Chapter 22: 22. Cohabitation, not within the contract Chapter 22: 22. Cohabitation, not within the contract Editor: Henyee Translations After silently looking at each other for a few seconds, and just as Song Qinghuan was about to assume that this man was ready to hit her, Yihan softly uttered two words: “Get out!”

The aura of fear masked with courage caused the man to hold a cold, slightly twisted smile on his lips.

He casually placed the divorce agreement on top of the document, promptly opened the car door and got out.

Inside the civil affairs office, he suddenly stopped, turned around and looked at Song Qinghuan behind him. His devilishly deep eyes half-lidded, and his thin, rosy lips curved into a lazy smirk, “Hand me your household registration book,” he requested.

His expression was slightly softer than his previous cold demeanor.

Song Qinghuan opened her bag and passed him the book, with indignation bubbling in her heart: ‘Sure knows how to act, turning off his icy killer look when coming here to get married.’
There were quite a few people at the civil affairs office today, but Yihan and Song Qinghuan entered the pre-arranged VIP room.

They didn’t even have to fill in the forms themselves. They simply handed in their household registration books, took a photo, signed their names, and every other tedious task like filling forms and making copies were taken care of by the staff.

After stamping the marriage certificates, just as Song Qinghuan reached out to take her red book, Yihan beat her to it and snatched it away.

She puzzledly looked at Yihan, not understanding the sudden move.

“I’ll keep the marriage certificate,” Yihan said coldly.

“Fine, keep it. I never did accept this thing anyway,” Song Qinghuan protested, glaring at him and ignoring the surprised looks of the clerks. Then she asked, “When can I start working?”

“Tomorrow,” Yihan said, elegantly standing, gracefully striding towards the exit of the civil affairs office.

Song Qinghuan immediately followed him, asking behind his back, “What documents do I need to prepare for the entry procedures?”

“None, just report to the HR department at 9 in the morning,” Yihan replied and suddenly stopped walking.

He turned his head towards Song Qinghuan, pursed his lips coldly and handed her a card, “Pack your stuff and move. From tomorrow on, you’re living here.”

Song Qinghuan froze, “Is that your home?”

Yihan: “Yes!”

Song Qinghuan was dumbfounded, her hand hanging by her side, clenched into a fist, “I have to move in and live with you? I thought we agreed to have a marriage in name only?”

Yihan deeply looked at her, took two steps forward, gently brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and whispered into it, “With your unappealing face and body shape like a monkey and a duck, even if you stood naked in front of me, you would hold no attraction for me whatsoever!”
