The tyrant locusts evolved into two distinct branches.

One was led by the Locust Awakened, a group with self-control that could integrate into Yao Clan civilization and were willing to accept restrictions and protection.

The other remained at the old imperial ruins, where constant hunting and devouring each other led to the emergence of a new, more ferocious species.

Lu Yao used "Rule Repair" to rename them, dubbing them "Slaughter Locusts."

Slaughter Locusts were more aggressive than the tyrant locusts, with higher combat stats. Unable to cross the Blackwater Mire border, they would hibernate to slow down consumption when hungry.

At the slightest disturbance outside, they would awaken from beneath the soil, ready to hunt.

Beneath the ground surrounding Crystal City lay many slumbering Slaughter Locusts.

They were relatively scattered to avoid unnecessary internal consumption.

Now, one end of the Wuzi Kingdom connected to the Yao Clan world, while the other led to the realm of God Bo, making this hilly kingdom a buffer zone.

After observing, Lu Yao decided to gradually open up, allowing the Yao Clan and Transcendents to enter the God Bo realm.

With Crystal City at its core, the surrounding area still retained the civilization left by the former empire, including buildings, tools, technology, culture, and more. It would be a waste to let it all fall into disuse.

This place had become a natural adventure zone.

Martial cultivators and other Transcendents came here to train and challenge themselves, with the hidden Slaughter Locusts serving as their whetstones and prey.

After Lu Yao opened the passage, Yao City and Salt City dispatched a joint team.

Led by Salt Long, the team consisted of seven martial cultivators, five sandworms, and two Frenzied Flame Birds to ensure the safety of the expedition.
