Chapter 1234: Chapter 1125: The Silent One
This is a sky vault enveloped in darkness.
Darkness serves as the fundamental tone of the entire world, as if every inch of space is filled with darkness as its origin.
The vast expanse of black space is like being cloaked under a layer of sky vault that is even darker than darkness itself. Among the sky vault, numerous pitch-black giant stars float.
On one of those giant stars, a young man walks slowly through the darkness.
His attire resembles that of a monk, with strings of beads around his neck and wrists, yet these beads are crafted from dark stars.
Each dark star that has been made into beads seems not yet silent; within each bead, endless voices echo, with wails, murmurs, and joy…
Like a highly cultivated monk, he silently fingers his rosary beads, and whenever he passes his fingers over them, the voices within the beads fall silent.
He is dressed in a simple black robe, not even wearing shoes. It seems that on his body, there is only this robe and these two strings of beads.
He walks across the darkened soil, wades through ink-black oceans, and then approaches a pitch-dark forest.
Each tree in this forest is incredibly tall, extending from the dark giant stars as if interconnected with the entire dark sky vault.
The young man stands before the thickest tree, he is silent for a very long time, as if even space vanishes due to his silence, and time drifts away because of his silence.
Silence seems to possess some indescribable power, causing the entire giant tree to topple over.
Then, that giant tree is split into a coffin by this silent power.
The young man continues his silence; suddenly, the dark giant star beneath his feet silently cracks open, transforming into a sky of black giant clouds, then constantly changing shape, being compressed, being attracted, turning into a piece of black kindling.
This piece of black kindling enters the coffin.
From beginning to end, the young man does nothing, his hands never lifted, his eyes never closed, not a word spoken, yet he has already caused an endlessly ancient dark great star to be annihilated.
The young man then turns, and the coffin follows behind him as he continues to proceed.
He walks from the darkness, each step seeming like crossing voids; under the vast sky vault, on each dark giant star, suddenly beams of black light move toward him, turning into silhouettes, following him.
