Checking back in with Lucien to get his perspective as Tea makes her move.

No plan survives contact with the enemy. Lucien, along with Blackfire and Mercy, had been eager to raid the secret laboratory that his two heads of security had uncovered for him. Not just because they were squatting on HIS land, but also because it gave him an opportunity to put the number enhancements he's incorporated into himself and Blackfire through their paces in a real life situation.
See, once he was CEO of LexCorp, the world was his oyster. Lucien had access to more samples of DNA than he really knew what to do with, including more… esoteric and foreign examples. Kryptonian, for instance. And boy hadn't that been a fascinating set of genetics to dissect and utilize. It took him weeks before he was happy with the Kryptonian+ Template he'd ultimately wound up giving himself and Blackfire.
Still, despite their preparation, he hadn't been expecting the cloning. Neither the clone of Supergirl, nor the clone of Superman and Wonder Woman. Neither Galatea nor Match had been known quantities before the raid had begun. It was only afterwards that they'd discovered just what Professor Emil Hamilton had gotten up to.
The man's death… didn't exactly weigh on Lucien's conscience. Certainly, Lucien could have saved him. After all, he resurrected him once before, healing him quickly enough that Galatea's fatal blow didn't quite take. But where Galatea's action had been impulsive and ill thought out, Lucien could tell that Match's was not. The Superman-Wonder Woman clone knew exactly what she was doing. Her murder of Emil Hamilton was neither impulsive nor driven solely by emotion. It was premeditated, plain and simple.
Oh sure, there was definitely a lot of emotion involved in the killing… but there was also a cold, clinical pragmatism to it as well. Emil Hamilton had nearly succeeded in stripping Match of every freedom one could imagine… in the end, she couldn't risk him living to do it again.
Of course, with the Professor dead and the lab decidedly NOT blown up by the self-destruct that he was supposed to set off, they had to act rather quickly in order to secure the current advantage they had over Cadmus. Knowing now that the organization had survived being purged not just from LexCorp's payroll but also the federal government when Alex had come into power… well, they were going to need every ounce of information they could get.
Fortunately, Emil Hamilton was the only person who'd had to die so far. The rest of the workers at the Professor's laboratory, while being watched closely, were less culpable in everything. They were drones, one and all, just following orders. And while that was never an excuse for bad actors, it did mean they were largely ignorant of things.
Some of them hadn't even known that they no longer had the backing of LexCorp given that all of their equipment still had his company's name on it. And ALL of them were surprised to hear that they'd been largely disavowed by the US government and the new President of the United States.
In the end, turning them was easy. They were followers looking for a way out so Lucien gave them one. Figuratively anyways, not literally. For now, they would all remain in the laboratory until they could be properly processed.
Meanwhile, up top, LexCorp Recovery Services were already 'responding' to a manufactured sinkhole that made it look like the lab's self-destruct had gone off as intended. The 'recovery' and 'restoration' of the land would give them ample cover for moving things and people out of the underground labs before eventually filling in the whole place when all was said and done.
Hopefully, the data they'd managed to pull from the laboratory's closed servers would also give them an idea of any further Cadmus Operations taking place on LexCorp lands. They couldn't strike too swiftly for fear of giving the game away, but if they set things up right and launched a multiprong attack, they could wipe the board clean and get rid of quite a lot of enemies in one fell swoop.
For now though… Lucien would consider tonight a job well done. They've relocated back to his penthouse in Metropolis and brought Galatea and Match with them to boot. There's more than enough room for them both to have their own space here for now, even if Lucien has to admit he still doesn't quite know what to do with them.
The fact that they want to 'repay' him is nice and certainly something he's not against by any measure. After all, he did the same thing with Killer Croc, aka Waylon Jones all the way back in Gotham City, and the man, cured of his 'skin affliction', had been a loyal and hard worker for Lucien ever since.
At the same time, he's not sure that he wants to let the rest of the world know about their existence. Maybe it's not the kind of thing to keep secret, but it feels like a rather large bombshell to drop in the laps of any of the involved parties. Especially when Kara Danvers is currently working as his Personal Assistant. And even in the case of Match, he's not sure how Superman or Wonder Woman would react to the clone's existence.
