Chapter 3451 - Little Meng

Qitian Muyu? And is that the valley lord?! Even though Tianming hadn’t seen them with his own eyes, there was no way Yin Chen would be mistaken. It had lost track of the valley lord of Myriadpath Valley right after he entered the Yin-Yang World before.

I didn't think they'd actually show up here! On the one hand were nine of the strongest specters of House Yumo. On the other was the head of House Qitian and the valley lord himself. Tianming had no idea which side was stronger, since he didn't have a good understanding of the valley lord's might. However, he knew that not just anyone could be a being that everyone in the Million Mundi would fear.

Among the nine from House Yumo, three were major-zenith foundationeers and the rest were minor-zenith foundationeers. The valley lord, on the other hand, was a super-zenith foundationeer. Regardless, both factions were part of the Three Exalted Houses, so there was little chance that they would actually fight each other.

It’d be ideal for me if they did, though. It was one thing for the children of the Three Exalted Houses to squabble, but it was another thing entirely for the true elites of House Yumo to fight against the valley lord. That would signify an unprecedented change in the Million Mundi.

Let's hope they go completely wild fighting each other and ruin any hope of reconciliation! One side was the public enemy of all beastmasters, while the other was a group of genocidal specters, and both were among the most powerful rulers of the universe.

Come to think of it, the specters only came to the Yin-Yang World because of the monochrome flower I activated, which caused the monochrome planet to appear. As for the valley lord, he's here because I crippled Qitian Muchen, right? I was the cause of their presence here.

I wiped out twenty Yumo eminents in Infinitum and destroyed the Hellfiend. Maybe House Yumo believes that nobody other than the valley lord is capable of such a feat. As for the death of Yazi in the Yin-Yang World, maybe House Qitian suspects the Yumos to be the culprits. As long as they have those doubts, the two factions might constantly be on the brink of conflict.

Based on how wild the specters sounded, they seem rather fanatical about the prospect of obtaining this astralship. There's no way they'll be able to tolerate the valley lord taking it from them.

At the thought of that, Tianming's curiosity only grew. While he would be all too happy if the two houses began fighting each other over what was in the monochrome planet, it would be troubling if the winning side took it.

Once the valley lord and Qitian Muyu had also entered the monochrome planet, Tianming and Eminent Jiguang approached it. He also had Yin Chen shrink and infiltrate the ship. It would be able to move about in a smaller form, since the storm wasn’t nearly as strong in the ship. Its invisible cockroach form was the stealthiest of them all.

The valley lord's tensource beast had incredibly keen senses. Tianming also had many Yin Chens all across Myriadpath Valley. Even if he didn't use Yin Chen much in combat, there was still a risk of people connecting the dots.

Right after Yin Chen entered the ship, it told Tianming that the valley lord and the specters had encountered each other.

Wait, so he just showed himself openly to them? The valley lord came later, so the fact that he dares to publicly show up means he's confident that he can deal with the situation.

Tianming still didn't understand the valley lord enough. All he knew was that he was a traitor that killed his own wife, the daughter of the previous valley lord, and his very own master. He had also killed Qitian Muchen, his own son. While someone like that might appear upright and cultured, he was without a question one of the most dangerous people in the astralscape of order.

If I show my eighth-level-foundationeer fighting capability back at Myriadpath Valley, the valley lord definitely won’t leave me in peace. Still, the matter of hiding his true power wasn't something he had to worry about in the immediate future. He was more concerned about the fortuna-class astralship.

The specters had made their way rather deep into the ship. While the monochrome planet was huge, the hallways didn't branch out much. The specters were also worried that carelessly destroying the inner walls of the ship would compromise its integrity, so they opted to advance with caution.

They kept their skyghoul transformations up as they advanced. The cries of the baleful souls that sounded out from their bodies would send chills down anyone's spine. They were the most savage lifeforms in the entire astralscape of order, and nobody in their right mind would approach them. But now, relaxed footsteps rang out, approaching them from behind.

"Who goes there?!" All nine specters turned back in unison, their cosmoforce surging as they glared at the figures behind them in the dark hallway. Even the internal structures of the ship were made from fortuna-class ores and were as tough as the best fortuna-class artifacts. However, the approaching person's footsteps resounded loudly on such a material, which only added to how oppressive the person seemed.

The specters exchanged glances before slowly backing away. Eventually, two figures in white robes appeared before them. Everyone's expressions, including Yumo Diyan's, endlessly shifted from their shock and realization.

"Valley Lord...." He was the last person they had wanted to encounter in such a place.

Before the specters had a chance to discuss among themselves, the silver-haired man looked at them and chuckled. "Oh? I was wondering who made such a large hole, only to find my brothers and sisters of House Yumo in here! I'm impressed!"

Yumo Diyan, the senior madame, and the others had a bad feeling. They were just about to claim their spoils, only for an apex predator to show up behind them. They had worked hard for a few days to reach this point!

But there was no way they could coldly regard the valley lord when he seemed to be in a jovial and talkative mood. The senior madame smiled and said in a sinister voice, "Valley Lord, we didn't think you'd find your way here, too. This is perfect. We were worried about traps set by the natives of the Yin-Yang World and weren't confident enough to charge straight in."

"Little Meng, surely you jest. All nine of the top elites of House Yumo are here! There's no obstacle that you can't overcome!" the valley lord said. He was the only one in the entire universe who dared to call the senior madame 'Little Meng'. Not even the old patriarch of House Suishen would address the senior madame that way.
