Sirius's head was still spinning. Hoare's punch hadn't held back, using almost eighty percent of his strength.
Although Sirius hadn't clearly heard Hoare's question, his intuition told him that nodding was the best response.
And that's exactly what he did.
Hoare watched as Sirius slowly nodded twice with unfocused eyes.
"That's good," he thought, feeling quite satisfied.
If he'd been this sensible earlier, he wouldn't have gotten punched.
Hoare turned and said to Snape, "Headmaster, I have something I need you to deliver to the Headmaster."