Sitting behind the desk in his private office, Lucien lets out a sigh as he plays with the sliver of Kryptonite from the capsule that had been embedded in Galatea's spine. Having popped the capsule open, he has the shard, barely bigger than his smallest fingernail, resting on the palm of his hand.
Not a single twinge. Not even a shiver. As he already knew, Kryptonite has no effect on him. A Kryptonian's greatest weakness… was nothing but a pretty rock as far as Lucien was concerned. A smile flits across his face, even as he rubs the sliver of Kryptonite between two fingers.
Rather ingenious for an 'insurance' policy, he had to admit. The capsule was certainly something else, to be able to contain the effects of Kryptonite while buried inside of a literal Kryptonian. Lead to keep it invisible, and some other materials to block it from killing the Kryptonian it was inside before it was time.
Lucien… had no use for such contingencies. It just felt gross to him, but then everything about Professor Hamilton's experiments and projects made him feel disgusting. It reminded him of the fears he'd had back in the early days initially after coming back in time and gaining his own powers. The thought that at any moment, his father would realize what was up and send a squad to nab him.
If not for Brainiac kidnapping the real Lex and Alexander Luthor being a better man than his true father had ever been, Lucien might very well have wound up in a laboratory helmed by someone like Professor Emil Hamilton, or even the scientist himself. He would have been reduced to nothing more than another lab experiment, an expendable asset to be poked and prodded until every ounce of value had been extracted from him.
… Hah, maybe he had his own reasons for not healing Hamilton after the second time the bastard died. How many nights in those early days had he lay awake in bed staring at the ceiling, wondering if the next moment in time would be the moment that a capture squad from LexCorp came barreling through the door and windows?
Too many. Too many by-
"Lucien. The blonde is asking to see you."
Pulled out of his thoughts, Lucien blinks and tilts his head to the side as Blackfire's voice crackles through the intercom. After a moment, he slips the sliver of Kryptonite back into its capsule and puts the capsule in a drawer before slowly nodding.
"Send her in."
A moment later and the door to his office opens, admitting Blackfire and Galatea. The Exiled Tamaranean Princess, who at this point is so, SO much more than that, crosses her arms over her chest as she watches Galatea with distrust in her eyes.
Meanwhile, the Supergirl Clone has changed out of the white leotard she'd worn with its inexplicable 'boob window' and is instead wearing a soft cotton top and a pair of cotton pajama shorts. She looks good in the bedtime clothes, admittedly. Her powerful thighs are on full display, even as her bust strains against the top she's picked out.
Smiling, Lucien rises from his chair and moves around the desk, making things more personable as he leans against the front rather than keeping the piece of furniture between them.
"Galatea, I'm glad to see you're settling in. Was there something I could do for you though?"
The blonde hesitates for a moment, taking in the room, Blackfire, and then him in that order. Finally, she speaks in a soft voice that, despite their unfamiliarity with one another, feels uncharacteristic all the same.
"You can call me Tea… i-if you like."
Lucien chuckles and dips his head in acknowledgment.
"Alright Tea. And you call me Lucien."
"… Yes."
Silence falls for a long moment as they both stare at each other. Galatea's heart rate is elevated, though not so much that Lucien is worried. Still, the intensity with which she's looking at him is… interesting. Unnerving, maybe? But at the same time, there's not much that can make him lose his nerve these days.
"Tea? Did you need something before bed?"
Jolting out of her reverie, Tea swallows convulsively and then glances over at Blackfire for some reason.
"Ah… may I speak with you? A-Alone?"
Well now. If he didn't know any better… Lucien hums before giving Blackfire a nod. His right hand woman huffs but doesn't try to argue. She'd be within range to help him if necessary anyways. If Galatea thought she would get true privacy with him, she had another thing coming. Though… the penthouse WAS equipped in such a way to prevent the more powerful types of metahumans, Kryptonians included, from peering into it.
Once Blackfire is 'gone', Galatea seems to relax a bit more, though there's still a nervous energy to her. Squirming, she walks up to him. It's almost like she's trying to saunter but doesn't know what the fuck she's doing. In the end, the beautiful blonde is a mere foot away and reaches up, placing her hands on his chest.
