Deviant: No Longer Human

Chapter 672: Teaching a Lesson!

Half an hour later…

Screech!

Luo Yang slammed the brakes, his knuckles whitening on the steering wheel. Why the fuck were they parking here?

They could've gone straight to the terminal. With Xue Hanqin in the car, airport security would've spread their legs and begged them to park inside the goddamn lobby if needed.

But no. Wang Xiao had waved him off, all casual. "No red stickers. Too much trouble."

Xue Hanqin arched a brow, fighting the urge to laugh in his face.

The last time she saw him, he had parked right at the fucking entrance like he owned the place. Now suddenly, he was worried about stickers?

Liar.

She didn't call him out, though. Just smiled like a bored queen watching peasants grovel.

And then—

Riiing.

A sharp tone echoed through the silence. Wang Xiao's phone.

He picked it up. Expression darkened instantly.

"Who?"

His voice? The perfect mix of "I'm a calm and reasonable man" and "One more word and I'll kill your entire fucking bloodline."

Luo Yang turned instinctively, his curiosity tripping over itself.

Wang Xiao stared at his phone, clicked his tongue, and then, with a slow, deliberate movement, handed it over.

"It's yours."

"???" Luo Yang blinked. Mine?

He looked at the number—unknown. Suspicious. His gut twisted.

Still, he answered.

Three words in, his face darkened like a thunderstorm.

Four more? Boom. Suddenly, he was smiling like an idiot who just hit the jackpot.

"Ruoruo! Stay here! I'll be back in a few minutes! If I don't come back, go alone!"

"Hm?" Xue Ruoling frowned, her perfectly groomed brows scrunching.

"Brother Wang, I'll be borrowing this for a sec."

Didn't even wait for a reply. Didn't hesitate. The man sprinted off like a debt collector had just called to say his loan got forgiven.

Wang Xiao shook his head, lips curling into a mocking smirk.

What did he do?

Oh, nothing.

Just had someone pretend to be the Eighth Prince and demand to speak to Luo Yang.

The poor fucker must've pissed himself. But then? Then the fake prince hit him with—

"His Highness wishes to meet you. Follow the directions immediately."

And just like that, Luo Yang bolted.

Left his girlfriend alone in a dark parking lot like some disposable side character.

"...You—What are you doing?!"

The second Luo Yang was out of sight, Wang Xiao turned. His hand?

Casually placed over Xue Ruoling's thighs.

Not in a "coincidental" way. Not in an "Oops, my bad."

No.

It was deliberate. Heavy. Claiming.

Xue Ruoling's entire body tensed. A single sharp inhale slipped past her lips. She looked to Xue Hanqin for help—her expression screaming, Aunt do something!

But Xue Hanqin? That damn woman?

She smiled. She turned her gaze to the window.

She did nothing.

Not stepping out. Not interfering. Just sitting there like a spectator watching a stage play with premium front-row seats.

Clever woman.

Wang Xiao's smile deepened. Not just charming—this one had a functioning brain.

Meanwhile, Xue Ruoling? Her pulse quickened. Something wasn't right.

This Wang Xiao—he was dangerous.

She needed to leave.

Her fingers twitched toward the door handle.

Click!

She had been born into wealth. Raised above the common world, floating in luxury, untouchable. Men threw themselves at her feet. Power? Status? She had everything.

If she had cared about social climbing, she wouldn't have chosen Luo Yang—some bottom-feeding peasent far below her.

Her fingers curled slightly, her breath steady—but her pulse? It had picked up, just a little. Something wasn't right.

This Wang Xiao—he wasn't someone she should be in a car with.

She needed to leave.

Her hand moved toward the door handle.

Click!

She froze.

Locked.

She pulled it again, a touch more forcefully. Still locked. A quiet sigh escaped her lips. Of course. Her voice was calm, even. "Unlock the door."

Wang Xiao didn't react.

"I said, unlock the door."

Nothing.

She exhaled slowly. Fine. No need to escalate.

Her fingers brushed against her phone. A call, then. Except—

Snatch!

Gone.

Her eyes flicked up. Wang Xiao was leaning back, twirling the phone between his fingers, his posture utterly relaxed.

"Give it back."

She reached for it—

Smack.

Her hand stung.

It wasn't forceful, wasn't aggressive, but it was deliberate. A warning.

Xue Ruoling's lips pressed together as she inhaled slowly, her tone steady. "Give it back. I need to make a call."

Wang Xiao tilted his head, a smile playing on his lips. "Why so impatient?"

Her teeth clenched slightly, and she exhaled, sinking back against the seat as she finally acknowledged the situation wasn't in her favor. Her fingers twitched subtly in her lap, her gaze lowered, as if weighing her options.

She bit her lip, the unease that had been creeping in from the start tightening its grip around her. It wasn't panic yet—but it was something close.

And then—

He tossed the phone.

Not to her.

To Xue Hanqin.

"Here. Hold this."

Ruoling's expression remained calm, but a flicker of something sharp passed through her eyes.

Xue Hanqin caught it, her lips twitching, glancing first at Wang Xiao, then at Ruoling.

Ruoling turned to her, voice controlled but laced with expectation. "Aunt?"

Xue Hanqin exhaled, a quiet sigh that carried a hint of amusement, as if this was an inconvenient but inevitable conclusion. And then she smiled, "Ruoruo, Aunt can't help you today."

Xue Ruoling stilled.

She wasn't a fool.

And this?

This was not a good situation.

"Aunt, did you collide with him? What do you two want to do?" She bit her lip and forced herself to confront them.

Wang Xiao was also surprised by Xue Hanqin's actions, but he confirmed something—and his smile grew even creepier. Since this woman already knew, there was no need to hold back.

He turned around and grabbed Xue Ruoling's soft hands. "Ruoruo, was it? As long as you do what I say, I'll let you go."

"Huh?" Xue Ruoling was stunned. "Let go of my hands!" she demanded, trying to pull away, bitterness and anger surging through her. What was going on!?

Wang Xiao sneered. This woman really wanted to pretend? He didn't have much time for this.

He grabbed the back of her neck. A sharp pain shot through her, and her eyes teared up. "Listen to me quietly, girl, or I won't hesitate to turn you into a vegetable."

"You—LUO YANG!" Realizing the situation was even worse than she had thought, Xue Ruoling couldn't help but scream for help.

But Wang Xiao! Haha! He looked at her waist, her face, her neck—he didn't care. He yanked down his pants and shoved her head down.

Xue Ruoling nearly had a heart attack. She gagged, her stomach twisting in revulsion, as she saw his thing spring out directly in front of her face. She was utterly confused.

"You—!"

She jerked back, her body reacting on instinct, hands flying up to shove him away—but Wang Xiao was faster.

A rough grab, a sharp yank—and suddenly, her scalp burned as he fisted her hair, dragging her forward.

"LET GO OF ME, YOU BASTARd! LUO YANG WOULD KILL YOU!" She thrashed, nails clawing at his wrist, legs kicking, her whole body twisting like a trapped animal.

But Wang Xiao? He sneered. Luo Yang? Kill him?

That idiot was probably grinning ear to ear, thinking he was about to meet Eight Prince, when in reality, he had just been played like a cheap flute.

And here?

Here, Wang Xiao would teach his girlfriend a lesson.

He didn't even flinch.
