Chapter 117 - After the Battle
Yang Yi checked his personal attribute panel and found that it contained much more information.
Yang Yi:

After checking his status, Yang Yi immediately retrieved a bottle of Regeneration Potion from the Worm Ring and drank it.
An indescribable itch crawled across his entire body, the side effect of the potion.
What surprised Yang Yi more was that the properties of the Worm Ring had changed.
【Name: Charred Worm Ring】
【Type: Relic】【Quality: Rare】【Description: A tiny worm ring that mutated in obsession with the pleasure of flames. It will stubbornly cling to you and is difficult to remove. Internally provides five cubic metres of storage space, convenient for storing and retrieving items. But remember to roast it with fire daily, or it may bite off your finger.】It seemed the ring was indeed a living creature...
Unfortunately, the stomach pouch didn't survive and had been roasted into a cooked mess.
After drinking the Regeneration Potion, Yang Yi's Vitality rose slightly.
However, the duration of Refusal to Die ended shortly after, plunging him into a weakened state. All attributes except Spirit decreased by 2.
His injuries, as if on cue, flared up at the same time. Yang Yi collapsed to the ground, barely able to move, his vitality slowly draining… until it stopped.
Before long, he heard footsteps.
Though his vision was gone, Yang Yi's sense of smell had become extraordinarily sharp, allowing him to identify the intruder's identity and location by scent alone.
That familiar fragrance undoubtedly belonged to Suna. As expected, she approached, crouched down, and seemed to be examining Yang Yi's wounds.
After a dozen seconds, she finally spoke.
"Can you still hear me?
Your injuries are severe, nearly 100% third-degree burns. Even in an ICU, you wouldn't survive.”Her voice trembled, carrying both sorrow and... excitement. Before long, her tone shifted.
"How about...?"
"Stop! Cut that crazy idea out! I'm still alive!"
Yang Yi hurriedly interrupted, startling Suna. The charred corpse had actually spoken, and quite fluently at that. He was afraid that if he spoke a second too late, Suna would dissect him right then and there...
In reality, she wasn't holding a knife, or at least not yet. She wouldn't do so until confirming his death.
Yang Yi quickly explained, "I've advanced to Transcendent now and I'm a werewolf! My self-healing is very strong!
Look at my Vitality, it's not dropping anymore!"Suna glanced at the crew panel, sure enough, his Vitality had stopped decreasing.
"Can you send me your attribute panel?" Suna suddenly asked.
"Well..." Yang Yi hesitated.
In the past, he'd never have sent Suna his panel, not only to hide his trump cards but to prevent her from messing with Transcendent pathways.
Maybe because he was lightheaded, after a few seconds of hesitation, he sent his personal panel over.
Suna was visibly surprised. She had only tried on a whim, not expecting Yang Yi to actually send it to her. After all, he had always been highly guarded.
Soon, however, her attention was drawn to the details in Yang Yi's personal panel, especially the unique talent: Steel Will.
If she could obtain this talent, then Truth would be almost within reach! Suna’s eyes gleamed brightly before she quickly concealed her emotions. (1)
Not long after, Yang Yi also received a private message — it was Suna’s personal panel.
"Truth... And your magic, why does it look so normal?!"
Yang Yi had noticed Suna’s spells.
Compared to hers, his own abilities made him seem like a full-blown cultist! Moreover, her Perception attribute was astonishingly high, a solid 9 as a base stat, with no external bonuses!
That meant she had likely started with an 8 in Perception right from the beginning, and her growth had been remarkably fast!
Through exchanging panels, the two further solidified their trust.
Once she confirmed that Yang Yi was no longer in immediate danger, Suna suggested relocating to their previous campsite.
Since their tents were still intact there, it would be a suitable place to rest. Yang Yi, in his current condition, wasn’t fit for travel.
"Have all the Ice Nest cultists been dealt with?" Yang Yi asked.
Hearing that, Suna turned her head towards a spot not far away.
There lay a three-metre-long, charred, stitched monstrosity, composed of a pale worm segment fused with numerous severed limbs from Ice Nest cultists.
It was using its own body to smash the last few remaining cultists into pieces.
"Most of them were burned to death by you. The last few were just crushed moments ago", Suna replied.
Yang Yi checked the activity log and found entries related to the Ice Nest cultists.
【Name: Ice Nest Cultist】
【Description: The lowest-ranked members of the Ice Nest Order, marked with obedience sigils. They are slow, mechanical in movement, physically fragile, and highly susceptible to shattering. Though they thrive in extreme cold, their bodies rapidly age and perish once exposed to warmth. To embrace eternal frost is to obtain an almost limitless lifespan — but at what cost?】
After confirming that the surroundings were secure, Suna recalled the stitched monstrosity and prepared for relocation.
By then, the fires had mostly died out, and the melting ice was beginning to refreeze.
Suna commanded the stitched creature to swallow some of the unburned cultist corpses, planning to take them back for research.
Afterwards, she set her sights on the Crystal Giant’s remains.
At that point, the giant’s body had been shattered and partially melted, leaving it riddled with cracks.
However, as the temperature dropped again, the previously liquefied sections re-solidified, turning the corpse into a massive, fused crystal heap, still bearing signs of its earlier melting.
The crystal pile stood three metres high and nearly ten long, far too large for an ordinary person to transport.
Fortunately, they were in a glacial environment. By tying it up with ropes and fastening it to the stitched monstrosity, they could drag it back, albeit at a slow pace, roughly the speed of a walking human.
With all this done, the battlefield was finally cleared.
Yang Yi was placed into a sleeping bag and dragged along by the stitched monstrosity towards the tent.
His burn wounds had been given basic treatment, and he was wrapped in a thick cotton coat to keep warm.