"I wanted to thank you, Lucien."
Her breathless tone makes it abundantly clear what she really means by that, though Lucien just smiles and plays dumb for a moment.
"You're welcome, Tea. I can't claim that I was down there tonight to save you and Match… but I'm very glad I was able to help the two of you all the same."
Galatea flushes, her eyes flicking to the side as she frowns at the mention of Match's name. She huffs, even as she curls her hands up in his shirt slowly, almost like she's afraid she's going to spook him if she moves too fast. That's… not going to happen, but even still, Lucien doesn't stop her as she looks into his eyes.
"… You didn't just talk, you acted. So you deserve more than just words in thanks."
And then she surges forward and kisses him. Lucien lets it happen and goes a step further by kissing her back. His own hands come up to rest on her body, one between her shoulders and the other on the small of her back. Galatea whimpers into his lips, pressing herself against him at his touch.
Her nipples are rock hard through her thin cotton top, and her tongue is very… eager to explore as she pushes past his lips and into his mouth. Lucien responds by pushing her back, his own tongue wrestling with hers and invading her mouth in turn.
Moaning, Galatea melts against him as he rather easily takes control of the kiss and shows her just how much experience can trump eagerness. To be fair, she doesn't try to remain in control for long. If anything, she seems to enjoy submitting to him.
Neither of them really HAS to come up for air, so eventually Lucien is the one who ends the kiss, bringing his hand up to the nape of Galatea's neck and pulling her away briefly to look her in the eyes.
"Tea… no matter what you think you owe me; you don't owe me this. Do you understand?"
Blue eyes widening, Galatea stares at him for a long moment before slowly nodding.
"I-I do… but I want to do this with you anyways… if you'll have me. Ever since you stopped me and grabbed me by the wrists I…"
A full body shudder runs through the blonde and Lucien raises an eyebrow as he realizes he might have inadvertently given the clone her first sexual awakening.
With a sigh, he smiles at her and lays another kiss on her lips, something she's eager to return. But he keeps this one chaste, not allowing tongue to come into play again even as he considers just what he's going to do with her…
Of course, before anything else can happen, Lucien pauses and lets out a sigh.
"Wait."
Galatea gives him a confused look that only grows in bewilderment when he looks over at the couch nearby and clears his throat.
"Spot."
Its deceptive, but the couch isn't actually up against the wall. There's a few feet between the piece of furniture and the wall of his office. The reason why becomes obvious as the couch shifts a little bit and the rather large head of his fully grown Snow Leopard pokes itself out, bleary eyes staring at Lucien as if to ask 'why the fuck are you waking me up?'
Sighing, Lucien points to the door.
"Go and see Blackfire for dinner, if you please."
For a long moment, the Snow Leopard (who might be more than just a Snow Leopard in several meaningful ways at this point) stares at Lucien almost petulantly. But finally, Spot slinks out from behind the couch, revealing himself in all of his big, fluffy, half-ton glory.
Galatea tenses up as Spot eyes her up and down before wrinkling his nose, flicking his ear, and casually padding out of the room like it was his idea all along. Finally, once he's fully gone, she looks back at Lucien in disbelief.
"… What was that?"
Lucien grins and answers absolutely deadpan.
"Snow Leopard."
From the look of incredulity on the clone's face, it seems she does in fact know what a Snow Leopard is… while also knowing that Spot is in fact not a normal Snow Leopard whatsoever. After all, your average adult Snow Leopard is a hundred and fifty pounds at MOST and about four and a half feet long at best.
Neither of which really describes Spot at this point. Lucien might have gone overboard in making sure his fluffy boy was protected in the event that anyone ever tried to use Spot against him. Hey, if Superman could have Krypto the Super Dog, he didn't see any problem with his genetically enhanced super cat.
In the end, Galatea shakes herself out of it and decides to focus back on what she really cares about. With no more interruptions presenting herself, she steps back half a foot and sinks to her knees, staring up at him with those big blue eyes. Lucien smiles down at her, even as she reaches for his crotch...
