Everyone slowly quieted down and looked at Mr Wen standing up.

This person had some power in the country not only because of his age but because of his previous identity. He was a famous merchant and speaker with over a million social media fans. If you paid attention to relevant news, you would have some impression of him.

“I will represent the region. Your lab can send a person to sit with me on the other side. We will take charge of the two pieces of equipment when the third battle goes on, and we will give the equipment to whoever who wins.”

Hearing Mr Wen say that, many people felt that it made sense. But David still shook his head and said that it didn’t follow the rules and still went against their previous agreement.

Mr Wen’s expression got better. He looked at his good friend Li Daqian before passing him something from his space.

“I will place the Heaven Fixing Needle on your side. Pass me the two pieces, and I will return them once the third battle ends.”

Mr Wen’s voice was soft, and only the people around could hear it. Moreover, he emphasized “returning them” which made Li Daqian relax. What was more surprising was that he handed over a 50 cm-long female finger-sized metal needle.

It had officially gotten onto the country weapon rankings and improved each time. In the last version, it was 4th.

Although Mr Wen was Li Daqian’s good friend, the latter wouldn’t pass him two pieces of equipment. That stone statue wasn’t much, but that star was very important to him. It was the controller of the strongest battle beast in Thousand Beast Villa. Five people in the villa had it. Each star was needed when controlling the strongest mutated lifeform; if not, they wouldn’t be able to control it.

Apart from their strategy being good, this fellow helped a lot in their operation to kill the level nine mutated lifeform. It was Thousand Beast Villa’s trump card.

But now, Mr Wen was not only his good friend, he was also doing everything to ensure this event would continue.

Mr Wen even used more precious purple equipment as collateral, which embarrassed Li Daqian and made him feel that he was not showing trust.

He gathered all his people. They didn’t modify the ape right away and discussed something.

On the other side, Los Alamos lab did something similar. Their words were very intense; it was as if they didn’t have a unified opinion.

After a while, both sides finished their discussion. They proposed something similar at the same time.

They wanted to have a small-scale team fight!

When Li Daqian heard that request, he squinted his eyes. He stared at their faces and wanted to see something. But apart from the determination on their faces, he only saw care.

“Sure, but the evolution level needs to be lower. Our Thousand Beast Villa doesn’t have that many level four lifeforms and we can only provide level three. If you agree, I will ask people to send theem over. If not, then sorry, we can only continue to use the few level four apes.”

Guancheng Chun and David agreed.

Li Daqian nodded, “How many do you need?”

David was first, “I need at least thirty!”

Guancheng Chun didn’t show weakness, “I don’t need so many, just twenty. I have confidence in this number that they will wipe out their thirty!”

Li Daqian didn’t say anything else and instructed people to get ready. He used this chance to contact and network with the other guests.
