Volume 1 Chapter 20: The King and Queen Entered 

The blindfold was taken off, and Keith saw a sparkling venue. It was so grand. Keith blinked a few times as he was mesmerized by the sight. He looked up to Sophia, who had a smile, 

"Happy birthday, Dear." 

Keith had a dumbfounded expression. That was because he completely forgot about his birthday! It has been a year since he was born. 

"Thwank you, Mowther!" Keith said with the happiest smile he could muster. Sophia nodded as she walked down while holding Keith. And the nobles focused on the two.

"So this is the rumored fourth son."

"He looks like a young version of the Marquis."

"No. I think the child looks more like the Marchioness instead."

The nobles started to murmur about him. Keith was placed into a chair and became the center of attention. He saw William and his brothers smiling at him. William tapped on the wine glass, 

"My son would like to speak a few words." With that, the nobles all focused on him. 

Father?! That was not what I had in mind! Keith wanted to cry. He was only a child! 

But he had no choice as he said, "Thwank you for cowming to my birtwhday! Please habve fun!" 

Keith maintained a smile as he said this. Although inside, 

I fumbled! He was embarrassed. Almost all his words were slurred! He wanted to say it perfectly! 

The nobles stared at him, blinking a few times. This was a surprise. 

"How eloquent!" 

"He sounded so cute at the end."

"He's a genius."

They all wondered how a kid could speak so well. He was only one year old! William and the rest of their family members clapped their hands together,

"So adorable!" Sophia kissed his cheeks while William patted his head. 

When they saw the sudden display of affection, they were surprised. They have never seen Sophia and William show intimate actions like this.

"Sir William is so handsome."

"As expected of the madam. Such a beauty."

"Look at the children. They're just like their parents." 

Smiles cracked up as they stared at the happy family. While everyone focused on them,

"It seems I'm late to the party." A voice resounded at the front door. Everyone turned their heads to see a tall and handsome man. He had silver hair, and his eyes shined like rubies. He entered with a beauty and a child in his arms. 

The nobles quickly bowed down. William and Sophia bowed their heads slightly.  

"We greet your majesty!" 

Majesty? Keith blinked a few times when he heard that. The king! The king actually came to his birthday party!

"At ease." The king gestured, making them all stand up again. He walked towards William, "William, it's been a while since I've seen you!"

"Indeed, it has, Julius." William gave a light chuckle. Julius turned to Keith, 

"So this is the legendary fourth son I heard so much about."

Legendary? How did I become legendary? He went up a level before he knew it. Keith bowed his head slightly. 

"Greetings, yowe majesty." Keith followed what William did and greeted Julius. 

".." That caused Julius and his wife to blink a couple of times. He turned to William, 

"You were right. He does have a charm."

"Mmhmm." William had a smug expression as he said this.  

Julius turned back to Keith, "Greetings, Fourth Son. Happy birthday to you."

"Thwank you very much." Keith gave a big smile. That caused Julius to smile, "It's my pleasure."

"The king is so handsome!" Some of the noble ladies gasped at the sight of Julius's bright countenance. 

William then questioned, "Is that your daughter?"

"Mmhmm. This is my daughter, Carolyn." In his arms was a cute child. She had her hair tied in pigtails. She had the same silver hair as Julius. That silver hair was a clear giveaway. Her beautiful amethyst eyes were the same as her mother's. 

Carolyn glanced at William and the rest. But she turned away instantly. Keith could tell that she was scared. Julius smiled wryly, "My daughter is the same age as you. Please take care of her."

Carolyn was placed next to Keith. All the adults stared at the two cute children. Keith waved his hand, "Hewo!" It was a friendly greeting. Yet, Carolyn shifted away from him, a little frightened. 

Keith got an idea, "Lwok at this." His hand started to glow blue as he wrote in the air. He created a smiley face. And that caused Carolyn to look at it in awe. 

But it was nothing compared to the adults. 

"Your child can use mana?!" Julius turned to William in shock. William had a proud expression, 

"Of course, he can. He's my son."

"..." Julius wanted to fight. But he didn't because his daughter seemed to have made a friend.

"Moe?" Keith asked. Carolyn understood as she nodded her head. Keith started to draw a bird and other things into the air. 

"Keith, you have to be more careful," Sophia warned with a worried look. From time to time, with her supervision, Keith could use magic. But right now, if he used too much, he might faint.

"Owk." Keith nodded. However, he noticed Carolyn's expression was becoming gloomy.
