Chapter 1064: 672, Dragon Clan Arrives
Chapter 1064: Chapter 672, Dragon Clan Arrives
Aerygon returned to his own territory.
After delegating all the preparatory work, he sat in his chair and fell into deep thought.
He had been plotting for so long, and his plan had finally reached this stage.
Actually, even now, he was not sure if it was Fang Hao who fought against the Dragon Clan at the Trade Alliance outpost.
But that no longer mattered.
The person had to be Fang Hao, and Fang Hao himself must die at the hands of the Dragon Clan in tonight’s operation.
Only then could he become the world’s number one and acquire everything that Fang Hao possessed.
Thinking this, a smile already appeared on his face.
He opened the Book of Lords and turned to the Alliance channel.
In the channel, people were discussing forming teams to explore the map.
Aerygon thought for a moment.
He composed a message and sent it out.
“Quiet down, I have something important to say. After I finish, this matter is only to be discussed within the Alliance. Anyone found leaking this information will be treated as a traitor to the Alliance.”
The previously lively channel instantly quietened down.
In the Alliance, Aerygon had considerable prestige.
Seeing that no one was speaking, Aerygon continued, “Tonight, I will act with the Dragon Clan to attack the territory of the world’s number one ‘Fang Hao.’ Afterward, I will be the world’s number one, and we will become the top Alliance.”
After a brief silence in the channel.
It suddenly erupted.
“Damn, Alliance Hierarch Aerygon, you are going to wipe out Fang Hao.”
“The Hierarch should have acted long ago, letting him be the world’s number one for so long.”
“Finally taking action, the world ranking has always been unfair.”
“That Fang Hao, what right does he have to be the first….”
While flattering Aerygon, the channel was also filled with mockery towards the world’s number one, Fang Hao.
Apart from flattering the Hierarch.
Many truly believed that Aerygon was the rightful world’s number one.
The combat power of the Dragon Clan was already at the pinnacle of the hierarchical pyramid.
As powerful as Fang Hao may be, he could not possibly be more formidable than the Dragon Clan.
The title of the world’s number one rightfully belonged to Aerygon.
Aerygon, seeing the comments popping up in the channel, smiled even more proudly.
He had also considered whether divulging this plan could potentially leak information to Fang Hao beforehand.
But on second thought, the two sides had little interaction and it was unlikely that information would be divulged.
Even if they shouted in the world channel that the Dragon Clan was going to attack Fang Hao, it would not create any waves.
Especially since Fang Hao was like a reclusive turtle, with hardly any news about him in the outside world.
Watching the channel, as it showered praises for a while.
Aerygon then composed another message.
“To better promote our Alliance and recruit members, at 6 AM tomorrow, all members should post in the world channel, collectively declaring our ascent to number one.”
By 6 AM tomorrow, with the capabilities of the Dragon Clan, they would have already started clearing the battlefield.
He also wanted to use this opportunity to promote both himself and the Alliance.
And at that time, the number of people being few, it would be the perfect timing to dominate the screen.
Then, accompanied by the members’ advertisements, he would post the pictures of himself seizing Fang Hao’s territory.
This would solidify his position as the world’s number one.
At the same time, the whole world would know that the former world number one had been defeated at his feet.
“Understood!”
“Got it, Hierarch!”
Aerygon nodded in satisfaction.
At that moment, the voice of a guard came from outside the door again.
“Sir, Ms. Beata has notified you to go over, it’s time to depart.”
Aerygon’s expression grew serious.
The time to depart had finally arrived!
He put on his battle armor and strode out of the room.
…
Main city.
Night had fallen, but the lights were still bright inside the Lord’s hall.
At a central position in the hall was a square wooden table.
A hand-drawn blueprint was spread out on the table, a blueprint of an amusement park.
Rolana, the Blacksmith, the stone carver, and several Dwarf engineers from Gray Iron City were gathered around the table, earnestly discussing the layout of the amusement park.
The discussion was taken very seriously, as people took turns speaking and some continuously modified the blueprint based on the feedback.
Fang Hao was sitting nearby, somewhat unsure what to say anymore.
He merely wanted to build a simple amusement park, a place for those inexperienced bunny and fox girls to relax and enjoy themselves outside their training.
A better living environment.
But after visiting the construction site twice, Rolana insisted on using her experience in designing and constructing castles as a pretext.
To completely revamp the layout of the amusement park.
Listening as they discussed digging ponds and constructing large artificial mountains,
Fang Hao suddenly realized this was heading towards creating a large-scale scenic area.
…
The night grew deeper.
The vampire and the Undead craftsman were getting more excited as they conversed, and the blueprint was redrawn several times.
As if they were not making an amusement park, but some sort of artistic landscape.
But Fang Hao was getting sleepy and sat with his arms around himself, yawning constantly.
“Cough, cough! Rolana, there’s no rush. Look at the time, it’s late; perhaps it’s time everyone went back to rest.”
Fang Hao coughed lightly, interrupting their grand ideas about mountainous designs.
Rolana frowned slightly and looked at the Undead craftsman beside her.
Apart from the two muscle-bound Dwarf engineers, it seemed nobody else needed to rest.
