Chapter 124: Chapter 124 A Whole Bottle of Vinegar_1

“What a coincidence?” Nan Fei expressed her doubt.

“Yeah! It’s fate.” Huo Beijiang picked up chopsticks, urging her to eat quickly.

Nan Fei was not in the mood for eating upon his sudden appearance. Only her grandma knew about her visit to the capital city, but she didn’t tell anyone specifically where. She would be a fool to believe Huo Beijiang’s sudden appearance was just a coincidence.

But if he had intentionally sought her out, that would be even stranger!

How could he find her in such a vast city?

For some reason, Nan Fei always felt a sense of exposure in front of him, as if she couldn’t hide anything from him.

“Don’t you…have anything to ask me?” She asked slowly. In her heart, she complained: Huo Beijiang was too cunning, intentionally keeping her in suspense without saying or asking anything.

“Ask what?” Huo Beijiang’s chopstick hand faltered. His half-closed eyes slowly opened, the gaze falling on Nan Fei was deep and enigmatic. He leaned closer to her, his prominent nose almost touching Nan Fei’s red lips, intimidating her into moving back and creating some space between them.

Nan Fei was stunned, thinking, how would I know what you want to ask me?

Is he pretending to be confused?

“Never mind if you don’t ask!” Nan Fei grumbled and looked away from Huo Beijiang. After waiting for a while and finding him silent, she found it unusual. She was about to say something when she smelled a strong vinegar odor.

She looked up to see Huo Beijiang pouring vinegar from the bottle on the table into his Yangzhou Fried Rice!

An entire bottle of vinegar, emptied in a few pours.

Nan Fei was stunned.

He poured the entire bottle of vinegar and evidently past satisfied, he called the waiter over, “out of vinegar, bring me another bottle.”

“Sure!” The waiter quickly brought over a filled bottle of vinegar, but had his comment cut short by Huo Beijiang’s dismissive glance, so left in a dejected manner.

“What are you doing?” Nan Fei seized the vinegar bottle.

“Eating vinegar! Can’t you see?”

Nearly choked on her own saliva, Nan Fei said, “You… keep eating, I’m leaving!”

As she started to stand, Huo Beijiang grabbed her wrist, “Don’t leave! Sit back down.” Regardless of her struggle, he forced her back into the chair next to him. Their bodies were almost touching.

The Summer clothes were thin, Nan Fei felt as if she would get burned at the mere touch of his skin.

“Wifey.” His hidden displeasure from earlier was gone, and with a smile in his eyes, he leaned in and murmured in her ear, “Have you missed me, wifey?”

“I’m not your wife,” she corrected.

However, Huo Beijiang didn’t seem to hear her words. Noting she didn’t answer his question, he leaned even closer and said indulgently, “Even if you haven’t missed me, I’ve been missing you.”

“I miss you in the day and even more at night.” After speaking, he stared at her alluring red lips. Her perfect lips were irresistible to him, inducing him to savor, claim. He could still remember the taste of her kiss when he left, it was addictive to him.

Once tasted, he knew she was the one he couldn’t live without for the rest of his life.

Nan Fei couldn’t help but blush. She felt immense pressure under his passionate gaze. Given his previous outrageous behavior, her sense of danger soared, which made her want to distance herself from him.

“Don’t move!” Nan Fei’s little scheme didn’t escape Huo Beijiang’s control. Before she could move, he said, “If you dare to move, I’ll dare to kiss you.”
