Chapter 115
When I came to, I found myself in Yoo Eun-ha's space.
I was seated at a table, directly across from the author. Yoo Eun-ha stared at me for a moment, her gaze sharp and unrelenting, before letting out a deep sigh.
“Haah, so you finally went through with it, huh?”
“Went through with what?”
“When I woke up, I found this written in my notebook—it says you devoured Seo Ji-yeon.”
She pulled out the notebook resting on the desk and showed it to me.
“Really?”
So, that notebook records all of my actions.
“When do you plan on turning her into a monster?”
“Hmm, not sure. I’ll do it whenever Seo Ji-yeon wants it. No rush, right?”
After all, Seo Ji-yeon had already risen to the top ranks as one of the strongest characters in the previous series. In terms of digital monsters, she was practically a Mega-level. Her transformation wasn’t urgent.
Of course, turning her into a monster would mean she could use her abilities instantly, without needing to move a finger—that would be convenient, though.
“Well, depending on how you fight, she might already be stronger than Yoo Jin-seok.”
Take positioning, for example.
Right now, Yoo Jin-seok was weakened after losing the Divine Sword. His power wasn’t what it used to be.
But I wasn’t summoned here for a debate about who would win between Korea and Japan.
“So, why did you call me today?”
“China might start moving soon. In preparation, the Baekhwa Cult needs to put in more effort. Thanks to someone wiping out all the hunters under Ha Jung-seok, the stage is set.”
Well, that had to be done. Sure, it was a bit of a waste, but if I hadn’t taken care of it, Ha Jung-seok would’ve kept underestimating me and sending trouble my way.
“Alright. I’ll take responsibility for it.”
“Then go ahead and head back. I need to get some sleep now.”
Yoo Eun-ha waved her hand dismissively, like she couldn’t be bothered anymore.
Seriously, calling me here and then sending me off? Her attitude is something else.
“You always seem to sleep just as I’m about to leave. Do you really like sleeping that much?”
At my comment, she pressed her temples with her fingers and spoke.
“Maybe because I want to have sweet dreams? Who knows.”
Sweet dreams, huh. I feel like I’m always having them.
If she says to go, then I’ll go. Not like I have much choice.
What do you think?
