Conquering Ladies With My 10x Rebate System

Chapter 36: Host in danger!

Chapter 36: Host in danger!

Julia looked at Caleb, his bright green eyes reflecting her face.

Her eyes welled up slightly.

She drew closer to Caleb.

"Seems my little brother has finally grown to become a man... Mom would’ve been so proud of you," Julia said, throwing a gentle kiss on his cheek.

Caleb was caught off guard by the sudden kiss.

The soft sensation of her lips touching his cheek left him in a daze.

{Ding!}

{Affection meter 💗: 87/100}

{Task #1 complete: Get a kiss}

Caleb was, at first, slightly shocked by the dangerously high affection rate.

But it made sense, since she was his sister...

It made the mission even more delicate, since even the slightest mistake could send that high affection crumbling to dust.

’Arrghh, this mission is a tough one. But wait, that counted as a kiss?’ Caleb was left shocked by the system’s kindness.

The system he knew was a dirty-minded slot!... That is, of course, if it were to be a person.

’Or is this a way to set up the stage?’ He couldn’t help but find the system’s moves to be quite suspicious.

The system never broke down his missions into tasks like it was currently doing.

So it seemed as though it was taking things in steps... trying to ease the tension between the two before ultimately leaving him with the final goal...

—To conquer.

Or so he thought...

{Task #2: Arousal}

{Reward: E-rank 2X}

Good luck, host... (•‿•)

Caleb’s brows twitched seeing the face from the system... it was clearly a ridicule.

But it seemed this time, he wasn’t being forced to, since there didn’t look to be any penalty attached to it—or at least the system had yet to mention any.

Why? he thought to himself, but the answer to that was only something the system could give.

And it didn’t look like it was going to reveal anything.

Seeing there was nothing he could do, Caleb shifted his thoughts to the other changes he had noticed.

*’I see, so it’s taking the mission in stages now...’ *Caleb thought, his gaze shifting to Julia.

How was he meant to do it?

He felt like it was both an insult to him and the Caleb whose body he possessed.

But the system didn’t care... it didn’t consider any bond between the two.

Was it because he was from another timeline?

Caleb could only leave the thoughts with a frustrated sigh.

If he was going to do it, then it would require that he prepared himself mentally.

He looked at Julia, clenching his fist by his side.

’... This is shit. I can’t,’ he thought to himself.

Julia chuckled at his reaction, obviously mistaking it.

"What? You don’t wanna be a man? Don’t worry, big sis will take care of all your needs," Julia said with a confident smile.

If Caleb didn’t know better, that smile would’ve been enough to make him think that she was just like every other simple lady.

"Haha, it’s not that... I couldn’t help but admire how confident and beautiful big sis was... If only you weren’t my sister, maybe things would’ve been better."

Caleb said his thoughts... Indeed, that was exactly what he was hoping for—wishing he wasn’t related to her in any way.

Julia looked at Caleb with a questioning look.

Her smile turned into a devilish grin.

"Don’t tell me lil bro has feelings for his big sister," she asked, bending over slightly to get a better look at him.

Caleb’s eyes darted down for a moment, her cleavage clearly visible from that position.

"No! It’s definitely not that," Caleb said, pinching his nose and looking away from her deep ravine.

"You know, big sister will always love lil bro no matter what," Julia said, her grin growing wider as she closed the small gap between them.

’What’s this perverted sister trying to do!’ Now it was his own turn to be alarmed.

She was teasing him, but her tease looked to be rather inviting.

Her cleavage was visible, her twin mountains jiggling on her chest.

And then there was her terribly cute face.

"Get away from me," Caleb said, giving more distance between the two of them.

Julia laughed out cheerfully.

"Sure, I’ll let you off this time." Her grin remained on her face as she threw her hair over her shoulders.

"It’s getting late. You can spend the night with me here... I arranged a room for us," she offered, turning toward the hostel not too far from the beach.

Caleb turned to the ocean. It was already sunset, the sun slowly drowning itself in the water...

They had spent quite some time discussing, reminiscing over their childhood; they lost track of time.

It was a short period, but it was enough for Caleb to fully understand the one before him.

It was definitely worth it.

’She’s right, there’s no point leaving now... I might as well just spend the night here.’

"Alright, let’s go," Caleb accepted.

"Good!" Julia squealed in excitement, grabbing onto Caleb’s hand as she led him to the hotel as though he was a kid.

It wasn’t a long walk from the beach to the hotel, and it barely took ten minutes.

The hotel stood like it knew it didn’t have to try too hard—small, sleek, and unapologetically exclusive.

With its minimalist white walls, tinted glass balconies, and soft gold accents, it looked more like a luxury perfume ad than a place to sleep.

With the beach by the side, it offered the kind of quiet money that didn’t shout—just nodded politely from behind designer sunglasses.

Inside, the air was crisp with sea salt and expensive cologne, and every detail, from the marble floors to the hushed concierge desk, whispered: "Yes, you’re exactly where you should be."

Julia didn’t need to meet the receptionist. Just as she arrived in front of the hotel, one of her guards walked up to her, handing her the two keys for the double-room space she had reserved for herself and Caleb.

They both went up to check the rooms, Julia leading the way.

She stopped in front of the door, pausing in front of Caleb’s room door.

"Here, this is your room... Mine is just over there."

Caleb followed her slender finger. It was pointing towards the glass door just inside his room.

The rooms were simply separated by one glass door!

’Is it me, or is she just the clingy type?’ Caleb thought, letting out a sigh of exasperation as he saw the door.

"I’ll be on the other side if you need me," Julia said, quickly rushing into the room.

She went toward her own room... The door clicked shut, but opened a second later.

"Should I—"

"No!" Caleb immediately cut her off.

Julia pouted her lips in displeasure, her eyes glistening like that of a little pup as she slowly closed her door.

Caleb looked around for a moment, familiarizing himself with the new environment.

Then he went into the shower, taking a nice bath.

As he came out, he went directly to his bed, switched off the room light with the automatic remote.

And then, he bent over to the side a bit to switch off the bedside lamp.

Caleb rested his head on the pillow, his head sinking inside.

He gently closed his eyes, about to fall asleep.

Then—

{Ding!}
