Chapter 494 494: I'm the one started this war
"Daddy… Daddy…"
While holding Das's face with both hands, Kavi stared into his eyes with infatuation. Kelly rubbed her eyes in shock as she couldn't believe the scene before her.
Kavi, who argued with Das a few seconds ago, is now acting like his sweet heart, which is deep love.
"Sis, what are you doing?" Kelly called out loudly. But there is no reaction from Kavi.
"Das, what did you do?" Kelly cried out in fear as her brain went into stupor.
"Daddy, kiss me. Please daddy… Kiss me." Kavi moved her face close to Das and stared into his eyes, pleading.
"Sis, stop. What are you doing? You may be a virgin. But you shouldn't bow to his charm. Wake up." Kelly held Kavi's hair and tried to pull her back.
"Phat"
A loud slap fell on Kelly's cheeks. "Don't meddle in my personal matter," Kavi cried out with a fierce look and again moved close to Das with a sweet smile.
Holding her cheeks in pain, Kelly stared at Das with a sad look.
"Don't blame me. I didn't ask her to slap you." Das replied in a calm tone with a bit of a smile.
"Das, please stop whatever you did to her. It is too scary." Keely spoke in a pleading tone as her eyes turned moist.
"Okay… okay… don't cry." Das replied in a hurry.
With a quick stare into Kavi's eyes, he snapped his fingers. In the next instance, Kavi's eyes fluttered as he regained her rational thinking.
She stared at Das's face in confusion. After finding that her lips were almost touching her lips, she hurriedly moved back. Kelly held onto Kavi's back, who almost fell back in surprise.
"What happened?" Kavi asked with a confused look.
Before the fat lady, Kelly, explained anything, Das snapped his fingers one more time. Kavi immediately gained memories of what happened.
Kavi hurriedly turned towards Kelly and checked her cheeks. After seeing the finger marks on Kelly's cheeks, she believed everything had really happened.
"You, what did you do to me?" Kavi cried with a shocked gaze. Her cheeks turned red as she recalled how she begged Das for a kiss and called him Daddy.
"Do you believe me now?" Das asked in a calm tone while holding the wine glass.
Both ladies exchanged looks as they finally understood what Das said was true. Kavi did not understand what to say. She is an atheist who never believed in God, supernaturals, or magic. But now her entire worldview has changed, for instance.
"So, this is how you control the second prince?" Kelly asked in a weak tone while thinking about her fate if Das manipulates her brain and enjoys her body day and night. A strange fear creeped on her back as her forehead began sweating.
"Now, you know." Das replied while pouring wine for the ladies.
A silence filled the room for a long time. Kavi, who always maintained her stoic face, was completely lost in her thoughts. Kelly, who is fearing Das, didn't even dare to match his gaze.
"Am done. Do you want anything more?" Das asked while getting up from the dining table.
The two ladies hurriedly denied it while getting up from their seats. They quickly washed hands and said good-bye to Das. Kelly, who is shaking, held on to Kavi's arm and dragged along with her. Das did not try to stop them or warn them.
Suddenly, Kavi stopped at the entrance and stared at Das with a serious look. "Das, with your ability, you can stop this war. But why are you sleeping here all day without caring about thousands of people who are dying every minute?" Kavi asked while staring into Das's eyes.
Das smiled at her question. "I'm the one who started this war in the first place." Das laid back on the bed and closed his eyes without caring about revealing the truth.
Kelly almost fell to the ground after hearing what Das said. She tightly tugged on Kavi's arm like a little kid who got feared by a ghost.
"But why?" Kavi asked again with clenched fists.
"If I say it now, you guys will miss the thrill. Just wait for two days; you will know everything." Das replied without opening his eyes.
The two ladies stood there for a long time while watching Das. They have several doubts in mind. But the person who could answer was already sleeping with a steady breath.
After taking a last look, Kavi walked outside. Kelly hurriedly followed her with shackling legs.
_
An orange hue appeared on the eastern horizon, casting a soft glow over Hope Island. The sun still hid beneath the horizon, its light creeping up in anticipation of the day.
At the center of the island, the armies of the Farus and Taurus families faced each other, ready for battle. The Farus family had adopted the Snake Head Formation, with their top warriors at the front, while the Taurus family countered with the Spearhead Formation, a perfect counter to the Snake.
The Farus army was already at a disadvantage before the fight had even begun. Determined to protect her forces for another day, Amara stepped forward, her presence alone enough to reignite the spirits of her warriors. Their loud cries echoed across the battlefield, a testament to their renewed determination.
Princess Amara, standing with her twin swords at the front lines, felt a surge of frustration upon seeing the enemy's formation.
On the opposite side, the Aries family patriarch, Thomas, hurried to the Taurus family patriarch, his excitement barely contained. "Patriarch, today is the best time to trap the Farus princess! What do you say?" he urged, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
The Taurus family patriarch, however, remained calm and calculating. "Not today," he replied, his voice steady. "The divination revealed that Amara's fate is still strong. We must wait. We'll weaken her army through hard battle, then trap her like a rat when the moment is right. Wait for two days—then we strike."
Thomas's face fell, his excitement draining away. "But...we have the perfect opportunity now," he protested, his voice tinged with disappointment.
The Taurus patriarch shook his head, his gaze unwavering. "Patience, Thomas. A hasty move could ruin us. We need to bide our time and ensure her forces are sufficiently weakened. Only then can we ensure victory. Trust the plan."
Thomas sighed, nodding reluctantly. "As you say, Patriarch, I just hope the perfect moment comes soon."
On the battlefield, Amara could sense the tension between the enemy leaders. She took a deep breath, raising her swords high. "For Farus!" she shouted, her voice cutting through the morning air. Her army responded with a thunderous roar, their morale bolstered by her unwavering resolve.
The sun finally broke free from the horizon, casting its light over the two armies. The battle was about to begin, and the fate of the Farus and Taurus families hung in the balance. As the first rays of sunlight bathed the battlefield, both sides prepared for the clash that would determine their futures.
What do you think?
