From Abyssal Invasion to Bursting Stars with a Single Sword

This abandoned planet's sky was perennially clouded with gray haze, seldomly displaying the blue of the heavens.

Today, fortuitously, a small patch of clear sky appeared, revealing two suns in the heavens.

To be exact, they weren't suns, but rather the stars of the Orion λ838 Constant Star System.

"Why are there two suns?" Lin Zeyu asked with a surprised expression upon seeing two dazzling stars in the sky.

Lu Heng was also slightly surprised, as he didn't initially know that this star system was a dual-star system.

These two stars orbited each other, so from the planet, one appeared larger and the other smaller.

However, the smaller one was actually larger in size; it only appeared smaller because it was further away.

And the Capital Star Circle of the Sikes Civilization was not within this Constant Star System.

Seeing the appearance of two suns in the sky, it was no wonder the Sikes Civilization abandoned the planet after depleting its important resources.

"Better on the last day. When the time is almost up, we'll force our way in to take a look. If we don't find anything, when time's up we can return. Besides, I still have things to do right now." After some thought, Chen Zihang decided to act on the final day.

"That works, let's just force our way in on the last day then," Lu Heng agreed with his suggestion.

Since searching for the Abyss Pollution Source was a Challenge Task, it wasn't mandatory to complete.

Forcibly breaching the Central System's control room would inevitably lead to being deemed a rogue machine and targeted by the robots.

Therefore, making a forced entry when time was nearly over to search for the control room was indeed the best strategy. Regardless of whether they could find the control room, they could choose to return after the time ended.

And Lu Heng could guess what Chen Zihang referred to as "still having things to do".

Chen Zihang had been attempting to explore Building 1 previously, and he felt that the defenses on floors 21, 22, and 23 were the highest.

So he had already chosen his target, "I'll take Building 1."

Once this hour passed, the third Main Quest of the Abyss Battlefield, lasting 15 days, would be complete.

These past few days, the Central System's robots had been clearing out the remaining mechanical units of the unruly Mechanical Servants.

Although the mainframe of the rogue Mechanical Servants had been destroyed, the nature of the Gestalt Consciousness was such that all units combined to form a single consciousness whole, able to continue operating even if any unit was destroyed.
