The windows were wide, his tall figure casting a long and solitary shadow on the floor.
He hadn’t taken a shower yet, looking as if he had stepped out to smoke a few cigarettes—his body was full of the smell of smoke.
“I’m going to sleep in the guest room.”
Jasmine told him her plans and went to the closet to pick out a few clothes.
“Is my bed not to your liking?” Sylvan turned around, his austere gaze falling upon her.
