Chapter 951: Chapter 951 Weak Alexander Summers_1 Chapter 951: Chapter 951 Weak Alexander Summers_1 “Even if we can’t have a child for the time being, we can still nourish our health slowly according to the old methods. We’ll eventually manage,” Hunter Dalton said.

“And what if we can’t manage?” Alexander Summers asked again.

Hunter Dalton hesitated, then said, “If we can’t manage, you’ll have to steer clear of rivers, lakes, and ponds. Once your body touches water, I’m afraid the ‘shock’ condition will reappear.”

For example, there was once when Purple Summers was pushed into an artificial lake by Laura Summers. The moment her body touched the water, her soul immediately left her body.

Speaking of which, life seemed like it would be quite inconvenient because of this: no going out to the sea, no boating, no hot springs, and probably one had to be extremely careful even when taking a bath at home.

Alexander Summers stayed silent, with his cigarette almost burnt out. He waved his hand, and Hunter Dalton left.

Alexander Summers remained alone in the study for a while, and when the smell of smoke had mostly dissipated, he went back to find Purple Summers.

Purple was sitting on the bed playing with her cell phone.

Alexander Summers leaned over and saw she had created a chat group, dragging several friends into it and announcing her upcoming marriage. The chat box was bustling with messages, very lively.

As Purple was typing a message in the chat box, she asked Alexander Summers, “How did the talk go?”

Alexander Summers, sitting beside her and watching her send messages, said lazily, “Hunter Dalton said we need to avoid water.”

“Oh,” Purple nodded, not surprised, “Just that? Are there any other precautions?”

Alexander Summers frowned slightly. He didn’t want to bring up the matter of having children.

“You think this is easy?” he said sternly, “There’s so much water, it’s virtually impossible to guard against all of it! You need to restrain yourself in the future!”

“It’s not so bad…” Purple didn’t take it seriously; she just had to stay away from swimming pools, that’s all.

She lowered her head and chatted a bit more in the group, then slowly realized something was off. She turned her head sharply to look at Alexander Summers.

Alexander Summers’ eyes twinkled with a teasing smile.

“Alexander Summers! You bastard!!!”

Purple swung her cell phone intending to throw it, but then thought better of it and put it down. Instead, she freed her hands to pinch his face!

“Do you even have a shred of shame? Do you?!”

Alexander Summers let her pinch him, even defending himself confidently, “Purple, you’re the one overthinking!”

Purple was close to losing it.

“Calm down,” Alexander Summers reached out to rub her chest.

Purple tried to push him away but failed, and instead, the two of them fell back onto the bed together, hands intertwined, lips meeting, breathing quickly becoming disordered.

He kissed her lips, her chin, her delicate neck, her exquisite collarbone… slowly moving downwards, inducing waves of shivers that were tantalizingly numbing, leading one to sink into it, then he stopped at the site of her scar, lightly delivering a kiss with breaths so hot.

Looking at that scar, he wondered if he had really made a mistake.

Difficulties in producing offspring, disaster befalling those around him, was it because he had been too morally corrosive, too ruthless in his dealings?

“Purple, I have many regrets,” Alexander Summers looked at that scar and sighed softly, but didn’t specify what he regretted.

Purple sat up slowly, looking at him with bewilderment and confusion.

Alexander Summers curved his lips into a faint smile, his expression harboring a touch of helplessness, even desolation.

This version of Alexander Summers was a stranger.

Unlike his usual domineering and fiery demeanor, he was now dejected and vulnerable.

Purple’s heart clenched with pity for him. After all, every person had a heart; who was truly impervious to emotion?

“What’s the matter?” she asked softly.

“Nothing,” Alexander Summers replied, “I just suddenly miss Mom, not knowing if she’s doing well.”

They had never given up searching for Atra Blanc, it’s just that there had been no news.

“I miss Mom too,” Purple murmured against his chest, “Do you think, if we held a super grand wedding, invited lots of journalists, and had all the channels broadcast our wedding news, Mom might see us on TV?… She would, right?”

Alexander Summers kissed her gently, “Yes, she will.”
