Chapter 372 – Another Interruption!
After basking in that view, Aiko sat down between the Blood Fox and Mei.
There was a strange sense of tension between them, but Aiko ignored it. She was not in the mood to disassemble things, much less to think about it.
They sipped tea in harmony when Aiko felt a hand on her thigh.
It was no other than Mei smiling from ear to ear, conversing with Ming Xiuying whilst being mischievous with Aiko.
Aiko ignored it for a moment, since nothing bad was happening.
She sipped her tea slowly when her body flinched.
Mei discreetly used her nails to gently caress Aiko's thigh.
A shiver went down Aiko's back and a light blush adorned her face, however, she still chose to ignore it. It didn't feel all that bad and Mei would definitely not go too far, since everyone was present.
Everyone except Jun, that Lion for some reason disappeared and Aiko didn't even notice when that happened.
Mei kept caressing Aiko, who didn't protest at all, so Mei soon gently pinched her thigh, closer to her hips.
Aiko gave a more lively reaction and her legs squirmed.
Mei chuckled with Ming Xiuying while enjoying the supple feeling of Aiko's legs.
She caressed it up and down slowly, altering between nails, caressing and squeezing.
Aiko didn't resist Mei again, since it felt nice and she still believed that Mei wouldn't take it too far.
Soon after there was a ruckus in the lower part of the tea house, it seemed like a fight broke out, but Aiko was too preoccupied to notice.
Mei also kept talking with Ming Xiuying while slowly moving her hand closer between Aiko's legs, since she was not resisting, there was no point in overthinking things.
The Dark Aiko always had her fun, so it was about time for Mei to also have her fun.
Aiko's body stiffened again, but this time for much longer and she even snapped her head at Mei in disbelief.
Mei tilted her head innocently as she gently brushed between Aiko's legs.
Aiko's face was immediately painted light red, but at that moment it happened.
"I have told you that we will pay you twice as much as these nobodies!" The doors burst open with a young individual raring about this being his room and that he would pay more than Aiko's entourage.
Aiko immediately covered her face and Mei's eyes quivered.
Ming Xiuying pursed her lips. She already noticed something happening between Aiko and Mei, but this kind of reaction was too exaggerated for it to be simple banter.
"You, out!" That ignorant individual pointed at the blushing little Fox at the 'head' of the table. The same seat that was always his.
Aiko's blushing face was quickly turning as embarrassment turned into rage. She was glad that they were interrupted, but that didn't mean she would move out of her place.
The breeze was very nice on her tails and it's been a while since she vented them.
The Young Master looked at them haughtily, like the ignorant fool he was.
The only ones who would be able to oppose him would-be leaders of the large Sects and the Governor of this place, but he didn't get any message that they moved from their places.
All that meant for him was that he owned this place when those heads were not walking around.
"Young Master, we should give them money to resolve this situation. There is no need to take dumb Beasts into your eyes." An old, what looked like an advisor, told the Haughty Young Master.
"That is fair, but some of them looked quite good." The Idiotic Young Master caressed his chin. He was looking straight at the only Human beauty in the group.
"We have already paid for this room, so it's better to book another." The Blood Fox said softly, but she was quite scared.
Ming Qian's expression was not right and the barely noticeable bloodlust was quite strong for her.
"Hah?" The Wishing Death Young Master rolled his eyes. "If I said you go out, you go out. If I say 'accompany me', you will accompany me!" He said disdainfully, leering at the human girl.
He strode towards her, but suddenly, his body couldn't move.
"Interesting. Mind repeating that to my face?" Ming Qian smiled, but the bloodlust was not so strong that even Ming Xiuying could feel it.
The whole entourage froze upon hearing that voice. The unforgettable voice of Cultivator that transcended them all!
"Our apologies for interrupting-" The old adviser immediately mouthed an apology, but he was interrupted by a rude Fox.
"Old Ming. You can play with them, but leave the youth to me, there are still things I have not explained to my companions." Mei played the part, but she would not give up on torturing that cunt under the guise of teaching.
Old Ming frowned, but conceded. He would soon serve Mei, so it was natural he would have to get used to this.
Aiko tilted her head. "What are you going to do?"
"I believe it's time for you to learn how to master illusions. While everyone got Illusion Bloodline, that didn't mean they would be able to utilise it." Mei explained. "And we have the perfect test subject for it." She pointed at the still-frozen youth.
