I only want Lola.
JOLIE'S POV
The night air was cold against my skin as I gripped the balcony railing, staring blankly into the darkness.
Two weeks.
Two damn weeks, and Lola was still missing.
I didn’t want to believe I’d never see her again.
She’s my wife—my crazy wife. The only woman who knows how to drive me to the edge, who knows exactly how to push my buttons and when to press them. The one who makes my life a chaotic mess—and I love her for it.
And now, she’s gone.
I feel like a goddamn failure. A loser for not being able to protect her.
I’ve turned over every stone. Brian and Luke helped me during the search, every single one of my guards has been interrogated—none of them acted suspiciously. I’ve done everything in my power.
Nothing.
No clues.
The waitress? She never saw the man who hired her, but she’s locked up just in case she remembers something.
The restaurant’s CCTV? Useless. The bastard who took Lola wore a mask.
No footprints, no ransom note, no trace at all.
Whoever took her knew exactly what they were doing.
And I can’t stop thinking about what they’re doing to her right now.
"Sir... sir..."
A faint voice pulled me from my thoughts. I turned to see Nelly, the maid my mother had hired to cook for me. Middle-aged, quiet, always looking down like she was afraid of eye contact.
“What?” I snapped, barely keeping my frustration in check.
“Your grandpa, your mother, and a man are in the living room… They want to see you,” she said hesitantly.
I exhaled sharply. Mom’s here?
Hmph. She’s a problem herself.
I followed Nelly downstairs, my patience wearing thin.
Lola’s grandfather—Mr. Fayas—was already there, seated beside my own grandfather. My mother stood nearby, arms folded, watching me closely.
"Jolie, how have you been holding up, son?" Mr. Fayas asked.
I sat beside him, rubbing a hand down my face. “Bad, sir. I don’t know what else to do.”
He sighed, his gaze filled with an exhaustion that mirrored mine. “We need to stay calm and come up with solutions. Considering that Lola had no enemies before…”
That’s when it hit me.
The entire room fell silent.
And everyone… was looking directly at me.
Their eyes screamed the accusation I didn’t want to admit.
It’s one of your enemies. Or one of your women.
I swallowed hard and nodded in understanding.
Without another word, I shot up from my seat and stormed out of the house like a madman.
I didn’t care about the conversation behind me.
I didn’t care what my grandfather and Mr. Fayas said to each other.
I only cared about one thing.
Finding Lola.

BRIAN’S POV
I leaned back on the couch, watching Lola sleep through my iPad screen.
A small, hidden CCTV camera had been installed in her room.
No, it’s not what you think.
I’m not injecting her with abortion pills.
I don’t give a damn if she’s pregnant.
I just want her dead.
But death? That’s too easy. Too merciful.
So, I came up with something better.
I ordered the doctor to inject her with brain poison—a slow, devastating toxin that would break her mind.
First, it would paralyze her. Then, it would erode her sanity.
She wouldn’t just die.
She would go insane.
Laughing like a lunatic in an empty room. Screaming at ghosts that weren’t there. Talking nonsense until Jolie wouldn’t even recognize her anymore.
That’s the kind of suffering I wanted for her.
That’s the kind of revenge I needed.
But…
She’s still alive.
It’s been two weeks, and the doctor says her body is too strong. Too resistant.
So, I gave him one order.
Double the dosage.
I want to watch her break.
I want to see Jolie cry blood when he realizes his wife is gone, trapped in a twisted, broken mind.
Or maybe… he’ll abandon her when she turns into a lunatic.
That would be even better.
The door creaked open, pulling me from my thoughts.
Selen.
Oh, the bitch is here.
I turned off my iPad and looked at her.
She wore a barely-there nightie, her body on full display. The way her hips curved in the dim light…
Tempting.
But she’s not as curvy as Lola.
She slinked over to me, pressing her body against mine. Her lips brushed my ear.
"Brian… can I ride you tonight?" she whispered, licking my earlobe.
Shit.
I felt the heat coil in my gut.
I grabbed her waist, pulling her close, but something felt off.
I hadn’t showered yet.
I kissed her deeply before pulling away, my voice husky. “Let me shower first.”
I squeezed her ass, making her shudder.
"Be fast, then," she pouted, rubbing against me. "I really want you to screw me tonight."
I smirked and winked before heading to the bathroom.

SELEN’S POV
I watched Brian rush off like a desperate fool.
Idiot.
He thinks I forgot about what he did to me? He beat me up. He thought I was weak. Helpless.
But I’ll show him.
Soon.
I turned to the coffee table and grabbed his iPad.
He doesn’t know that I know his password.
Big mistake.
I unlocked it quickly, and the screen flickered to life.
And what I saw made my blood run cold.
Lola.
Her body was limp on the bed, barely moving.
The screen showed a live feed from a hidden CCTV camera.
Brian has her.
For two weeks.
The shock lasted only a moment before a wicked smirk crossed my lips.
I quickly copied the location and backed up the footage.
Now, what to do?
Lola humiliated me. She was the reason Brian hit me for the first time. She’s an enemy.
But… if I hand this over to Jol
ie…
Brian will go down.
He’ll be destroyed.
That would be the ultimate revenge.
I was about to set the iPad back when I heard the bathroom door creak open.
Shit.
Brian stood in the doorway, towel hanging loosely around his hips.
His sharp eyes locked onto me.
Oh, God.
I’m busted.
What do you think?
