Dark Magus Returns

The battlefield had started to turn quiet. With the countless amount of fighting that had taken place, Raze's allies, all of those that had taken up arms to fight alongside the Dark Magus, they had managed to defeat the Enaxxs that were spread through the battlefield.

Due to Enaxx himself attacking indiscriminately, it meant that even the Light Faction warriors, those from the Empire, were trying to take him down which led to a sudden cooperation in taking the mages down.

This had bridged the gap even more, so when they heard the news from other members of the Light Faction, that the fighting should cease it was easier for them.

They didn't want to harm those that they had just fought side by side with, and so the battle had come to an end, with a clear victor in sight. The issue was what was to happen now?

The goal of attacking the Light Faction, was it land, territory, revenge? Would the Dark and Demonic Faction now split things up. They didn't really know what was to happen.

They had come, following a particular man's order, the Dark Magus's, but where was he, who was he to settle this issue with. While the members treated those that were injured.

Collecting the bodies of those that perished, the rest turned to bear witness to the fight that was still taking place. It was close to the back of the battlefield, where they had originally started.

The area was covered in darkness, but it wasn't a dome of darkness, when looking they could see the individuals that were fighting, almost as if they were watching a moving painting.

"Raze…you're going to be okay, right?" Safa asked. She didn't want to move in close, afraid that she would be a distraction, but she was unable to see how hurt he was.

She was afraid that he was pushing himself, and able to due to the helmet that lied on top of his head.

What she didn't know was Raze was struggling, but not in the way she thought. Raze's special eighth formation was still taking energy from Enaxx.

In fact, Raze had pretty much overwhelmed Enaxx in every way, but he couldn't deal a final blow. Using his techniques, using his Qi and lightning magic, he was meeting Enaxx everywhere he moved.

Each time he would appear behind him, or in front of him and slash him with powerful attacks. These attacks would have been enough to kill any mage, any mage but Enaxx.

Each time a fatal blow was delivered, it was as if Enaxx was able to clone his body at that exact moment. Splitting away, avoiding the strike altogether and moving.

Raze had tried to follow up with quick attacks, but Enaxx was on full escaping mode.

Due to this, Raze was unable to produce a large attack that might consume all of Enaxx's body even if he cloned himself. He was having a hard time keeping him contained in the fight.

"Is this really how you are going to act Enaxx!" Raze shouted as he moved and slashed Enaxx and then saw him run away using his fire powers again. "Aren't you one of the Grand Magus, didn't you have so much confidence before, where has all of that gone?"

Enaxx didn't reply, he couldn't, he was too busy trying to run for his life.

"You followed all of their orders like dogs, I bet it was even them that forced you to come here right?" Raze shouted. "But…even if, I'm sure it was your own decision to do the things you did. To get rid of Jake, and his entire family.

"For that, I will be glad to send you to the otherside with my own two hands!" Raze claimed. "And don't worry, you won't be alone, because I will be coming for the others next!"

A powerful strike from the top occurred again, but Enaxx was seen splitting apart. When the Enaxx rushed off frustrated, Raze didn't chase with his sword but fired a dark pulse with his magic.

It hit the back of the Enaxx but he split again. This time, Raze was too far to run right after him, as Enaxx was moving far away. His heart sank, was Enaxx going to get away again.

However, there was a person that stood in front of the flaming elemental of Enaxx's body. A crystallized figure, it grew in size and attached itself around Enaxx, right after that, it started to grow around his entire body covering him completely.

Enaxx could be seen still using his heat magic, and from the look on Murkel's face, it was hurting him. Although he was using the red crystallization it was still a part of his body.

And he wasn't sure how long he could hold on.

"Kill this guy!" Murkel shouted. "We can't let him escape, not after everything he has done!"

For a moment Raze hesitated, he wondered if it was a trap. Because in order to attack Enaxx in such a way, it would mean that both of them were to be killed.

"Don't think….it's just I decided that I want this man dead…more than I want myself alive…he killed my family as well. A Pagna warrior always expects death…and at least this way its peaceful….I realized, I was meant to die in your hands that day anyway."

Murkel didn't have to say it twice. Raze wasn't going to let Enaxx go. Quickly Raze stomped his foot on the ground, and prepared himself as he went through all of the descending steps.

He built up, Qi after Qi with each of the steps, and then with his sword encased in magic as the whole area started to shake with power, he swung his sword down performing the eclipse strike.

A giant wave emitted from the sword, and it covered everything destroying all of it in its path heading straight for Murkle and Enaxx.

"Maybe the Dark Faction in your hands, is not so bad, Dark Magus," Murkel thought to himself as he smiled.

Enaxx looked at the dark magic coming right before his eyes, and the memories of everything he had done, everything he had been through flashed before his eyes.

'So this…is what they all felt.'
