Chapter 187 - 186: the federation shock, a new power is born
Drezan appeared in a solar system several light-years away from the Federation.
Despite the distance, the confrontation was visible even to planetary-level beings. As a result, many powerful figures from the Federation and other organizations were watching closely.
"Who are you?" Drezan asked first, addressing the man in traditional ancient attire.
"Sword Demon," the man replied calmly.
Beneath him hovered a colossal dragon, dozens of meters tall, floating silently in the vacuum of space. Its folded wings gleamed with golden scales, and its aura was anything but weak.
It was at the galactic level.
"Why are you in Federation territory, and what's your purpose in calling me out?" Drezan asked, expression calm and unreadable.
"You injured one of my own. I've come to repay the debt," Sword Demon responded calmly.
Drezan laughed.
"Ah, that's not balanced. Your 'own' injured three geniuses. That's three to one."
"A universal-level being against three galactic-level ones," Sword Demon commented flatly.
"Three potential universal-level beings," Drezan corrected.
Sword Demon chuckled.
"Potential… is still just potential."
He stood from the dragon's head and descended to face Drezan directly.
"No one dares harm a member of the Dreadborne," he said coldly. His aura exploded outward.
Early universal-level… middle… high… peak… and then beyond.
Drezan's eyes narrowed in shock.
"W-What realm is this?"
He had encountered multi-universal-level beings before—yes, their aura was more overwhelming, but this... this was close. Just beyond peak universal-level. Was this… quasi-multi-universal level?
The onlookers were stunned. Yet amidst the tension, they gained valuable information:
The name Dreadborne—a new organization. And conflict had begun between them and the Federation.
To defy the Federation was insanity.
Or... proof of unimaginable strength.

Back in dreadborne's galaxy...
Void gazed toward the Federation and grinned.
"Rank 4? Hahaha... if you were Rank 4, I might cower.
But you're just a Rank 3—middle level. And that old man is a more hidden high Rank 3," Void said with a slow, amused grin.
His generals were curious about his amusement, but none dared ask.
"Alright, let's enjoy the show. Let's see Sword Demon's performance," Void said casually.
In front of them floated a massive mirror, projecting the live confrontation happening near the Federation.
************
Back at the solar system near the Federation...
BOOM.
A massive tear split the fabric of space as Sword Demon and Drezan vanished—only to reappear in the third layer of space, their auras fully unleashed.
BOOM.
A single punch tore through space and time itself, slamming into Drezan.
"He went all out—!"
Drezan's eyes widened in horror. He activated every defensive treasure at his disposal, yet the punch shattered through them all.
He crossed his arms defensively.
CRACK.
A sickening sound echoed as his bones broke. He screamed in pain—both arms shattered. Even worse, a terrifying sword intent law began rampaging through his body.
BOOM.
Drezan was sent flying as the spectators gasped.
This was General Drezan, one of the Federation's most respected universal-level powerhouses. And yet... he was being brutalized.
BOOM.
Another punch slammed into him. Blood flew from his mouth.
Sword Demon didn't stop.
A strike to the head left Drezan dizzy.
His vision blurred red as blood flowed down his face.
BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
Each blow echoed through the layers of space-time.
Drezan was left bloodied, bruised, with broken limbs and fading breath.
One final finger strike... and Drezan would've died.
But Sword Demon stopped.
He could sense multiple terrifying auras—some his equal, some even Rank 3. They were watching. If he released killing intent, they would act. He would be killed. So he held back.
The message was clear to all.
It was over.
He cast one final glance at Drezan before returning to the first layer of space.
Sword Demon shook his arms, flinging off blood. In an instant, his clothes were neat once more as he resumed his place atop the dragon's head.
"In three days, the Dreadborne Organization will begin recruitment.
Coordinates: 1.2345.585, Andorla Galaxy.
If you pass, you'll be taken to our main galaxy.
Universe: UK17, coordinates: 234.567633.7-36373-3.
I look forward to seeing you all, humans."
With that, Sword Demon and the dragon vanished instantly.
Silence followed.
Then—CRACK.
Drezan's mangled body broke through into the first layer of space.
The sight was horrific. No one could reconcile the heroic image of Drezan with the broken, barely-living figure before them.
Multiple figures appeared and carried his body away.
Across the thousands of universes, a storm brewed.
One of the universe's strongest universal-level beings had been nearly killed by a member of an unknown organization.
**********
At the Federation's Military Base...
"So your leader is the Abyssal Throne?" a man wearing a lion-faced mask asked.
"Call it what you want. Just don't get in our way," a feminine voice replied before vanishing.
The man crushed the metal table beside him with one hand.
It turned to dust—despite being forged from one of the strongest materials known, capable of enduring full-force attacks from galaxy-level beings.
This man was the Marshal of the Federation's military.
And yet, he couldn't move—not against her.
She was a multi-universal-level being.
If he had attacked Sword Demon, she would have acted, and the base might be destroyed by them both after all he as also a multi universe being.
Those damn old foxes hadn't moved.
"Is their leader really that strong?" the Marshal thought grimly.
Another reason he couldn't act: this was the military's headquarters. One wrong move, one stray attack, and everything could be annihilated. He couldn't take the risk.
Besides, their auras were close. But after watching Sword Demon fight… maybe she, too, was hiding her real strength.
If that wasn't her full power...
Then the question remained—where did the Dreadborne come from?
Just a glimpse of their power had shaken him.
What would their full strength look like?
Knock. Knock.
"Marshal! Bad news! D-Drezan is seriously injured—he's been rushed to the medical center!" a general shouted.
"I know… Let's go visit him," the Marshal replied, eyes dark.
"Yes, Marshal!"

Back in Void's Galaxy...
Linkir appeared beside Void, who grinned.
"Well done," Void said.
"It's my pleasure," Linkir replied as she took a seat.
"All that's left is to wait for Sword Demon's return, then plan the recruitment," Void said as his generals smiled.
Meanwhile, back in the Federation…
A storm had erupted.
And across the universes, disbelief reigned.
