Her face turning even redder, Diana kicked the barrier in frustration. The barrier wobbled gently, absorbing the impact like jelly before restoring itself.

To cover up her obvious fluster, Diana yelled defiantly at the statue.

'Right… there’s no way Diana would fall for something like that.'

I had honestly been worried she might make the wrong choice, but her calm demeanor now allowed me to breathe a sigh of relief.
