Chapter 204 – Training continues.
I talked with Haruhime for several minutes, but the conversation flowed poorly. Since I didn't want to scare her, I avoided doing anything unnecessary. When our conversation finally ended, I got up from the bed.
"You're really not going to do anything?" Haruhime asked, curious.
"What? Did you want me to?"
"That's not it. It's just… you're the first man I've met in a long time who isn't here just to…"
"I see. Well, you are a beautiful woman, after all."
"..."
"But don't worry, you'll be far away from here soon."
As soon as I said that, Aisha approached. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"
"..."
But I didn't answer her.
"See you later."
"See you…"
I felt Haruhime's gaze on my back as I left the room. Once again, Aisha asked about what I had said inside. "I was just joking, I'm not taking her out of here." Of course, that was a lie.
Soon, I'll take her to live with me. I won't leave her in this place.
I went down a few stairs and arrived at Ishtar's chamber. As soon as I entered, Ishtar approached with anticipation.
"Did you talk to her? What's my reward?"
I let out a long sigh. "I'll give you your reward another time. I need to go home now."
Hestia wasn't feeling well, and I needed to be with her.
And so, I returned home, where Hestia ran to me and hugged me tightly.
####
A few days had passed since Hestia found out she was pregnant. During that time, I finished the fifth volume of Re:Zero and quickly completed the third volume of Overlord. After delivering all the manuscripts to Elma, I made it clear that I would be taking a break for a while.
I'm a bit tired of writing. I think I'll just have fun for a few days.
And there's no better way to do that than inside the dungeon. Especially if I have someone with me. Naturally, the person I invited to go with me was Ais. However, to my disappointment, she declined my invitation.
Apparently, she had something to do with the Loki Familia. Getting rejected was painful.
Fortunately, I had other women who could accompany me.
The one I chose was Mikoto.
Since she had mentioned before that she wanted to continue training, I was sure she would accept.
And as expected, she did.
I went to Mikoto's Familia house to invite her, and she accepted without any issues. I wanted to meet God Takemikazuchi, but I didn't find him. 'Speaking of which, it's been a while since I last saw Hermes too.'
The only time I saw him, he was talking to Hestia. I never actually spoke to him.
'He's an interesting character. It would be good to get in touch with him.'

After entering the dungeon, I took out the Black Dragon Sword from my inventory, and Mikoto saw it for the first time. I also had the chance to take a better look at the sword. 'It's really beautiful.'
The entire sword was black, giving it a very striking appearance.
"What sword is that? I've never seen it before. Did you buy it?"
"Yes, I bought it." I lied, as I didn't know how to explain it to her.
"It's really beautiful. Can I touch it?" Mikoto asked, and I let her hold the sword. Or at least, she tried. The moment Mikoto reached for the hilt, the sword immediately flew away.
"WHAT!?" Mikoto cried out, startled.
Then, the sword flew back to me, and I caught it.
I looked at it, incredulous.
"What was that?" Mikoto asked, still shocked.
"I think the sword just likes me… Hahaha." I brushed my hair out of my face and smiled awkwardly.
Mikoto's face turned slightly red. "What do you mean? Does the sword have a mind of its own now?"
"I don't fully understand it either, but I think so. It's done this before. Unfortunately, it can't talk."
I was afraid it might suddenly start speaking, but thankfully, that didn't happen.
"I'd be scared if it suddenly started talking. I'd run away." Mikoto said.
"I thought the same thing."
We both laughed, then set off to find a good spot to train.
We reached a large room, similar to the one we had used for training before.
Since the room was on the second floor, adventurers could appear. But since I had no plans to sleep with her in the dungeon again, there was nothing to worry about.
"What do you want me to do? Should I go all out, or should I hold back?"
We stood facing each other. Mikoto was focused and didn't respond to my question. I considered going all out but decided to hold back a little. Gripping the Black Dragon Sword, I appeared in front of Mikoto in an instant.
This time, she remained calm and didn't panic.
She followed my sword's movement and swung hers, blocking my attack.
CLANG!
The sound of our swords clashing echoed in my ears.
Mikoto smiled, satisfied, then decided to go on the offensive.
I started stepping back, dodging her blade.
"What's wrong? Not going to attack? Just going to keep dodging?" she asked, excited.
I smiled at her and then decided to make my move.
I let my sword drop to the ground and grabbed her hand—the one holding her sword. When I took hold of her hand, Mikoto tried to break free, but she couldn't. I held her firmly and pulled her into an embrace.
"What are you doing? Weren't we supposed to be training?" Mikoto asked, her face flushed.
"I wanted to train, but you're just so beautiful."
"Urgh…" Mikoto's expression twisted. She looked extremely uncomfortable. "Luan, let me go…" she said weakly.
"What? I can't hear you."
"Let me go, please… I'm going to…"
"You're going to what?"
"I… BLEEEH!!"
I didn't even have time to react. Mikoto threw up all over my shirt.
I froze.
'What the hell?'
What do you think?
