Chapter 1247  Critical!

Chapter 1247  Critical!

"Are you alright young miss?" Amanda handed Ellie a glass of water which she took with shaking hands.

It was hard to imagine looking at Ellie's muscular physique that she was scared of wolves to this extent. If it was any other scenario, she would have become their food by now!

"I..thank you."

"You shouldn't get scared by such things. I know it's unusual but there are many things that will surprise you in the future so you have to be prepared."

"Why? Why aren't you scared of them?" She finally managed to ask disregarding whatever Amanda told her.

"It's because of young master. Animals are quite fond of him and will even listen to him. There are also horses and a baby deer living in the estate which will often come here to look for him." Amanda mentioned it like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Taming wolves? Aren't these things stuff for wildlife documentaries? Ever since she came in contact with Samuel, she began to feel like these people were the most strangest she ever met.

"Just don't try to touch them or go near them. If they want you to pet them, they will come to you."

"No,no, how dare I pet them?" Ellie was scared even thinking about it.

"It quite alright when young master is around. They behave more docile in his presence. You don't need to be so scared." Seeing Amanda eyeing her muscles, she could only smile bitterly.

It was clear that she was strong but that's in the field. Petting wolves was on a whole another level! The reason why she was so scared was because of her late mother. She used to tell horror stories about wolves who lived in Britain in the past. She came from a lineage of farmers so these stories persistent even in normal times.

Meanwhile Samuel was rushing toward the place where the wolves went. He could feel two of them were seriously injured with a rapidly depleting life force.

When the wolves heard rustling around them, they stood up thinking it was another intruder but seeing Luna and Samuel they relaxed.

Samuel saw two wolves laying on their side breathing heavily, there was a small poll of blood forming around them.

"They have lost a lot of blood!" He first went to treat Knight, he was barely breathing. After examining his body, he found the bullet it just missed his heart but there was a lot of internal damage.

He didn't wait and simply moved some supplies from the medical kit while giving him life force energy to keep him alive. He couldn't fully heal him, the bullet would also get stuck inside when the wound closes so he has to be delicate with his powers.

Luna and others watched from the side as he began his treatment. His hands were like blure of motion while he operated on Knight.

The bullet was buried deep inside his body and he never did surgery on animals before but the Source was guiding him filling him with knowledge as he went aling with the procedure.

After five minutes he was able to dig the bullet out and began to surge magic power in his body to heal Knight. It was still a question whether Knight will survive as the blood loss was something he didn't know if he could replenish.

The wound close at speed visible to the naked eye. His breathing also stabilized giving him some sense of hope. He didn't wait but began treating Sage next.

The bullet hit her hind leg, she was in a better condition than Knight but because it came in contact with her bone it broke into many pieces. It took him half an hour to remive all the foreign particles before healing her with life force.

He moved on to others, some were grazed by bullet while others had some cut around their head. They were very docile throughout the whole process probably because, Luna was watching them like a hawk.

What he didn't expect that it took him half of his magic reserve to heal them. His reserves have expanded many times over the years so it was hard for him to deplete it even if he tried but it seemed like healing really takes it's toll on his body.

He remembered when he treated Iblis's mother Olivia, he fainted directly. That was many years ago but it was a dangerous procedure as once the magic runs out, channeling life force would envoke one's own vitality.

By the time he was done, Knight also woke up but he wasn't able to stand up. It would at least take him a week to replenish his blood but Sage moving without any issue.

"Just stay here for now and look after him. If you can find something to hunt then bring him some food if not, I will ask someone to bring some meat each morning." He said to Luna. Through their connection, he knew she understood.

It would be a problem if they kept running back to his house especially when his uncle and his team were in the vicinity.

"And don't try to be brave next time. If you see any intruders, you can call some and retreat. You might be stronger but you can't fight people with weapons." This time he knew Luna only understood half of it but after the fight they must have known how dangerous it was to fight humans.

Maybe next time when they hear a gunshot, they will run away. He patted Luna and others before walking back to the scene.

He still didn't know who broke into the Estate but being brazen would not serve them well in the future.

Seeing him come out, Daniel approached him.

"They are fine. But ask everyone to avoid them and send some food to them since one of them couldn't move because of injury."

"Alright."

"So, do we know who did this?"

"Yes."
