From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master

Lin Fan activated his Verdant Renewal ability.

Energy from the surroundings seeped into his body and triggered his regeneration.

The charred skin slowly peeled off, and new skin grew back in its place.

His organs that were fried also regenerated, with new cells taking the place of the old destroyed ones.

It was the first time Lin Fan had to resort to using his Verdant Renewal ability.

This elder wasn't someone he could underestimate.

"Argh." The lightning burned the elder's hand, and he dropped the blue flag.

Lin Fan, after recovering, lunged at the elder with his hammers.

The elder didn't have time to pick up the blue-colored flag, so he took a white-colored flag from his back and pointed it at Lin Fan.

A white glow appeared, and an ice wall appeared between the elder and Lin Fan.

Lin Fan swung his hammers at the ice wall, but he only managed to chip off bits of the ice wall.

It wasn't enough to stop him.

With a deep breath, he shouted at the ice wall with his Molten Roar ability.

The superheated air from his scream melted the ice wall within a few moments.

"You... How is this possible!" The elder exclaimed at what he saw.

He panicked and quickly took out a brown-colored flag.

A brown glow emitted from the flag, and a wall made of soil and rocks appeared.

However, Lin Fan was not in the mood to get through the rock wall.

Using his amulet, he transformed into the Cursed Giant Burrowing Bear.

Roar.

Giving out a loud roar, he used the huge paws of the Cursed Giant Burrowing Bear and smashed them onto the ground.

The next moment, the Cursed Giant Burrowing Bear disappeared, and a small mound appeared in the ground.

"Han Dang, stay back. Take care of Ming Ye." Zhao Qing Ying shouted as Han Dang smashed into the wall.

Zhao Ming Ye was lying on the ground with a huge wound on his chest.

As he tried to get up, Han Dang coughed out a mouthful of blood.

He stared at the guardian dragon which was now dealing out blows at Zhao Qing Ying and Zhang Yi Nian.

Taking out his pill bottle, he swallowed a pill and got next to Zhao Ming Ye.

Although he always squabbled with Zhao Ming Ye, he didn't really hate him.

He just enjoyed the banter; pissing him off at any moment had become a habit for him.

"Ming Ye, take this." Han Dang handed a pill over to Zhao Ming Ye and pulled him away from the guardian dragon.

"Argh. Can't you be gentler?" Zhao Ming Ye cried out and swallowed the pill.

However, it didn't do much.

The wound that was caused by the guardian dragon's claws couldn't be healed easily.

Han Dang tried not to show any signs of worry and said, "These cultivators from the Alchemy Peak! They must've regressed in their Alchemy after their peak lord was gone."

Zhao Ming Ye shook his head and said, "I don't think so. The guardian dragon might be more deadly than we had thought."

"Senior martial uncle! Careful of its claws; the wounds from the claws can't be healed easily!"

Han Dang shouted at Zhao Qing Ying and Zhang Yi Nian, trying to warn them about it.

Whoosh.

The guardian dragon, with its front claws, slashed down onto Zhao Qing Ying.

Zhao Qing Ying decided to dodge and rolled to the side.

Slush.

The claws dug into the rubble that was once the imperial court; debris shot out all over the place.

Ignoring the debris shooting at him, Zhang Yi Nian took the opportunity and punched at the front claws of the guardian dragon.

Boom.

The Qi wave from his punch hit the front claws and broke them.

Roar.

The guardian dragon gave out a loud roar from the pain and breathed out scorching flames at Zhang Yi Nian.

The flames nearly torched him.

Using his instincts, Zhang Yi Nian leaped back in the nick of time.

Now, he was next to Han Dang and Zhao Ming Ye.

They stared at the guardian dragon.

And to their horror, the fractured front claws of the guardian dragon were now healed.

It couldn't be defeated if this went on.

"Lin Fan better hurry, or we might perish here," Zhang Yi Nian thought silently to himself.

"Huh." Zhao Qing Ying leaped into the air and gave out a shout.

A Qi wave radiated from his body and pushed the guardian dragon back a few meters.

He held up his fingers and then sliced them downwards at the guardian dragon.

The small mound travelled towards the elder, getting through the wall easily.

Not knowing what was happening behind the rock wall, the elder didn't realize what was going to happen.

Whoosh.

Out of nowhere, two huge paws appeared from the ground and clawed onto the elder's legs.

"Argh." The elder cried out in pain and fell onto the ground.

He tried to take out a red flag from his back.

But he fumbled as the flag was being pressed on by his back.

The blood covering the paws of the Cursed Giant Burrowing Bear dripped onto his legs and burned through his flesh.

The elder twitched and cried out from the pain.

Looking at his legs, he saw Lin Fan back in human form standing at his legs.

Lin Fan took a step forward, raised the hammers in his hands, and smashed them down at the elder's head.

Crack.

The elder tried to block with his arms, but the hammers smashed through them like butter.

Soon after, the elder's head was smashed into a pulp as the contents inside splattered all over.

A familiar sound erupted in Lin Fan's mind.

[Ding! Congratulations on terminating malevolent intent.]

With the elder dead, the rock wall crumbled down into rubble.

Lin Fan then walked over to the dragon statue.

He pulled back his arms and turned his body back, ready to take a swing at the dragon statue.

"Lin Fan! Be careful!" Ho Ming shouted when he saw a figure coming from behind with a dagger at Lin Fan.
