Yet, the two Innate Martial Cultivators would not stubbornly take the hits but, with a flash, they separated and attacked from two separate directions—this was the correct tactic when outnumbered, a fact well-known by any experienced cultivator.

However, their experience in combat was still inferior to that of Combat Cultivators, who were amongst the Lower-Level Cultivators that most valued cooperation.

An arrow, silent and sudden, shot forward from behind; there were never any courtesies on the battlefield, only the pursuit of a fatal strike.

But this arrow was shot too silently—an indication that the shooter, a Qi-Refining Practitioner akin to a sniper in the military, surely wouldn’t miss.

The unsuspecting cultivator was struck by an arrow piercing from his back to his chest. He did have a Defense Talisman activated, but initially hit by an Armor-Piercing Arrow and then targeted again, this was the third arrow, rendering his defenses almost non-existent.

Under the eyes of all, this man was impaled through the heart with a spear and a longsword thrust into his chest.

Seeing this, the others shouted together and charged towards the broken Flying Boat.

The people on the Flying Boat were still desperately trying to make themselves clear, saying, “We were just passing by, are you mistaken?” but their attackers would not listen at all, striking without care as if they were all deaf.

About a dozen people sat on the Flying Boat, now extremely passive because they couldn’t even run; they could only hold the line by the split section of the boat. However, because of this, their area of defense was not large, allowing them to still hold on temporarily.

Before long, two defenders were killed and another two severely injured, most of the damage being dealt by the concealed archer.

The people on the Flying Boat were both angered and annoyed, “If you’re certainly determined to oppose the Xue Family, then please leave your name behind. Do you have the guts?”
