Volume 13 Chapter 50:A Three-Course Meal

News about the cook-off between the two chefs spread throughout the entire city! Surprise was expected since this news suddenly came out of nowhere. Plus, the names were eye-catching.

Everyone was curious as to what would occur! 

“We have to see it!” 

“This is going to be amazing!”

Both stores were highly regarded in the city; you have Brian, who was well-known for his restaurant. Then there was Keith, who opened his cart a few months ago, which had been popular. 

The battle between the old and mighty vs the supernova. 

That was something that had gotten everyone so excited. 

However, for the supernova, he was lost in thought. Hmm, it's going to be a three-course meal. The concept was simple enough. 

Appetizer - Main dish - Dessert. 

That was what he needed to cook. While he was lost in thought, 

“…” Keith glanced down to see Eri holding onto Mir and Lei while Fira was on her head. They had been getting quite close to one another. He laughed, “Sorry about that; how about I read you guys a book?” “Yay!” “Po,Po!” “Mmhmm.” 

It had more than enough space to fit all of them.

“So what are they saying?” Carolyn and the others were in the living room.

Alfia explained, “Many people said Keith’s going to lose this one.” 

“Eh?” 

“That’s because they said it’s a three-course meal. It would place Keith at a disadvantage." There was a difference between what Keith made and what the challenge was. Keith's food was more open for everyone, while the challenge was for the nobility. 

"..."

"Relax, Keith got this! That man will never lose!" Jack laughed as he waved this off. The others shared the same sentiments; they had all been eating his food. There was nothing that could compare to it! 

Angelica and Sakura quickly rushed onto the island, “I heard about it! Keith, you’re going to win this!” When they heard about this competition, they were amazed and taken aback! 

Keith nodded, “Mmhmm, I know.” Cooking. There was something he had utter confidence in. 

Sakura muttered, “By the way, who’s child is this?” That was when they noticed Eri. 

Angelica smiled, “How adorable! Can I pat her head?” 

“Papa.” Eri didn’t hesitate to hug Keith even tighter when she noticed two people they didn’t know. Keith smiled as he patted, “They’re friendly. They’re my seniors.”  

“…” That still didn’t help her as she hid inside his shoulders more. That was when Sakura sighed, “You’ve scared her.” 

Angelica scratched her head, “I’m sorry. But she was so adorable.” 

“I know; be more careful.”

“But to think there would be people who would challenge you to a cook-off.” That was something they didn’t seem coming. It was a mile away. 

Keith shrugged, “Either way, I'm going to have to deal with it.” He was going to beat Bria. After what they did to his food, it was a pride as a chef. 

Sakura sighed, “Then we’re going to witness something interesting." If Keith was this confident, he must have something up his sleeve. 

“Mmhmm.” Keith smiled. He was not going to be defeated by them. Keith then smiled, "By the way, want to stay for dinner?"

"Of course." "...Thank you." 

"No problem." Keith smiled as he got up. It was time for him to cook. While they ate, 

“So we’re going to taste-test all the creations you’ll make, Keith?” Cadmus questioned the boy. That was usually the case.

“Nope, you’re not going to be tasting it.” “Say what?!” The dragon and the others were taken aback by his words. That only caused Herrick and them to pout! “No fair! Don’t you need people to help critique your food?”

"I'm fine. There's no need for you guys to do so."

"What?"

"But our palette is incredible!"

"We have been eating your food!" 

“Yeah, no. I’m going to do this my way. So, no taste testing!” 

“Wahhh!” 

“There, there.” As the dragon cried, Long Yueying and Yukiko hugged him. That only caused the others to shake their heads. 

When everyone was in bed, that was when Keith got up. He turned to Eri and the little ones. They were sleeping soundly and nicely. Keith gently stroked their heads as he was prepared. 

Let's get to work! 

Keith headed to the kitchen, and that was when he took out all of the ingredients he had used before. A slew of ingredients were before him; that was how much he traveled and acquired throughout these months. 

Hmm, should I use a saupple for the appetizer? No, there's too much meat. 

For the main course, he was thinking about using a dragator as the focal point. Hmm, I could incorporate asparagus and simple mashed potatoes on the side. It was simple yet had a strong impact as well. 

But the appetizer should be lighter if he was going to do that. His eyes were locked onto the ingredients, not blinking even once. However, he soon grabbed something and got to work.
