"Human child," he said, his voice deep and resonant. "Are you willing to become my Disciple?"

Knox feigned surprise as he shot his bloody head up. "You'd really have my useless self as a Disciple of someone as mighty and magnanimous as you!?"

The World Serpent quietly stared at him. Unknown thoughts ran through his mind before he replied, "Yes. From this day forth, you'll be my one and only Disciple."

Knox erupted in tearful laughter. "I can't believe my dream is coming true! I'm going to be the 1st Disciple of Big Master Snake…!!"

"Yes…."

For some unusual reason, the World Serpent felt like something was off. However, after concluding nothing tangible, his string of thoughts was forgone. He then slithered his tongue, spitting out another black book—this one having two entwined golden stars on the cover.

'So easy!?' Knox thought, finding it difficult to control his excitement. 'I expected it to take multiple visits across dozens of years in order to acquire the second half! To think it was so simple!'

But for now, simply knowing how lucrative eliciting astonishment was more than good enough. After all, of all emotions, anger and surprise were the easiest to make people feel.

"Big Master, this lowly one thanks you for your divine generosity!" Knox shouted with cupped fists. "I just hope that you won't ever lose this part of you over time. You are, after all, getting up there in years."

'I don't know enough of this world, so being super cautious is very much a necessity,' Knox thought while wearing a wide, friendly smile. 'After I take this old fart's shit and run for the hills, he might just be able to use a curse skill or something that works if you know someone's name. Can't have that, now can I?'

With a sly inward smirk, Knox saluted like a commanding officer. "Bob Bishop reporting for duty, Big Master! Just give the word, and I'll capture all the freshly-worn panties this world has to offer!"

As the World Serpent began to doubt his rushed decision to take Knox as a Disciple, said man pulled out his invisible watch.

Knox's eyes narrowed.

His kind smile flashed forward, and in an instant—while her guard was down—he sliced through Torrential Empress's neck. He then took advantage of the surprised states of everyone else and cut off the heads of all except for Cobra Empress—a busty woman who he intentionally left alive.

The Nascent Souls of the deceased Beast Emperors attempted to escape, but without letting them make it even ten feet, Knox slashed out.
