As the gunsmoke cleared, a girl appeared there. She was a beautiful girl in a one-piece dress mainly red and black, with her hair tied into uneven pigtails on either side. Her left eye was obscured by her bangs, revealing only the faint smile in her bright red right eye.

“I really didn’t expect you to discover my presence. I thought I could rest for a while longer, but since you’re here, there’s nothing more to say.”

As she spoke, the girl raised both hands, holding two old-fashioned firearms adorned with ornate decorations. Seeing the girl’s movements, the magicians flying in the sky quickly took action, launching another attack on the girl. In response, the girl shot back while swiftly fleeing toward the street next to her. From her effortless demeanor, it was clear that these magicians were not causing her any harm.

That was to be expected, though; while magicians possess strength beyond ordinary people, elves are non-human beings. It’s like sub-dragons and giant dragons; both might be able to instantly kill a human, but that doesn’t mean they are evenly matched.
