Chapter 401 – Back to ‘Home’ and Grandmaster
Aiko nudged Mei.
"It's because of your chaotic nature." Mei wanted to shove her troubles away, but she endured it. It was not Aiko's fault... well... it was her fault, but Mei didn't want to see it that way.
"Sorry." Aiko planted a discreet kiss on Mei's defenceless neck.
"Stop it." Even as Mei said that, she didn't feel unhappy. This gentle Aiko was much better than the forceful one.
'Oh...' Mei suddenly realised that... that might've been the reason, why Moon Aiko called her a bully.
'But I don't like losing control.' Mei clicked her tongue as her thoughts drifted away from worries.
"When will we arrive in the Fox Village?" Aiko suddenly asked.
"Within a week." Mei answered slowly. "I pressed them a bit, plus there seem to be issues with the Secret Realm, so they have to report that too." She chuckled sinisterly.
Mei made sure that it would be difficult to regrow that hair and fur, so they were pretty much furless Foxes now.
She felt happy whenever she thought about that.
"Okay, should I start my blueprints now, or do I have some kind of work?" Aiko asked Mei.
Mei felt suspicious about Aiko, since she was too cooperative and kind.
"Not really. The Demonic Foxes need to learn to control their Divine Sense, so just keep your wolf out and let them play with it." Mei gestured.
"Okay." Aiko nodded. That was not a problem for her, since she didn't feel tired, and it even seemed like her Divine Sense improved!
'Should I go and sleep some more?' Aiko narrowed her eyes. Because of her Skill, she was able to keep Divine Sense activated and because the Demonic Foxes 'fought' against it... you get the idea.
Aiko sleep = Aiko getting stronger...
If other Foxes heard this, they would be absolutely outraged!
Of course, Aiko had no intention of telling anyone about this, since she didn't need more trouble than she already had.
'I will work on those blueprints...' Aiko smiled, and the Twins joined her.
This time, they weren't sensual and teasing. They just watched as Aiko's hand darted across a simple wooden board, creating an elaborate blueprint for a new Massage Chair N.134.
Aiko had to throw a lot of iteration out of the window, since it would not fit all Foxes. She had to make special adjustments that would allow her to activate only certain parts of the Massage Chair.
This took a lot of time, since Foxes had different builds depending on their profession.
Sex Foxes were the easiest since they had similar/same builds, but the Muscle Foxes and Hunter Foxes had very different builds, so Aiko had to accommodate them.
There were also neet Foxes that occasionally came to her business, and they were like shrivelled sticks. Yep... more adjustments for our poor Aiko.
...
A week passed like a flowing river. They were almost landing when Aiko took her Tails and started to shove the Demonic Foxes inside.
"You got a lot of food and everything, but it should not take THAT long for me to get you out, but just in case." Aiko explained as she kept shoving those Demonic Foxes inside.
Her own group looked at it from the side with speechless expressions.
They understood that Aiko had special tails, but they didn't think they were THAT special.
Mei could only watch speechlessly as everyone, including Feifei, disappeared from their sight, and not even their residual energy was left behind!
Mei shook her head before standing up.
"We didn't win anything in the normal Tournament, so a lot of Elders would try to scold them. Unfortunately, they can't go against us, since we won plenty." Mei chuckled.
"Even if they are quite a lot of low-level things?" Aiko tilted her head.
"Because there is so much of it, it's no longer 'low level'." Mei giggled. Everything in big quantities was worth a lot of money, but most would be unable to gather that much of it.
Of course, Mei and her group were different as everyone had their own occupation, which could bring a lot of money.
Even the Blood Fox and Twins.
The Blood Fox was a great scammer, while the Twins were good fighters. They would be able to hunt Beasts, while the Blood Fox would sell the Beast Cores for ridiculous, but still within limits, prices.
This made Mei happy, since she had enough wealth to play around with Herbs and Pills, making even more money.
'The real deal would be once we can enter the Auctions~' Mei would be able to get a ridiculous amount of Spirit Stones from that.
Some would even exchange Herbs for her Pills, constantly feeding the never-ending Pill Refining.
Mei chuckled as they arrived on the deck.
There were a lot of eyes on them. Most of them were envious, but with enough fear that they wouldn't dare to approach them.
There was also a certain upset Fox down on the ground, grinding her teeth, but everyone ignored her...
Aiko and her group walked down, ignoring everyone and slowly walking towards the Grandmaster's abode.
Everyone was speechless by their conduct, but nobody dared to interrupt them since the Sect Leader ordered them sternly.
The Sect Leader already knew that the Jade Fox acquired a lot of useful Pills, so she wanted to please her in order to ease her bargaining.
Mei was satisfied with this, and they immediately visited their business.
...
"Finally back?" Dai Lu chuckled.
"That appears to be the case." Mei chuckled back. "How was business?"
"A lot of thieves deserving spanking, other than that..." Dai Lu sighed. "Almost all of the Massage Chairs broke. Some Elders even came with the excuse that they want to repair it." It seemed like even the Grandmaster had a hard time.
"But all of them were rejected." Mei giggled.
"Obviously. No way will I allow them to steal Aiko's inventions." Dai Lu frowned.
