The whole colosseum had turned into a death zone where so many people had already died.

Jayden's gaze brought fear across the hearts of the entire audience; the screams of the strongest person in their universe only increased the dreadful feeling.

"I am sure you all have enjoyed yourselves quite a lot; let me put on just one last show for you. It will be so good that you will die in your seats," Jayden spoke as he gazed at the space above the Colosseum.

All the people followed his gaze, their hearts beating wildly; suddenly, clouds covered the entire area, making it slightly dark. Gasps and cries sounded all over the place.

Then, to the surprise of them all, they saw a strange scene as if a mirror had been placed in the clouds; all the people found themselves staring back at them.

Murmurs rang out, but suddenly everything became quiet. Like a video playing, the scenes in the clouds changed; strange black ball- sized creatures rained down from the sky and fell onto all the people in the image.

Instantly, the creatures began to devour all the people, tearing them apart and biting mercilessly; their bodies were ripped apart as they screamed in pain and terror, but couldn't even move from their seats.

All of this played in the scenes in the cloud; millions of people died such gruesome deaths, but they couldn't do anything. It chilled the hearts of all the people of the Topaz universe watching this.

After a few minutes, when it had ended, Jayden spoke again: "Did you enjoy your last show? Hmmm? Why am I not hearing the exciting cheers all of you were giving when your emperor was attacking my family? Well, forget it, I'll give you all an easier death."

"Emi, close your eyes, and Alice, you too; it won't be good for the baby." As Jayden spoke, Emi and Alice both nodded and closed their eyes.

Then the colour of the cloud darkened, and after a few seconds, roars and rumbling began to sound from it; the crowd begged and cried, regretting their decision to ever come to this place.

Within moments, like rain pouring down, countless black creatures began to rain down on millions of people as they screamed, but knew no help was coming.

Unlike the scenes they saw in the clouds, the creatures didn't tear their bodies apart but bit their heads off immediately, beheading and killing them.

Just after a few minutes, all the cries died down as several million people of the Topaz universe remained seated across the Colosseum with their heads missing; only the blood and corpses remained, as the black creatures soon disappeared and the sky cleared.

After he was done with the audience, Jayden turned all the dead— and even their blood— into energy before absorbing it. Finally, he turned his gaze towards the screaming emperor, who hadn't even noticed the death of so many of his people.

"Everything is fine now, you can open your eyes," Jayden spoke, as he moved closer to the emperor.

Alice and Emi opened their eyes and saw that all the seats of the Colosseum were empty; everyone had disappeared without a trace, but it was obvious what their fate was.

None of them felt any pity towards those millions of people; they had been laughing and cheering when the emperor was torturing them and was about to slaughter them all. They were so happy to enjoy the whole show.

"It wouldn't be enough to just kill you; you should live a very, very long life. You enjoyed being this strong, so you can keep all that power, and you also seem to love this universe quite a bit, so from now on you will be protecting it with everything you have." As he spoke, Jayden appeared in front of the emperor, whose body lifted into the air and floated right in front of Jayden.

The emperor's body had gone limp; he felt even more pain, but he couldn't control any part of his body. He couldn't even scream as Jayden tapped on his head with a finger; instantly, the emperor felt a tearing pain as if every single part of his being were stretched and torn into pieces.

In the next moment, his body floated outside of the universe and began to enlarge at an exponential rate, while his body began thinning. Despite being stretched to such a state, his skin didn't tear but continued to expand for miles upon miles.

Not only did he feel the overwhelming pain from Jayden's drop of blood, but the stretching pain was proving to be unbearable even for a warrior like him who had been in countless wars all his life; aside from that, Jayden had done something strange to him.

"W- What had he done to me? The effect of that pill shouldn't last more than a day, but it seems my strength isn't going to go down at all; i- it will remain there, but the cost will be my life force. My life force will be constantly expanded to keep me at this level of power— I can't even stop this. If this continues like that, then my life force will completely die down just to keep this all up," the emperor thought as helplessness, despair, and fear filled him.

After a few minutes, the emperor finally understood what Jayden meant by what he had just said.

The green body had stretched into a large barrier that covered the entirety of the Topaz universe; he was turned into a living shield that would remain there until his life force had been expanded completely.

"So I will suffer when someone attacks, along with all this pain I'm feeling each and every second. I can feel my life energy being sucked away, yet I can't do anything; J— just kill me— dying would be much better than this kind of torture," the emperor continued to scream internally, but outside he remained nothing more than a protective barrier.

Jayden saw this and nodded; the security of this universe had increased by a large margin. He doubted most universes would have such a strong defensive barrier, being protected by a barrier almost at the five- star level.

After seeing that nothing was wrong, Jayden glanced around and saw the dead body of Zendax; it was a pity that he had died without suffering the consequences of doing all this— he played a big role in all of this, after all.

"You can't escape so easily; you too will have to live and suffer just like your emperor," Jayden spoke, his hand making a grabbing motion as Zendax's body rose in the air.

A wisp of energy flew into his body, and in the next instant, he coughed as his eyes opened wide. While his entire body shuddered in pain and fear, he looked around frantically, not understanding what had just happened until his gaze landed on Jayden.

"Y— You… What kind of monster are you? W— Why won't you even let me die in peace? Ughhh... P— Please, sob, sob, it was my mistake; please just kill me. I— I can't take any more. I beg you, I have already suffered enough, and your family is completely safe, so just kill me, I am begging you…" Zendax cried.
