Chapter 490 490: Day 1
After hearing what Das said, Kelly gulped hard and carefully drank the wine. While Das asked her different questions about the functioning of the 13th sector, Kelly answered them obediently.
Even though Das acted friendly and casual, Kelly struggled to treat Das as a casual friend. Every time she spoke, respect and fear mixed in her tone.
After finishing the dinner, Kelly waved her hand and left Das's tent. She felt relaxed and breathed heavily after coming out. As she gripped the white token given by Das, anxiety on her face replaced with joy. Like a little girl who got a dollar from her relatives, she ran towards the kitchen to share the news with Kavi.
Meanwhile, Das picked up a wine bottle and went alone to roam freely on the seashore.

While the two sides were busy preparing for war, the Indian army, under General Harries, was getting ready for the arrangements.
Several surveillance drones were arranged to live-telecast the war on the dark web. Also, automatic intelligence systems were arranged to detect if any fighter used guns or explosive items.
A barricade of laser lights was arranged in the middle of the island, where the two armies meet. Also, several loyal soldiers of the General were camping in different positions with snipers.
As the night deepened, General Harries went to meet with army commanders from two sides. He gave a letter that contained rules and regulations of the way.
"In which ever the case, the war should siege once the sirens rang at evening six o'clock. Even if you place a sword on your opponent's throat, you must leave him alive if the siren rings. If you cross this rule, my subordinates will fire bullets without hesitation. Keep that in mind."
The general gave the same warning to both sides. After doing what was necessary, the general came back to his camp and began seriously thinking about what Das said to him. The general is hesitating to seize the hidden family nukes.
With an unwilling look, he took out the information about the Shadow family and the skull organization, which Das suggested taking help from.

The two sides sent their soldiers for an early sleep. As the war will start tomorrow morning at sun rise, the two sides gave their soldiers a break while the commanders and family members met to discuss the war events.
_
Das sat alone on the southern side of the beach. Meanwhile, on the northern side of the beach, a lady covered in black clothes sat with a heavy heart. She seemed like a stealthy assassin who is waiting for her turn.
Till now, no one has noticed her presence on the island. She always hid herself from the soldiers of the Aries and Taurus families. The surveillance army team also ignored her, thinking that she is one of the members of the Taurus family.
While staring at the night sky, she is drawing a pattern on the sand. Her lips continued to mutter forbidden mantras.

Early in the in the morning, before the sun rose, two families began marching towards the center of the island with their armies. Both sides were moving in a formation while marching rhythmically.
At the center of Hope Island, the tension reached its peak. Two formidable armies faced each other, separated by a barrier of shimmering laser beams that crackled ominously in the colorful light.
On one side, the Taurus and Aries families's army stood resolutely in a formidable scorpion formation, their armor glinting with the threat of a fierce strike. On the other side, the Farus family's forces arranged themselves in a pincer-like crescent formation, ready to strike with deadly precision on both sides of the scorpion.
The commanders of both armies, Princess Amara and the Taurus family patriarch, stepped forward, their faces set in grim determination.
The air between them seemed to hum with the weight of their histories and the looming threat of the battle to come. General Harries moved to the center, his stern gaze sweeping across the gathered soldiers.
He raised his voice, his words carrying over the hushed field. "Warriors of the Taurus and Farus families, I stand here to recite the rules of this blood bath." His voice was firm and unyielding. "This war will be fought with honor like the old kings. No one should use modern weapons or explosives, and any acts of treachery will be met with severe consequences.
You have one last chance to reconsider your course of action. Do you wish to proceed to fight?"
The commanders from both sides exchanged fierce looks, their eyes blazing with the fire of long-standing rivalries and unspoken grudges.
Silence hung in the air, thick and heavy, as the weight of their decisions settled upon them. Without a word, both commanders turned on their heels and marched back to their respective lines, their resolve unshaken.
While beating their swords against shields, the soldiers made a loud, cheerful noise to excite the army before fighting.
General Harries remained still for a moment, his eyes closed in a brief, silent prayer for the lives that would soon be lost. He scanned the Farus army to spot Das, but even after a long time, he failed to trace Das. Then, he too receded to the edge of the battlefield, his heart heavy but his duty clear.
As the first rays of the sun broke over the horizon, casting a golden glow across the island, a loud siren pierced the morning air. The laser beams flickered and then deactivated, leaving the field open and the path to war unbarred.
A collective breath was held as the armies prepared to clash, the stillness before the storm pregnant with anticipation.
"Attack"
"Attack"
With the command from both sides, the frontline warriors rushed with their weapons raised high in the air.
"Archers"
Commanders on both sides called for archers as they approached.
"Whoosh… Whoosh… Whoosh…"
Millions of arrows were released at once into the air. Holding the heavy shield above shoulder height, everyone perfectly blocked the arrows. As the two sides prepared for this initial attack, the archers failed to claim many lives.
What do you think?
