Alex stood at the entrance of another berserk dungeon, his heterocromia eyes gleaming in the dim glow of the ominous cave ahead.

This dungeon was known as "The Black Maw," an infamous abyss where countless adventurers and mercenaries had perished, their souls forever trapped in its depths.

A perfect place to harvest more shadows.

The air was thick with malice, the very walls of the cavern pulsing as if alive. The energy here was far more dense than the previous dungeon, meaning the creatures inside would be stronger—far stronger.

Alex smirked.

Good.

With a wave of his hand, Alex summoned his shadow army from the abyss.

The Abyssal Titan emerged first, its glowing red eyes staring lifelessly ahead, its colossal form radiating raw strength.

Then came the Nightmare Chimera, its three monstrous heads releasing low growls that reverberated through the dungeon walls.

The Abyssal Wraith materialized next, an ethereal being wrapped in swirling black mist, its presence sending a chill through the cavern.

And finally, the Abyssal Tyrant, the latest addition to his army, loomed behind him, its power undeniable.

This was just the beginning.

Not long after stepping into the dungeon, the ground beneath him shuddered.

From the shadows, a dozen monstrous creatures lunged forward—The Hounds of Ruin.

Each one was a towering beast of muscle and shadow, their bodies covered in jagged obsidian plates, their glowing red maws dripping with corrosive saliva.

They were fast—far faster than ordinary dungeon monsters.

But Alex was faster.

"Kill them."

The command was simple.

The Abyssal Titan moved first, its massive fist coming down like a meteor, shattering two hounds instantly.

The Chimera struck next, its serpent tail lashing out, piercing the skull of another beast.

The Wraith flickered through the battlefield, slicing through the hounds like a phantom.

Within moments, the ground was littered with corpses.

Alex raised a hand.

The fallen beasts twitched, their bodies dissolving into inky black mist, coiling around Alex's feet before merging into the abyss beneath him.

A second later, they rose again—reborn as his shadows.

Their crimson eyes now gleamed with submission.

Alex grinned.

The deeper he ventured, the stronger the monsters became.

The Black Maw was a cursed place, filled with the remnants of ancient horrors—creatures forgotten by time.

Each battle pushed his limits.

Each enemy he slew became his.

Within hours, he had added dozens of new shadows to his army—Winged Reapers, Bone Drakes, and even an Abyssal Hydra whose nine severed heads had regenerated after falling to his spear.

But Alex knew—this dungeon's true master still awaited.

At the lowest depths of the dungeon, hidden within the heart of the abyss, lay the final guardian.

As Alex stepped into the final chamber, the temperature dropped drastically.

The walls, previously rough and jagged, smoothed into something unnatural.

Then, the darkness moved.

From the very shadows, a colossal figure emerged—a towering entity wrapped in a cloak of writhing darkness.

Its four arms ended in jagged, scythe-like claws that gleamed with an eerie purple light.

Its face was featureless, save for three vertical slits of violet fire, its eyes burning with malice.

This was the Abyss Reaver—a being that had once terrorized an entire continent before being sealed in this dungeon.

Now, Alex had come to claim it.

The Reaver's voice echoed like a thousand whispers overlapping.

"You… are unworthy."

"Same monologue. Well, it wouldn't be fun otherwise." Alex smirked, twirling his spear.

"Let's dance."

The Abyss Reaver struck first.

Moving faster than its size suggested, it lashed out with its scythes, sending waves of destructive energy across the battlefield.

Alex dodged, twisting midair before countering with a lightning-fast thrust of Silveria.

Clang!

The spear connected—but the Reaver barely flinched.

Then it retaliated.

One scythe carved a massive gash in the ground where Alex had been standing a second ago.

Another came down in a brutal arc, aimed straight for his skull—

Only to be blocked.

The Abyssal Titan intercepted, its massive arms catching the scythe in mid-swing.

The battlefield erupted as Alex's entire Shadow Army engaged the Reaver.

The Chimera tore at its legs, the Wraith slashed through its defenses, the Hydra's multiple heads clamped onto its arms, restraining its movement.

The Reaver howled, its body pulsing with malevolent energy, sending shockwaves that sent weaker shadows flying.

But Alex never stopped moving.

Silveria sang through the air, each thrust aiming for the gaps in the Reaver's shifting form.

"You're strong," Alex admitted, grinning despite the chaos. "But you're mine."

As if on cue, his entire army synchronized their attacks.

The Titan's colossal fist smashed into the Reaver's chest.

The Chimera's serpent tail injected paralyzing venom.

The Hydra's heads ripped into its torso, tearing at the energy holding it together.

Alex saw his moment.

He leaped high, Silveria glowing with dark crimson light, its power reaching its peak.

"Die."

With a single, devastating thrust, he impaled the Reaver through its core.

The massive creature let out an unearthly screech as its body convulsed violently.

Then—silence.

The Abyss Reaver collapsed.

And Alex smiled.

As the Reaver's massive form faded into darkness, Alex raised a hand.

[Shadow Summons: Activate]

The abyss responded.

The shadows swirled, enveloping the fallen titan.

Then, two piercing violet eyes flickered back into existence.

The Abyss Reaver knelt.

It was no longer an ancient terror.

Now—it was Alex's most powerful shadow.

And he was just getting started.

His level rose again as his shadow army kept increasing.
