Volume 13 Chapter 35: Imagine Keith Without The  Cooking

"That brat! I can't believe he headed off without telling us anything!" Carolyn growled like a dog, clearly not liking his actions. The others shared the same thoughts as they stared at the sky.

Keith leaving was something that they didn’t account for. The man had already left before they had the chance to say anything. He left a letter on the kitchen counter to inform them he would be gone for a few days.

"Keith's a meanie!" Fira pouted as she floated onto Sarah's shoulders. Lei and Mir were the same. They couldn't help but jump up and down in frustration.

Alfia sighed, “Professor Aidiun, why couldn’t you do something to stop him?” He definitely said something to the adults before he left.

Aidiun shrugged, “He gave me a good argument I couldn’t refuse.”

“…Did he buy you off?” That was something they all wondered. Keith would have bought everyone off if he could.

Aidiun scoffed, “Do you think I’m Cadmus?” Yes, Keith handed him some goodies, and he would turn the other way for the child. However, he wasn't that greedy. It was asking for trouble.

“Hey! Why is my name coming out of your mouth?” The dragon was being spooned by both Long Yueying and Yukiko on the hammock. The rest had to shake their heads and ignore these love birds.

“Because you always get bought off by Keith all the time!” Aidiun scoffed. The one who always lost was this dragon! It didn't take a second; he immediately agreed once food was brought out.

“Hmpf! That’s because he’s good at reading me.”

"..." You mean your stomach.

“Guys, I’m going to head out now!” While they talked, Nephele was prepared to head off. Even with Keith gone, she would run the cart.

Alfia got up, “Dorm Mother Nephele, I’m coming with you.”

“Me too.” Scarlet was the same.

"Let's go." Carolyn and Sarah followed.

“Let’s go!” Nephele cheered as they quickly headed out. As the group left, Diana and Udine watched with their eyes blinking.

“Is that the same woman we talk about?” The contrast was just glaring. Where was the crying and whining woman?

Sohma rubbed his chin, “Did she find his calling?” Once you find what you want to do, everything changes.

"I'm still afraid she will cause trouble," Diana grumbled. That was something that couldn't be overlooked. She was the great spirit of wind. Only a few individuals could handle her.

Aidiun took a deep breath, “As long as the two are with her, there’s no need to worry so much.” With Alfia behind here, not many people would cause any trouble.

Well, there was another issue.

“She’s back!” “The beauty is back again!”

The customers watched the cart being rolled over. It was amazing and exciting to see it. Nephele grinned as she tied her hair into a ponytail, “Please line up and take your orders from them! I will get to work!” The great spirit of wind got to cooking. As she did, the customers couldn't help but tear up!

“Thank goodness we have food here!”

“It’s so delicious as well!” The customers enjoyed the crepes. It was consistency. They understood she wasn't going to disappear like Keith! His random disappearance caused them so many headaches. However, Nephele was going to be here every day!

Shakti sighed in relief, “As long as she is here, we’re good!” While everyone was relieved of this situation,

"Where did he find such beauty like that?”

She didn’t want to admit it: no woman wanted to acknowledge that someone else was more beautiful than them. However, it was difficult to argue.

That was because of how beautiful Nephele was. There was already a group of men ogling her.

The number of men who came here became even more so with her. Carolyn and the others could only do damage control. Titus and the other adventurers did the same. They didn't want all of these random admirers to cause trouble for the cart.

While they did, “By the way, Vice guildmaster, why do you look like that?” They had noticed how the dark expression on his face. Kaiser munched on the crepe like an animal; the man would never eat like a beast.

“That damn idiot guildmaster! He's making my life miserable!”

“Eh?” Dalen turned his head, “He’s back from his trip?” Titus and the others were also intrigued by his words.

Carolyn and the others thought, “Wait a minute, the guildmaster is back?” “We have a guild master?”

"Mmhmm." Kaiser groaned as he held his head, "You guys haven't seen him because he went on an exploration for months." Just the thought caused him to groan.

Titus and the others couldn’t help but sigh for him, “There, there, Kaiser.”

“What kind of person is he?” From the way they talked, it seemed that this person was lively and engaging.

“Hmm,” Kaiser thought, “The best way to describe him would be Keith without the cooking but maximize the liveliness.”
