Guide to tame my villainous husbands

Chapter 1442 1442: Is it enough to convince you

Of course, Mo Qiang knew this. She also knew that the woman would not sit still without seeing her head on her feet. She sighed and exhaled heavily.

"Let's see what their faction had planned," said Mo Qiang, as there was no other choice. Even if she rushed up to the rebels' village and broke the tortal, who could guarantee that nothing would happen?

Wen Gui also had the same thought. At least now they had a general idea. If they let the rebels slip past this time, there was a very good chance that they might become even more slippery the next time.

Thus, even though he was worried, he could only let the rebels run amok for the time being.

A week passed by without the rebels making a move. Mo Qiang also forgot about the tortal that was being built in the village of rebels and finished harvesting the sweet potatoes and the mangoes that she had planted in her greenhouse.

However, on one unfortunate day, when she was finished harvesting the sweet potatoes, Mo Qiang felt the ground underneath her shake.

"Hmm?" She raised her head and looked up; her eyes fell on the large cloud of dust that was rising in the east, and she narrowed her eyes to see what was going on clearly. Of course, it was impossible for her to see what was going on, so she could only take out a pair of binoculars that she had bought and use them to see the situation.

What she saw made her stupefied.

Fu Shi! That woman was really a —

Treasure chest!

She actually sent her an army of Mutated Ducks!

When Mo Qiang saw that the gigantic beasts that were pecking everything in their path with their beaks were actually the mutated form of ducks, her eyes lit up. She had been trying to get her hands on these ducks for a while, but it was rather difficult as she didn't have the position of merchant in the sentient dimension, which made it impossible for her to capture these ducks.

Not to mention, because of their beautiful plumage, they were protected by the sentient beings, but now hehe. Looking at the colourful plumage, long fluttering feathers and the beaks that could tear apart anything, Mo Qiang didn't feel any fear; if anything, she was rather excited.

"Huhu, Chichi... You know what to do, right?" She grinned as she turned to look at the two spirits that were already salivating. They had eaten the meat of the ducks found in the imperial star, and though it was delicious, the spirits knew that the most delicious one was the meat of these wild ducks.

So, how can they not be excited?

They immediately picked up the weapons and charged into the battlefield, determined to capture as many ducks as possible.

When Wen Gui saw the gigantic ducks, he was speechless. He knew that Fu Shi was determined to bring Mo Qiang down, but after seeing her pull such a move for the second time, he suddenly had a little suspicion. Was that woman really trying?

From the looks of it, it seemed like Fu Shi was actually trying to help Mo Qiang!

Yin Fu, too, had the same thoughts; he turned to look at his father-in-law and asked, "Are you sure that she is trying to take over the throne, Father? What if she is actually a good woman?"

Wen Gui parted his lips, but then he shook his head and said, "Don't ask me anything; I don't know." He paused and then said to Yin Fu and the rest, "Go and help Qi Qi."

He needed to take some rest and rebuild his worldview, as this was the first time he had seen a rebel so foolish as Fu Shi. Even though he was furious at the actions of the woman, he couldn't help but feel sorry for her.

Either that woman was way too unlucky, or she was just a fool.

Either way, Wen Gui felt sorry for her.

Yin Fu and the rest looked at one another when they heard the words of their father-in-law.

"Do you want to go?" Yin Fu asked the other three.

While Yi Yazhu refused, Xie Jie and Shao Hui agreed. They also wanted to have some exciting adventures, while Xie Jie simply wanted to get some duck meat. Shao Hui thought that running around would help him lose some meat off his bones.

Since the two wanted to go, Yin Fu didn't stop them; he brought them to the battlefield after developing a few traps that could be used to capture the ducks.

Once the three mers took over, it didn't take long for Mo Qiang to capture more than half of the mutated ducks. With Yin Fu's traps and Shao Hui making them fall into the pits that they had dug, half of the army was captured.

Xie Jie used his skills and made the mutated ducks go to sleep right away.

With the three mers taking care of the first half, Mo Qiang cleaned up the latter half and the entire army of the mutated ducks was captured along with the rest of the rebels who were behind this large hunt.

Though they did try to escape, Mo Qiang didn't let them go. She had been waiting for them to cause trouble for a while now. So how could she let them run away so easily?

"Where do you think you are going?" Mo Qiang said to the rebel king, who was about to run away with her tail tucked between her legs. She pulled the woman back by her collar and slapped her on the back of her head. "Where do you think you are going? Since you dared to cause such a ruckus, shouldn't you stay here and take responsibility for the good things that you have done?"

"You dared to cause trouble, eh? With this old body and churning bones, you actually dared to become the rebel king? Hmm, hmm, you old woman at least take a look at your creaking bones!"
