Chapter 113
The conversation seemed satisfactory to both parties.
Just kidding!
Hoare was almost kicked out by Grindelwald.
Hearing the latter part, Grindelwald interrupted Hoare with a cold laugh, "Heh, kid. You want to be my successor, don't you?"
Hoare, hearing this, gave a shy smile and scratched the back of his head, "I don't have such thoughts. Being a successor means managing salaries, and that's too much trouble."
The cold smile on Grindelwald's face vanished instantly.
"Then what do you mean by this?"
"You want to enjoy my resources and connections for free without taking any responsibility?"
His gaze was filled with murderous intent, as if he would kill Hoare on the spot if he answered incorrectly.
Hoare sighed helplessly, "Isn't this a bit like forcing a sale?"
"There's no logic in forcing someone to be a successor," Hoare muttered under his breath.
Grindelwald's expression turned grim, realizing that Hoare had twisted his words.
However, instead of getting angry, he fell into deep thought.
Perhaps this was a turning point.
Those old subordinates had been living in endless anticipation until today.
What do you think?
