Chapter 1787 Ignorant Of The Space Element

1787  Ignorant Of The Space Element

Sir Xavier didn't expect that Grey wouldn't even care to give him any form of regard. As long as Grey didn't want to make things hard for them, then he felt that he would at least take a step back. To his surprise though, Grey didn't show any signs of taking a step back. He tried to calm his anger as he looked at Grey with a sneer, "Does Your Excellency think that with your strength you can do as you please?" The only reason he hadn't attacked Grey isn't because he was afraid of him, but his background. Never would he have imagined that Grey would act like he was the overlord here. Grey looked at Sir Xavier with a blank expression. After stopping the Black Protector from leaving, he thought that these people would get the message and not try to act all high and mighty. To his surprise, Sir Xavier didn't seem to care. "My son will eventually become the City Lord of Raging Flame City, if the news of him being oppressed by a small family like that spreads out, it will be bad for his reputation." Sir Xavier added after seeing that Grey wasn't responding to his previous question. Grey took a sip of the tea, dropping the cup, he looked at Sir Xavier, "Yes, I can do as I please."

Sir Xavier and the two Protectors were left speechless with Grey's words. It was obviously an answer to Sir Xavier's previous question, and none of them expected that Grey would say that he could do as he pleased with his strength.

Sir Xavier's was already at his limit, so hearing this, his expression changed as the pressure of a Third stage Sovereign erupted in the Hall. He made sure to send most of the pressure Grey's way. To the shock of Sir Xavier and the two Protectors, Grey didn't even blink after being enveloped by Sir Xavier's aura. It was as if he didn't feel anything. He even went on to take a sip of his tea, the same nonchalant expression on his face. Grey closed his eyes to savor the taste of the tea, he couldn't deny it, this was good tea, and he'd rather sit there and drink it than speak with Sir Xavier. The tea had the attribute of soothing one's mind. Grey is someone that has gone through a lot of life experiences, so naturally there were a few things that although he didn't want to think about them, they were still in his heart. These were things that didn't bring him any form of happiness, so he naturally didn't want to think about them. Unfortunately, he couldn't forget about them as they still weighed him down. These were feelings that had been weighing him down for years now, yet all of a sudden, he was able to disregard these feelings weighing his heart down. Without those feelings, he noticed that his pores got wider and the essence in this place poured into his body. This was the reason he had been so focused on the tea. Its value to him was very high. And since he hadn't gone to the McCall Family yet, he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity that presented itself to him.

"Listen here brat, I'll say this once. Leave Rag…" Sir Xavier was in the middle of speaking when he noticed that Grey got him. He couldn't help but stop speaking as he looked at him, secretly preparing his essence in case a fight breaks out. To his surprise, Grey walked to the table that was placed by the side of the Hall, close to Sir Xavier, and then he grabbed the jug the tea was stored in and directly stored it in his storage ring. His actions shocked Sir Xavier. "What did you do?!" Sir Xavier was stunned. Right in front of him, a jug suddenly disappeared after Grey touched it, of course he was shocked speechless! Grey looked at Sir Xavier with a confused expression, not understanding how he didn't even understand the concept of spatial rings. His eyes trailed to Sir Xavier's hands, and his eyes widened. A thoughtful expression appeared on Grey's face as he looked at Sir Xavier. 'Wait… why doesn't he have a space ring?' Grey didn't understand how the sudden disappearance of the jug would rattle Sir Xavier this much. Even the two Protectors by his side were showing bewildered expressions. It was clear to see that they too were stumped by what Grey just did. As Grey saw their expression, he suddenly recalled something Sir Astarot said to him. At the time he wanted to enter this place, Sir Astarot told him this place was different, but he didn't understand why he said that. And after entering this world, he found out that he couldn't fly normally like back in the Aurora Continent. With this experience, he felt like this was the reason Sir Astarot told him this place was different. But thinking about it now, he realized that not being able to fly here isn't the only odd thing. There was something also very wrong with this place, the space here was odd. Since entering this place, Grey noticed that his use of the space element was limited. Distances he usually travels were impossible to cover in this place. Crash landing immediately after entering this place proved this. Sir Xavier didn't have a space ring on him. Not just Sir Xavier, but even the Blue and Black Protectors didn't have one on them. Since entering this place, this was the first real encounter he was having with others, and after a brief conversation, he had noticed that they didn't seem to be aware of the space element. He couldn't help but think about the Azure Continent he came from. He was only able to know about the existence of the space element from Void, and at the time, he felt fascinated by it. If this place was like the Azure Continent, he felt even more confident in being able to escape from a Peak Sovereign here. Here's the chap guys! Thanks for reading!
