Chapter 200: Violet Warlord
Jiang Jianxin's breath steadied as she sat cross-legged, her six swords laid on her side, resting her overexerted Sword Will.
Once the [Energy Replenishing Candy] dissolved on her tongue, its subtle surge of spiritual energy knitted her frayed reserves back together.
She then flexed her injured shoulder. The ache from the Juggernaut's blow lingered. She pulled out a bandage – another store product that boasted of being able to soothe internal injury as long as it was wrapped where it was hurting.
She could tell it wasn't as popular as the other products due to its design. It was very colorful! It's unlike the normal cloth bandages that also exist in Lin Mo's previous world.
Little did anyone know, Jiang Jianxin picked it up not because of its practicality and usage. She also liked how colorful it was. Sword genius or not, she still has a womanly heart that can be fond of something she finds adorable.
After wrapping her shoulder with it, the aching caused by the blow instantly disappeared and she exhaled in relief.
The timer ticked down:
[Next Wave in: 8… 7… 6…]
Before standing up, she also opened a can of Peach Blossom Sparkle, rejuvenating her physical stamina.
With the [Spirit Embodiment Sticker Seal]'s fading, she prepared another one, ready to slap it on her body once the Floor Guardian appeared.
She glanced at the Store Beacon interface. Her total Dimension Essence sat at 910. Not enough for another high-value purchase, but sufficient to grab something useful if needed. The [Emergency Escape Talisman] remained her trump card, its presence a quiet reassurance against the looming Floor Guardian.
After three floors, the pattern of the tower had already solidified. Three waves of enemies, with the third wave being the Floor Guardian. And compared to the first two waves, the Floor Guardian would always be the pinnacle in terms of strength. The combined might of the first two waves was nowhere near it. It could face them on its own and win – just like the challenger.
With that, she had no more illusions about its difficulty.
[Next Wave in: 3… 2… 1…]
[Floor 3 Guardian: Violet Warlord]
The chamber shuddered violently, the violet crystals flaring with a blinding intensity. A massive fissure tore open the far wall, and from it emerged a towering figure, easily twice the height of the Juggernauts. Its armor was a deeper, richer purple, encrusted with jagged crystalline growths that pulsed with foreign energy. It wielded a massive double-headed axe, each blade pulsing with foreign energy.
In its right hand, it wielded a colossal glaive. Its blade was seemingly etched with natural inscriptions, while its left arm ended in a crystalline claw that crackled with arcs of violet lightning. The pressure mounted on her again with its presence. Peak Foundation Establishment Stage, bordering on something more, something that strained the tower's supposed limits.
The ground cracked beneath its weight as it stepped forward, its presence suffocating. Jiang Jianxin tightened her grip on her main sword as she channeled through her Sword Heart to steady her resolve.
"This is the limit of Foundation Establishment? No… I cannot just label this according to our realm's standards. That weapon too… Is it a high spirit-grade weapon?"
She glanced at her swords. All of them were spirit-grade swords, but not one could be considered high in quality. They are specifically forged by the sect's artificer, who specializes in swordsmithing for her [Flying Sword Technique].
Only her main sword, the one gifted to her by her master, can be considered to be a middle spirit-grade sword.
Jiang Jianxin gritted her teeth, understanding the challenge before her.
The Warlord raised his glaive, and the battle began.
Jiang Jianxin rose to her feet, her swords snapping into a Sword Formation. The one she used against the Ironclad Blood Sect Elder.
She was holding out on using it due to her training mindset. But not anymore. She wanted to see if she could defeat a strong opponent such as this Floor Guardian.
"Five Indomitable Sword Formation!"
Almost instantly, they stopped orbiting around her. They remained floating around her, their sharp tip pointed at her opponent, ready to disappear at any moment to execute a more methodical application of the Sword Formation.
The Violet Warlord's faceless helm tilted downward, locking onto her.
Without any preamble, it raised its glaive and swung, unleashing a crescent wave of violet energy that tore across the chamber. Jiang Jianxin leaped aside, her enhanced agility from the [Lesser Aura of Combat] giving her just enough edge to evade.