She looked a lot healthier than before. Her eyes were no longer as sunken as before. Her skin was of a healthier shade, and her nails were back to normal colours.
"You look good." Mei commented.
"Thanks to you." Dai Lu laughed happily.
'I might be able to do something about the rest of your body later.' Mei sent a telepathic message to Dai Lu, since she knew there were a lot of ears around here.
'That quickly? I thought it would take at least a few more decades?' Dai Lu raised her eyebrow.
'I wouldn't be Immortal if it took that long.' Mei rolled her eyes.
'True.' Dai Lu nodded. 'I heard you made quite the mess.' She chuckled.
Mei shrugged, and Dai Lu invited them inside.
...
Dai Lu set up a simple Array to block outside eyes, while ears were handled by Mei.
'I still need a more powerful Beast Core to accommodate more functions into the Array.' She clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction.
"You got even more powerful..." Dai Lu was speechless, but she noticed that everyone except the Blood Fox became abnormal.
"So you really did Evolve inside the Secret Realm..." Dai Lu was speechlessly shaking her head, but deep inside, she was happy that those shitty Humans suffered.
"What can I say? We got lucky." Mei teased her.
"Don't be so inviting, or you will one day wake up with an additional person on the bed in the morning." Dai Lu would not take teasing lying down.
Mei laughed, and so did she.
Aiko looked at their exchange and suddenly asked. "Do you know how to fight with a sling?"
Dai Lu stiffened and looked speechlessly at Aiko. She then looked at Mei, but she just shrugged again.
'I can't believe she chose THAT kind of weapon.' Dai Lu suddenly paused. 'No, with her chaotic nature, it's possible...' She clicked her tongue.
"I know some things, but it's not much different from hand throwing. You need to understand what gives it strength and act accordingly." Dai Lu explained.
"I can also imbue it with Qi." Aiko added another bombshell.
Dai Lu's body visibly twitched, but soon, she gave up thinking about it.
"I will help you practice later." Dai Lu sighed.
"Thank you~!" Aiko hummed happily.
"Why didn't she choose at least a bow?" Dai Lu groaned.
"Because she likes to throw head bombs around." Mei shrugged.
"What? You mean those special cannonballs from the Empire on the mainland?" Dai Lu blinked like she couldn't believe it.
"No, no. Head bombs. They are packed with so much Qi that it easily surpasses the common reason." Mei smiled at the fact that she was not the only one with a headache.
"What a scary Fox." Dai Lu shook her head.
Unfortunately, Dai Lu had much higher resistance to chaos than her, so she was almost completely fine.
Mei's lips twitched, but she didn't comment anything any more.
"I felt some kind of strange energy?" Dai Lu pointed at Aiko's tails.
"Whoa, you are good." Mei smiled. She wondered what kind of energy it was.
"No, it might be close to a Law?" Dai Lu experienced Law once during her battles, and that experience stuck with her. That experience was a complete bloodbath...
Mei stiffened. There was no way that Aiko already controlled Laws! Even Immortals had problems controlling them!
'Damned system!' Mei cursed, but she couldn't bring herself to not use it, since it was way too useful...
"Well, whatever it is, it's very stable, so we don't have to worry... about... it...?" Dai Lu was looking at Aiko speechlessly.
Why, you might ask? Aiko was taking one Demonic Fox after another out of her Tails. This place was safe, and she didn't want to keep them inside.
"Grandmaster~!" Feifei happily ran towards the stunned Grandmaster, but stopped when she felt that bloodlust ooze from her body.
"Those bastards." Dai Lu had her whole arm covered with veins because of how much she flexed her body.
"So they were reported as missing, huh?" Mei had her suspicions, but she didn't say them out loud before.
"I will break their fucking spines." Even Dai Lu's kind face turned demonic as she exuded an aura of murder.
"It's fine. The plan is progressing well, so they won't be able to announce more 'missing' Foxes." Mei shook her head gently.
Dai Lu clicked her tongue, and she gently caressed Feifei's head. "I can't believe they would do that." She was obviously livid about this.
"We will deal with them when the timing is right." Mei smiled darkly.
"Good, I will try my best and wait." Dai Lu clicked her tongue in displeasure.
"Grandmaster." All the Demonic Foxes greeted the Grandmaster respectfully.
"My god..." Dai Lu's face twitched again. "It's spreading..."
She looked towards Aiko. "Do you plan to build an army or something...?" She was looking at Aiko speechlessly.
"They are too weak." Aiko proclaimed.
"That's not-" Dai Lu sighed as Mei patted her shoulder.
'Now you know my pain.' Mei smiled happily.
"What will you do with them?" Dai Lu narrowed her eyes dangerously. She would severely scold Aiko if she didn't have a proper plan.
"Raise their strength, I suppose... so they can help me rob the Secret Realms." Aiko smirked mischievously.
Dai Lu paused for a moment, and then she completely froze.
'Does that mean she can transport others into the Secret Realm through her Tails?! Isn't that a bit unfair?!' Dai Lu's eyes shook as she realised that as long as Aiko was chosen for a Secret Realm... an army would follow her inside.
A shiver went down her spine, and she was now happy that Aiko was not of the same generation she was...
What do you think?