"That is a good idea." Aiko nodded her head. She was looking forward to this and it didn't seem like Grandpa Ming would mind.
"What do we need?" Aiko asked, ready to play this game.
"Let's book another room, since it might get messy. It's your first time after all." Mei chuckled at the 'angry' Aiko.
'Can't you say it normally?!' Aiko was complaining in her mind, but she kept her mouth shut.
...
Aiko and her team went to the next room, while Mei grabbed the mouth with her Divine Sense.
It was sort of a demonstration of power that would intimidate him and his entourage.
And it worked wonders, since even the old adviser was shivering.
Mei walked into the room and threw him into the middle.
He was opening and closing his mouth, but he was unable to form coherent sentences.
Mei nodded gently. "Now, let me show you how to make illusions."
Mei concentrated for a bit and the whole room distorted. They were no longer in a tea house, but on a very small plain island, surrounded by water.
"Whoa!" Aiko's eyes sparkled. This was a lot cooler than she expected!
"This is the more advanced version, but since we don't want to be interrupted, this can be used as a camouflage." Mei explained.
"Why didn't you use it before?" Aiko suddenly narrowed her eyes.
"Some things you can only use after obtaining Human Form. This is one such thing, or rather, it makes it easier to use." Mei explained slowly. "The thing about illusions is that they need a good mental image and stable energy. Beasts have by a nature chaotic energy, so while you would be able to recreate this, it would not be energy efficient and it would just exhaust you." She kept going. "Moreover, there would be distortion every time you would relax just a bit, so your psyche would be drained even faster than your energy."
She stepped into the water that was surrounding the island, but looking closely, she was walking on the water!
Aiko's eyes sparkled even more.
"Because I have experienced the stability of the Human Form, I can easily distort the reality." Mei proclaimed.
"But it's not perfect." Aiko suddenly said. "The water doesn't really have a bottom and there are other discrepanc- ah?" She blinked a few times, but now the water had the classic ocean floor.
"It's just an illusion, so you can always adjust it later." Mei chuckled.
"So cool!" Aiko's eyes sparkled again. "How do I do this?" She was ready to practice illusions.
"First is visualisation. You need to imagine what the illusion would look like. Depending on how well you know the thing you are trying to make an illusion out of, will determine how well it will look and if you can fool Cultivators." Mei explained.
Aiko nodded attentively. What she imagined was her new improved Massage Chair, but no matter what she did, nothing changed in her surroundings.
"What do I do to make it come forth?" Aiko blinked innocently.
Mei chuckled gently. "It's simple-"
It was not simple...
...
The explanation took a long time and Mei dove into many things for everyone to understand how to create illusions. The fastest one in creating illusions was the Blood Fox.
It felt like she was already used to it, like she trained her whole life.
"You need to adjust your energy and shape it into illusion energy." The Blood Fox was much better at explaining shapeless things than Mei.
Mei was all about showing how it worked while explaining. Meanwhile, the Blood Fox was much better at explaining abstract things.
"Oh." A small needle appeared on Aiko's hand. "I did it!" Aiko proclaimed, with the help of the Blood Fox, it was a lot easier to create.
Mei was sulking since she couldn't explain it well enough for even the smart Aiko to understand.
Aiko then went into a corner to practise this, since she wanted to revise how the Massage Chair would look with all the changes.
Meanwhile, the Blood Fox went to the Twins, which had a hard time creating illusions. It almost felt impossible for them to create illusions...
Lastly, Mei smiled wickedly as she watched the bastard crawl away, she would have fun with him while he was alive and Aiko was still interested in her illusions!
...
'It's more difficult than I thought.' Aiko frowned gently. She was trying to recreate her Massage Chair, but it turns out she needed to solidify that image in her mind.
Thanks to the [Perfect Memory], she was able to do that, but that didn't mean she was able to bring it forth.
It consumed quite a lot of Nightmare Essence, which Mei warned her about. Aiko now understood why most Beasts would rather create natural illusions rather than man-made things.
It was a lot easier to recreate nature, since Beasts spent 90% of their life in nature.
However, Aiko would not give up just yet.
'If I can't recreate the whole thing, then I will just recreate individual pieces and inspect them.' She nodded happily. Only when you see the finished product, you would know that you messed something up.
It's been the same with all her Massage Chairs and Aiko didn't like her consumption of materials when most issues could be solved in the development phase.
'I should learn Forging to make my own things...' Aiko sighed gently as she was creating a small needle-like structure.
What do you think?