“Alright, you two go back and rest, we have more to discuss,” Rolana said to the two Dwarfs.
The implication was that she intended to continue the discussion with the Undead craftsman.
Just as Fang Hao was about to say that he, too, needed to sleep and that if not, they should continue their conversation outside,
a ‘ding’ sounded, and a notification came from the Book of Lords.
Fang Hao checked it and saw it was from Ma Tianyi.
Had another foreigner come seeking information about him?
With a puzzled heart, he immediately opened the private chat.
“Boss, our members saw a large number of the Dragon Clan coming, they’ve occupied an Orc Village, not clear what their goal is,” came the message.
Upon seeing this message, Fang Hao’s heart tightened.
The Dragon Clan had come!
Last time he chatted with the Lizardmen Queen, he had inquired about the location of the Dragon Clan.
They were not in his region, and furthermore, they were quite far away.
To come here by flight was very difficult.
Yet unexpectedly, they had suddenly appeared on the east side of the main city today.
“Are you sure it’s the Dragon Clan? Were there any casualties? What are they doing occupying Orc Villages?” Fang Hao asked all at once.
Soon, Ma Tianyi sent a response.
“It is the Dragon Clan, and their numbers are large. Members reported seeing a transmigrator, and it’s possible they plan to convert the city to recruit new troops.”
Converting cities was not a unique ability of Fang Hao,
but rather a capability provided to transmigrators by the Book of Lords.
Now that both the Dragon Clan and a transmigrator had come, their intentions were quite clear.
They knew his location, or rather had a rough idea of it.
They planned to eliminate him tonight.
“Okay, I understand. Tell your people to avoid conflict with the Dragon Clan as much as possible; everyone who is in the nearby cities should leave and hide,” Fang Hao replied.
“Understood!” Ma Tianyi nodded.
End chat.
Seeing the few who were about to leave, Fang Hao spoke seriously, “Kulyn, Grey, inform all the craftsmen, funeral priests, and non-combatants to gather at the lord’s mansion.”
Kulyn and several other craftsmen were stunned, not understanding why they were just asked to leave and now were being gathered again.
Without waiting for them to ask why, Fang Hao continued to Rolana, “Summon all the stationed heroes in the city to a meeting. The Dragon Clan is coming. They’re about to attack the main city.”
Gasps!
Everyone was startled.
The Dragon Clan was attacking.
After a brief moment of chaos, they quickly followed Fang Hao’s orders to notify others.
They swiftly left the lord’s mansion.
…
Main city, east side.
An Orc Village.
The original Orcs had been driven away.
Leaving behind only the empty village and the surrounding area littered with huge dragons.
“Aerygon! When can you recruit?” Beata asked.
Aerygon immediately replied, “It can be recruited right away.”
As he watched the countdown on several buildings commence,
a wave of excitement, mixed with anticipation for the upcoming battle, rose in his heart.
“How much do you know about this Fang Hao?” Beata asked, sitting down on a wooden box by her side, suddenly inquiring.
As the decisive battle neared, she felt a bit bewildered.
Aerygon promptly replied, “This Fang Hao, although he’s ranked first in the world, his combat power definitely cannot match the Dragon Clan. Miss Beata can rest assured on this point.”
He had previously told Beata that Fang Hao’s faction was very likely the Undead.
Hearing her ask again, he only thought she was unsure of the opponent’s strength.
Beata sighed lightly, deciding not to say more.
Soon, they would kill Fang Hao, yet suddenly a difficult-to-describe feeling surged within her.
As if by killing him, she might later regret it.
Seeing that Beata did not respond and the buildings still had not succeeded, Aerygon continued, “Miss Beata, if Fang Hao is captured, could you leave him to me to deal with?”
Beata looked at him with confusion.
Aerygon went on, “All of us transmigrators are part of an Alliance. Capturing Fang Hao, I plan to execute him through the World Channel to boost promotion for our Alliance and recruit more members who will serve the Dragon Clan in the future.”
Beata’s brows furrowed deeper.
She could clearly hear that he wanted to use the disgrace of Fang Hao to promote his capabilities through that “World Channel.”
If it had been before, she might have agreed.
But now, even if they were to kill Fang Hao, she wished for him to die a swift death, not a humiliating one.
“I want to take him back to Mount Dragon Peak for handling. We’ll talk about it then,” Beata said.
“Um… okay,” Aerygon did not expect Beata to refuse, but he agreed nonetheless.
Even if he couldn’t execute him, taking a couple of photos for promotional purposes would have the same effect.
Soon, the countdown on several buildings ended.
Aerygon greeted everyone and began recruiting troops.
A large number of Pseudo-Dragons and Pterodactyl Riders appeared.
Circling above the city,
once recruitment was entirely complete.
Aerygon pointed in a direction, and all Dragon Clan members soared into the sky.
Flying toward the west.
…
More than two hours later.
Aerygon, riding a Winged Dragon, rapidly approached a giant, shimmering Silver Dragon.
Against the whooshing wind ringing in his ears,
he shouted, “Miss Beata, Fang Hao’s city is just ahead.”
The Silver Dragon glanced at him.
Its huge vertical pupil blinked once to show understanding.
The wings flapped again, speeding up the Dragon Clan.
What do you think?
