"Bro, you shouldn't have quit. Your fifth album sold over ten million copies in a year, and the sixth would definitely have done even better. You could have made history, become a music legend, but you were just too lazy, and the legend vanished."

From the audience, Selena said, blinking her big eyes.

Next, they announced the Artist of the Year; nominees included Taylor, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Macklemore, and Ariana Grande.

The winner was Taylor.

"Taylor, that's amazing!"

Selena exclaimed excitedly.

Taylor, winning this award for the third time, was now quite composed. She hugged Selena, went up to accept her award and give her speech. Although only 24 years old, younger than many artists present, her experiences over these years transformed her from innocent girl to a strong, aloof woman.

The Best Single of the Year went to Florida Georgia Line featuring Nelly with "Cruise."

They continued with other music genre awards, with Justin Timberlake winning the Popular Pop/Rock Male Artist.

Selena Gomez won the Popular Pop/Rock Female Artist.

"Bro, if you hadn't announced your withdrawal from the awards, both of these would have been yours."

Selena murmured beside him.

Link clapped his hands, then paused and glanced at her quizzically, "Go accept your award, what are you whispering about?"

"Accept the award? Which one?"

Selena blinked her big eyes.

"Selena, congratulations, you've won."

Taylor said, hugging and smiling at Selena.

"What??"

Selena looked around, everyone was clapping, familiar faces were congratulating her.

"I won?"

Selena, still not fully comprehending, was pushed out of her seat by Taylor, her face blank as she walked up to the stage and took the trophy from Bruno Mars.

Holding the crystal trophy, it finally dawned on her, and before she could even start her acceptance speech, tears streamed down her face, as if she had been greatly wronged.

"That's too much, it's not the Oscars' Best Actress Award."

Link said, holding his forehead.

Taylor gave him a look and shouted loudly that Selena was the best.

The audience cheered and applauded in unison.

Selena finally calmed down and, choking up, delivered her acceptance speech. She started by thanking the American Music Awards, her fans, her colleagues at the company, and someone who helped write songs.

Then she mentioned feeling immense pressure, mainly because of an incredibly awesome brother. Ever since her debut, she lived in his shadow, never quite matching up despite all her efforts, always outshone by him at every award ceremony, while he collected many trophies and she none.

Hahaha!

The venue erupted in waves of laughter, as everyone turned to look at Link.

Selena sniffed and continued, saying she had never thought she would receive this award and was very excited. She expressed immense gratitude to the American Music Awards and the fans who supported her through voting, promising to work harder to surpass Link.

Clap clap clap!

While Selena was giving her acceptance speech, the audience clapped and laughed, teasing Link about how he felt right now.

Link, with a dark expression, remained silent.

Having finished her acceptance speech, Selena happily returned to her seat with the trophy, her round face beaming with joy.

"Taylor, Link, look, I have this trophy too."

Selena said with a joyful laugh.

"Selena, you are amazing, but be careful, your acceptance speech might have offended somebody."

Taylor glanced at Link with a smile.

"Uh, bro, if I say I was too excited and accidentally spoke my mind, I mean, misspoke, would you forgive me?"

Selena said with a sheepish grin.

Link lifted her hand to her thin ear, "What did you just say? Calling me a shadow? Are you sure about what you're saying? Ever since your debut, every album has songs written by me, and you dare call me a shadow, do you have a conscience?"

"Ah, I was wrong, I was just too excited and misspoke. I won't dare do it again, I promise!"

Selena said with pleading eyes.

Link, not wanting to be filmed and be misunderstood as bullying Selena, released her saying, "I'll allow you to redo your acceptance speech."

"Okay!"

Selena's eyes twinkled, and she immediately offered a fresh bout of flattering words, calling him the sun, the morning star, the guiding light, the most crucial person in her life, praising him as the coolest, most formidable, most talented... she praised him with hundreds of words in a row.

"Brother, is that okay?"

Selena sweetly asked.

"Before you go to bed every night, repeat these words in your mind three times, and you won't make the mistake next time."

Link said expressionlessly.

"Three times every day? You might as well kill me."

Selena's face fell and she leaned towards Taylor, "Link is bullying me."

"Never mind him, he's just a shadow, everyone's shadow, you shouldn't apologize to him."

Taylor said, embracing Selena.

"Uh-huh!"

Selena nodded, throwing Link a glance. When Link looked over, she quickly switched to a smiling face, showing a strong desire to survive.

The award ceremony on stage continued, with One Direction winning the most popular pop rock group and most popular pop rock album for "Take Me Home."

This British pop group consists of five members, debuted in 2010 through participating in the British talent show "The X Factor," quickly became a sensation in the UK, and was invited to perform their hit "What Makes You Beautiful" at the London Olympics closing ceremony while signing with Link Music for American representation.

They released two albums last year, both exceeding one million sales in the United States, becoming the hottest pop music group currently in the music industry.

In country music categories, Taylor won the most popular female singer award and the most popular country music album award.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won the most popular rap artist and most popular rap album awards.

Justin Timberlake and Rihanna respectively won the most popular R&B male and female singer awards.

Finally, Taylor also won the 'Pop Icon Award.'

Taylor, with four trophies, became the biggest winner at this year's American Music Awards.

After the American Music Awards, Link returned to the training ground and continued practicing boxing, preparing for next year's grand championship matches for the four major heavyweight titles.

He would then face real masters in the heavyweight division: 'The Bronze Bomber' Deontay Wilder, 'The Tiger' Tony Thompson, 'The Cobra' Kubrat Pulev, and Britain's Boxing Champion Tyson Fury.

Along with WBA Heavyweight Champion Alexander Povetkin, WBC World Boxing Champion Vitali Klitschko, and WBO-IBF World Boxing Champion Vladimir Klitschko.

These are all younger boxers than James Toney and Holyfield and are the core strength of the heavyweight division.

To take the four Golden Belts from them, Link still needs to fight fiercely.
