it by driving her sword into his heart." I exaggerated a little bit to make it sound cooler than it actually was.

"It's not that, brother. We killed it together." Saeko interjected politely, smiling shyly. Then she turned to the three sitting in the same log as us, "Do you have any interesting stories too?"

"Oh! Yeah, lots of them!" Mark exclaimed enthusiastically. "Let me tell ya a few!"

Mark proceeded to tell us some stories about his adventures as a soldier during wartime. He even showed me pictures from his phone where he posed next to dead terrorists.

It was a gruesome sight. The corpses looked mangled beyond recognition, but Mark just laughed at them and boasted proudly that they got what they deserved.

Tania and Lucy seemed to be bored and drank from their beer. Sometimes, they teased me a little. Meanwhile, Saeko and I listened to Mark with a smile plastered on our faces. We didn't really know what to do in this situation.

Night soon turned late and it was time to return to bed.

Saeko retreated ahead of me while I stayed to talk more about the military stuff.

I was also tired and was about to go back when the redhead Tania suddenly grabbed my hand and whispered at me.

"Boy, do you need to have more fun after this? Being surrounded by beauties yet can't touch them because your sister is there is hard, no? I can help you with releasing it a bit."

With a sensual hand movement, she traced her finger across my palm slowly. Her seductive gaze seemed to try to hypnotize me, and her chest pushed out towards my body as if inviting me to grab it. It felt weirdly erotic for some reason.

Her offer made my mind go wild. Should I? I could, I mean. Saeko and the others were sleeping. We would probably just go for one or two rounds and it wouldn't last more than 30 minutes, maybe.

Having been misunderstood like this was rare. She thought I never had action and was a virgin boy trying to be cool, didn't she?

Oh well, I didn't have to correct her. Instead, I looked her in the eye with a smile and let her pull me to the shadow of the tent where darkness enveloped our surroundings, hiding us from the view of anyone passing by.

She pushed me against the wooden fence and suddenly attacked my lips.
