I am evan, I used to live with my family in an altar city which name is moon city and city altar is level 3 but it is attack by monster and its altar destroyed and most of its people killed by monster, some fled, to find another altar city to live.

Ash asked how can you fled from city?

Evan said citizen of altar can fled if its altar is destroyed or altar owner is not capable for securing loyalty and protecting of normal citizen.

 Ash asked, can altar’s owner flee? 

Evan said " no " generally altar owner can flee but they will die if altar destroyed, so

no altar owner can flee mostly, they can only fight to death if they want to survive.

Ash asked, so how can citizen fled without altar owner permission, Evan said, actually they fled without getting permission but citizen only fled if living there actually mean death such as monster invasion that will possibly destroy altar, and if altar owner is killing people and it’s wanted to kill you or possibly you committed a crime so you want to fled and some people flee because they are trying to find more opportunity in another altar city. 

And, any people without protection of altar, they have to find protection otherwise they will become monster in 6 months, without having any special treasure to protect itself.

Ash asked " how people lost altar protection ",

Evan said " when the altar protects you, it got destroyed or generally altar owner decides who to give protection of altar who it does not want to give.

so,

Ash thought altar owner have collective power to this who will live in this who will died or become monster not bad, I guess.

Ash asked Evan, are you really want to protected by new altar.

Evan said yes, ash asked "why ", Evan said because I am level 0 and no territory will accept me easily without harsh requirement or maybe they used me as a cannon fodder without appropriate compensation.

Ash asked "what about me " 

Evan said " no you will not use me as a cannon fodder without appropriate compensation because you also need trustworthy people to grow stronger and to grow your city altar to protect yourself.

and you seem smart from your question after all, if you used me as a cannon fodder without compensation, I can try another altar too