The wave crashed into the wall behind her, shattering a cluster of crystals into glittering dust.
Her swords darted forward, testing its defenses.
CLANG!
CLANG!
CLANG!!
Two slashed at its legs, aiming for the crystalline joints on one of its arms and knees, while a third arced toward its helm.
The Warlord reacted with startling speed, its claw snapping up to deflect the high strike with a burst of lightning while its glaive swept low, forcing her swords to retreat.
The impacts rang out like steel on stone. Its armor was denser, its energy reserves deeper than anything she'd faced so far.
"Not an easy target," she noted, her mind racing. The [Silent Moon Swordplay] flowed through her, guiding her next move.
She darted to its flank, her main sword in hand while her five floating swords disappeared like silver flashes, sending a flurry of attacks to its defenses.
The Warlord turned, its glaive slashing downward in a brutal arc. She parried with her main sword, the force driving her back several steps, her boots skidding across the stone floor as she coughed up blood from the impact.
But while she was groaning, the attack from her Sword Formation seized the opening.
Two pierced its side where the armor thinned, while the remaining three prevented its claw and glaive from deflecting and parrying.
Violet sparks erupted, followed by a delightful shattering sound as shards rained on the ground.
The Sword Fairy smirked, fighting spirit burning through her silver-lit eyes as she slapped another sticker seal on her body.
She can win. Even if she has to push herself to the limits. She will win. And she's entirely confident to do so.

Meanwhile, the thread dedicated to the Sword Fairy immediately reached the top as more and more users focused on it.
The thread poster was actively counting down the time since the Sword Fairy entered Floor 3.
While it could be off by a few seconds, everyone outside the Conduit Tower had their eyes locked on the interface, which indicated that there was still a challenger on Floor 3.
The cultivators of the Cerulean Cloud Sword Sect didn't bother anonymously posting a comment as they all cheered for her. Naturally, many followed suit as it could be a historical record of the Tower's Interface, just like Yu Qingyan's two First Clear records.
Speaking of Yu Qingyan, the Emissary of Verdant Sky Pavilion and the only Official Distributor of the Divine Convenience Store, clicked her tongue as she read Lin Mo's message.
Not that she didn't believe him but… owing her a favor? That's huge. Nonetheless, she convinced herself that she deserved it. Now, she had to think carefully about what kind of request she was going to raise to that enigmatic Shopkeeper.
"Senior Yu, are you also following the thread? More than twenty minutes had passed since the Sword Fairy climbed to Floor 3. Can she take the First Clear reward?" Little Spring, who had disappeared somewhere, ran back to the stall, bringing back the excitement that had been brewing all around them.
"It's the Sword Fairy. Of course, she'll be able to pass that. I won't be able to win against her even if I equip myself with the store's product." She put a hand on her hips as her vision zoomed into the tower doors, reading the tower's interface.
Once again, she felt like blaming Lin Mo for missing out on the opportunity to get Floor 3's First Clear.
Suddenly, a commotion started as a huge ship construct suddenly appeared above the skies of the Jade Hollow Plains.
Yu Qingyan had to bury her thoughts as she looked up, finding the insignia of the Southern Wu Kingdom flapping on the construct's flag.
The two Core Formation Stage experts watching the situation mid-air immediately rose to their feet, watching as a golden carpet rolled out from the side of the ship construct.
"How extravagant. The Crown Prince of the Kingdom really knows how to announce his presence." Yan Chen muttered under his breath, his tone laced with awe and mild irritation.
As one of the pillars of the Azure Gale Sect, he'd seen his share of grand entrances but the Southern Wu Kingdom's Crown Prince's royal flair always managed to stir the crowd.
The golden carpet unfurled fully, shimmering in the late afternoon sun as a figure stepped out onto it.
Clad in flowing robes of deep crimson and gold, the Crown Prince of Southern Wu exuded an aura of authority tempered with youthful confidence.
His cultivation radiated at the peak of Foundation Establishment, though the artifacts adorning his wrists and neck hinted at resources far beyond what most challengers could muster.
Behind him, a retinue of guards and advisors followed, their presence amplifying the spectacle.
What do you think?
