As Tang Zelin smelled the fragrance of the food and entered the house, he talked as he walked toward the kitchen counter, “That wouldn’t be right. I let Old Qu have my portion.”

Su Shu stood by the door, hesitating whether to close it or leave it open. Tang Zelin had just barged in uninvited; would that look bad?

On the other side, as Tang Zelin lifted the lid of the pot, he glanced casually and knew what she was worried about. His lips curled up slightly with a light smile.

“Afraid people might misunderstand?”

Su Shu, holding the door frame, looked at him.

“When you arrived, did many people see you?”

Tang Zelin replied, “Many! Quite a few people even greeted me.”
