Forest Ranger, starting from Picking Up a Lynx Girl

"Just as I was mentioning," the male lynx came over with a rabbit in its mouth.

After arriving, it started babbling incessantly, and Jinya's urge to kill the lynx was almost uncontrollable.

Chen Ying quickly interrupted him.

"Have you spotted any girl you like recently? Surely not all your acquaintances are male lynxes? Doesn't any girl pay attention to you? Well, do you want Jinya to help you out?"

The male lynx perched on the warehouse roof, disheveled by the wind.

No, all he did was introduce a few good brothers to Jinya; he didn't mean any harm. Why should the two-legged beast attack him? It's not his fault no girl wants to get close to him.

Seeing the male lynx arrive with excitement and leave dejectedly, Jinya was so thrilled that she rolled around on the second-floor balcony, her laughter sounding like an old bellows.

From a distant tree, Leopard Sister and Brother Leopard snuggled together, watching Jinya's antics. Leopard Sister sighed.

"Although I don't like this guy, I still feel anxious for him. It's not that Little Jin is bad, it's just that they have no future."

Brother Leopard hugged Leopard Sister tightly, comforting her.

"Don't worry, Jinya's brother doesn't care about her, neither should you. She's still a kitten, in a couple of years she'll know how to find a partner."

Leopard Sister lay down sideways, her eyes vacant for a moment before she suddenly got up.

"Let's go, we'll go find Mendun'er."

"Who's Mendun'er?"

"Oh, it's a black and white bear. It was sick before, and was saved by a two-legged beast, now it's clinging to him, asking the two-legged beast to help find a mate to have babies. Heard it's on the next mountain, shall we go take a look?"

Anyway, they were idle, and hunting for black and white bears everywhere was annoying; they'd rather go on a short impromptu trip.

The two leopards set off right away, completely forgetting they had two silly sons.

Big and Small Baby returned from running wild to find no parents at home, utterly distraught. They went to Chen Ying for comfort, crying.

"Oh, your mom doesn't want you anymore."

Jinya, standing next to Chen Ying, relished their misfortune.

"How pitiable, you two are abandoned!"

Chen Ying, dark-faced, lightly slapped Jinya.

"Stop teasing. Do you know where your brother and sister went?"

"How would I know? I'm not a leopard." Jinya, annoyed, turned and walked away, not forgetting to shout at the two little leopards and give them a scare.

Chen Ying didn't understand what Jinya was going on about, and could only watch as she dove into his room and stretched out on the floor by his bed.

The two little leopards had never truly been away from their parents; they'd occasionally stay out too late because they knew their parents were there, and they could return any time to see them.

But truly not seeing their parents frightened Big and Small Baby. They wanted to search the forest for them but feared getting lost.

To be honest, Big and Small Baby were not even a year old; it wasn't time for them to leave the nest. Chen Ying couldn't figure out where Leopard Sister had gone either; how could they be so carefree about leaving their children?

Chen had no choice but to soothe Jinya into agreeing to let the two little leopards sleep in his room.

Of course, the bed was off-limits; giving them a corner of the room was already more than generous.

Thus, after four or five restless days, Leopard Sister and Brother Leopard returned in high spirits.

"Two-legged beast, let me tell you something."

On her return, Leopard Sister mercilessly pushed aside her two cubs rushing to call her 'mom,' eager to share the gossip.

The slap from their mother sent Little Baby rolling across the ground, staring in disbelief at her retreating figure, tears welling up.

Brother Leopard couldn't bear it, pulling over his son's little head and licking it comfortingly.

"I'm telling you, guess who I saw?"

In the envious eyes of a group of people, Chen Ying sat down and started petting Leopard Sister's neck.

"Who did you see? I guess, did you go looking for Mendun'er?"

Actually, Chen Ying didn't guess, he only knew because the conservation center called to complain.

These two leopards really found where Mendun'er was hanging out, and then they just climbed trees to watch Mendun'er flirt, rolling on the trees when they were happy.

The heart of the person in charge of surveillance at the conservation center almost stopped, fearing that a leopard would fall into the Panda Garden.

Originally, they hadn't thought it was Leopard Sister, but since the two Flower Leopards that were inseparable appeared, they instantly thought of them.

After finding former videos and doing image comparisons, confirming their identities, they called Chen Ying directly to ask if Leopard Sister hadn't been seen near the emergency center recently.

It was only then that Chen Ying, who was worried about Leopard Sister leaving the kids and disappearing, found out about their deeds.

What can I say, it was unexpected yet predictable.

Leopard Sister didn't know that someone from the conservation center had called to complain, she just knew that Mendun'er, that silly girl, got beaten up by a bear.

"Really got beaten up?"

"Yeah, I watched it happen. She went to steal someone's bamboo, and although she compensated with a bamboo shoot, the male didn't care for it."

"They were avoiding her anyway, but she ran over again to snatch their food, and after snatching it, she kept somersaulting in front of them. The male bear got so angry, he pounced on her and started beating her, Mendun'er was shrieking, but the male bear didn't let up, until finally a bunch of Two-legged beasts had to intervene and draw him away."

Chen Ying really didn't know what to say, Mendun'er, a girl, how could she act so recklessly? Could she really find her bear heartthrob this way?

As Leopard Sister was telling this to Chen Ying, Jinya was also lying nearby listening.

Hearing this point, Jinya couldn't hold back and burst into laughter.

Leopard Sister suddenly stopped rolling, glaring furiously at Jinya.

"Hey, you big cat who isn't looking for a boyfriend, you have the nerve to laugh at others? If you're capable, find a boyfriend and have a baby."

Jinya's smile froze, and her eyes gradually rounded.

After a moment, a great battle commenced in the woods, with Leopard Sister knocking Jinya to the ground seven out of ten times.

Jinya lunged with her mouth wide open, and Leopard Sister swept her away midair. Lacking the skill to combat the leopard's leg technique, Jinya rolled three times upon landing, her fur in complete disarray.

Little Jin sighed, perched on the eaves, exchanging glances with Brother Leopard on the other side, both stepping forward to mediate.

Jinya nearly lost it, almost recklessly charging for a final showdown with Leopard Sister.

Seeing this scene, Chen Ying thought, no way, he'd be heartbroken whoever got hurt.

"Jinya, that's enough, Jinya, do you want to go out for a stroll with me?"

Leopard Sister was too fierce, and Chen even flinched, only able to hold Jinya and keep comforting her.

Poor little thing, totally fluffed up in anger.

It was with great difficulty that Chen calmed Jinya down, and before he could catch his breath, Little Jin approached him, nearly rendering him speechless with a single question.

"Two-legged beast, do you think I and Jinya could have our little baby?"
