I’ll head out now, you go rest too.” As he spoke, Yan Xinghe began gathering all the materials on the table. Once he had finished, he walked out.

“Captain, you’re…” Lan Xuanyu looked at him in confusion.

“Such a large piece of Space Origin Crystal is a priceless treasure! How can we keep it here? I must submit it to the mothership immediately. You go rest first and wait for my news.” With that, Yan Xinghe hurried away.

Lan Xuanyu quickly called after him: “Captain, now that Dragon Horse Planet Seventy-Six has been destroyed, the price of Space Origin Crystals is soaring even on Celestial Dragon Planet. Please try to earn us more merits!”

“Got it, got it.” Yan Xinghe didn’t even turn his head as he left.

What Lan Xuanyu brought back was of immense importance. It wasn’t just the Space Origin Crystal—the documents were significant too. If they indeed contained comprehensive data about the Dragon Horse Galaxy, their value would rival that of the crystal. Even more crucial was that Lan Xuanyu retained a legitimate identity on Celestial Dragon Planet, meaning he could return there in the future.

Lan Xuanyu took a shuttle back to his residence. Now, all they could do was wait for further news.

Having finally returned to a safe place, they naturally focused on cultivating. The Eternal Fruit had become a staple for their training, along with the Sea God Lake water they brought back.

What Lan Xuanyu didn’t expect was that this waiting period would last a full two days.

It wasn’t until two days later that Yan Xinghe summoned him to the meeting room again.

“Xuanyu, can you be sure that the identity you’re using on Celestial Dragon Planet can be maintained? If any of those god-level powerhouses return to Celestial Dragon Planet, is there a chance they could discover you?” Yan Xinghe asked directly.

Lan Xuanyu replied, “My identity should be secure. I can pretty much guarantee that even a Dragon wouldn't notice anything unless we were face-to-face.”

If this were his first time entering Celestial Dragon Planet, he wouldn’t be so confident. A Dragon was a god-level being, and Celestial Dragon Planet’s life source was certainly powerful—together, they could probably detect even the slightest disturbances on the planet, especially from outsiders. In that case, even the Treasure Seeking Beast’s shapeshifting ability might not help. But after the previous infiltration, things were different. With the beast’s mimicry and his own True Dragon aura, Celestial Dragon Planet wouldn’t reject them and would treat them as its own. As long as they avoided Dragon City, there shouldn't be major issues.

Besides, the internal conflict on Celestial Dragon Planet wasn’t going to be resolved anytime soon. Lan Xuanyu had heard just yesterday that a civil war had broken out—some warships were reportedly engaged in combat. Clearly, the Spaceborne Clan hadn’t been convinced, and internal strife had erupted.

Celestial Dragon Planet was undoubtedly overwhelmed dealing with this. Even with powerful Dragon Knights, the Spaceborne Clan was no pushover. In such chaos, who would pay attention to Lan Xuanyu and his group? They had no plans to go to Dragon City anytime soon and could continue operating in Fenglong City to gain further benefits. That was why Lan Xuanyu gave his assurance.

“Good, very good. The commander has already applied for your merits. This is a major accomplishment. The specific rewards will be issued after confirmation. Although the Federation can’t publicly commend you due to the need for secrecy, there’s no doubt that your contribution this time is no less significant than the previous Proto Dragon Crystal incident. Also, after discussion among the Federation’s high command and the military leadership, your academy has been notified—the Celestial Dragon Planet Infiltration Plan is now official. The Seventh Fleet will fully support your covert operations. Any resources you need, request them from the fleet—they will provide them in exchange for valuable intel. Also, your leave has been approved. You may return to the home planet temporarily, at your discretion, as long as it doesn't interfere with the infiltration mission.”

“Understood.” Lan Xuanyu had expected this outcome. Infiltrating Celestial Dragon Planet was far too important for the Douluo Federation—they wouldn’t pass up such an opportunity. The crystal and intelligence he brought back would definitely shift the balance in their standoff with the Dragon Horse Galaxy. The more you understand your enemy, the more advantageous your position in confrontation.

Lan Xuanyu and Yan Xinghe discussed more details, particularly the resources he would need from the Seventh Fleet. Then, Lan Xuanyu immediately set off, piloting the Thirty-Three Sky Wings warship with his companions back to the home planet.

Of course, not all members of the Thirty-Three Sky Wings were returning—only the seven of them.

To facilitate their departure, the Seventh Fleet even retreated slightly toward the Federation's territory. Only after they entered Federation airspace were they allowed to travel alone back to the home planet—showing just how highly the Federation valued them.

Lan Xuanyu hadn’t spent long in the Seventh Fleet, yet in that short time, he had achieved great merit twice. He planned to use this opportunity and the resources obtained to do something even more meaningful: fight for a place among the Shrek Seven Monsters—or at least lay the foundation for it.

Lan Xuanyu believed that while personal strength was vital in the competition for the Shrek Seven Monsters, contribution to the Federation and the academy mattered even more. In this regard, he was completely confident.

The Thirty-Three Sky Wings warship flew at full speed toward the home planet. Lan Xuanyu didn’t contact anyone on the way back. Now that the ship was registered on Celestial Dragon Planet, he couldn’t be sure the communication systems were safe. Everything would wait until they met in person.

The journey was smooth.

With Lan Xuanyu using a great amount of energy to assist the ship’s full-speed flight, it took them another seven days to finally return. The warship slowly landed at the Shrek Space Center. The familiar atmosphere once again filled the ship, making all seven of them feel as if their pores had opened in delight.

Though Celestial Dragon Planet had richer life energy, only Douluo Planet’s life force felt truly familiar and comforting to them. After disembarking, before they even left the space center, Lan Xuanyu’s soul communicator rang. He answered: “Dean Ying?”

“Lan Xuanyu, what’s going on with you? Did you desert from the Seventh Fleet?” Ying Luohong’s shocked voice came through the communicator.

Lan Xuanyu quickly explained: “Of course not, Dean. Don’t worry—I received special approval to return due to important matters to report to the academy. Dean Wang should already be aware of some of our situation. Could you please ask him to meet? I’d like to report in person.”

Ying Luohong had just received notice from the space center that the Thirty-Three Sky Wings warship had returned. She had been stunned. She knew well how serious desertion from the battlefield was.

“Alright, come back first. I’ll inform Teacher Wang.”

“The Dean must be freaking out, huh? Haha!” Qian Lei laughed.

Lan Xuanyu smiled too: “We’ve only been gone for less than two months, and we suddenly returned—she’s bound to be startled. But the infiltration of Celestial Dragon Planet, though known to the academy, probably only a few people are aware of, which shows its significance. Everything is going according to our plan. This time, we’ve got a lot to take care of!”
