The Backbender (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

The serene silence in the forest was broken as the forest was bulldozed through by a massive tank-like vehicle.

The ground trembled, and the trees snapped in half like branches. Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai looked at the track of smoke in the sky, determining the location of Kanuk.

"They must be here. Move forward!"Azula said with a sadistic and cunning look on her face. Ty Lee and Mai looked at Azula with concern.

"Are you sure we can take that guy? I think he a tiny bit strong." Ty Lee said with a smile as sweat slid down her forehead. Mai was silent, but her eyes said everything that was needed.

The water bender in the Avatar's team literally killed every Fire Nation soldier in Omashu without breaking a sweat. They could barely react at the time.

Going after him seemed... Crazy.

Ty Lee and Mai looked at each other. A knowing look on their faces. They had to go with Azula. Or they will face punishment.

"Ty Lee. Do you want to go back to that dump called the circus?" Azula said while flicking her nail, a smirk on her red lips as she turned to Ty Lee, awaiting her answer.

"W-wha? No, of course not! I will go with you, hehe..." Azula smirked with sadistic delight as she watched Ty Lee squirm under her golden pupils. Mai watched without interest.

Ty Lee lets out a breath of relief as she watches Azula's attention be taken from her. Her back was wet with sweet sweat as she turned away.

'That was close... Way to go, Ty Lee. Almost getting yourself punished.' Ty Lee thought to herself as she remembered the punishment games the three of them played as children.

Azula used to punish them during childhood if they did not do something Azula liked or wanted. It was always a strange punishment, like making them lick her shoes.

Thinking of it made Ty Lee shudder from nervousness.

"Can we get going?" Mai asked with a monotone voice as she jumped out of the tank. Azula turns around with a sadistic smirk. Azula's face lit up as Blue Fire danced between her slender fingers.

"We shall~"

[Team Avatar.]

The team was seated around a warm and cosy fireplace that Kanuk created. They sat in a circle with sweets and food. Kanuk had placed enough food to last them centuries in his inventory.

"Ahhh! This is amazing. Where did you get this stuff?" Toph said with a wide smile as she tasted the candy floss on the stick. She looked at Kanuk and asked with curiosity.

"Oh, I made it. It tastes good, right?" Kanuk said as he took a bite of his candy float. He groaned in satisfaction as the taste entered his senses. Kanuk realised he could invent the sweets from his world.

"Wow! You made this, I did not know you can cock." Fei said as she stuffed her face with the candy. Yue was listening with a smile as she took small bites from the candy.

"Well, I try. Though I hope to learn to cook even better in the future, maybe I can cook for you girls." Kanuk meant what he said. He realised the power was getting to his head since he maxed his Water Bending out.

He needed to slow the hell down unless he wanted to go down the path of a cliche villain overcome with his power. To stop himself from going down that route, he decided to pick up some hobbies/

Like cooking and maybe inventing some sports. Kanuk played a round of basketball. Surprisingly, the girls were exceptional, especially Fei. Her flexible and agile body helped her.

Though Toph... Not so much.

"Did you think something bad about me?" Toph suddenly looked at Kanuk and asked. With an awkward smile, Kanuk refused Toph's answer.

""Don't mind that, hehehe..." Just then, Kanuk suddenly turned serious. His face became cold and neutral as he stood up from his seat. The girls watched in confusion before they understood.

The group could hear something snapping and falling heavily onto the ground from afar. They waited a few minutes before the sound was right in front of them by a hundred meters.

Boom!

The forest suddenly trembled, and they watched as a black machine broke through the forest into their small clearing. The black machine rolled towards them with no intention of stopping.

"Sigh... This girl never backs down, huh? I guess I will have to give her a wake-up call." Kanuk smirked as he watched the machine roll towards him, leaving a trail of destruction.

"Kanuk, move!" Katara screams as she watches him stand there. Toph snorts as she is about to stomp on the ground. She was about to create a spike under the machine.

"Toph!... I can handle this." Toph paused, and she sensed the movement of the machine only about a few meters from Kanuk. Katara, Fei and Yue watched as Kanuk turned to the machine.

The machine was inching closer by the inch. Kanuk smirked as he held his palm out in front of the machine. Everyone watched with tension as his hand touched the machine.

Boom!

A cloud of dust exploded, and Fei created a gust that blew the dust away, revealing Kanuk and the machine.

Kanuk stood in the same place without moving an inch. The machine's entire front was in a massive dent. Kanuk's palm stopped it. It was making strange creaking noises.

Rumble*

The machine broke down as it started driving in the same place. The machine released black smoke as firey caught on. The machine trembled before exploding in a fiery fireworks show.

Boom!

The tree tops leaned back from the shockwave as the machine exploded. The team watched as Kanuk stood in the show of fire, not a single burn on him.

"Almighty... Push!" The fire and exploding rubble shoot like bullets, revealing Azula, Mai and Ty Lee trapped in Water. They were protected from the explosion.

Azula, Ty Lee and Mai opened their eyes in shock. The three saw everything with a clear 4K vision quality and slow motion. They saw how Water wrapped them around and protected them.

"HHHHMMMMMM!!" Azula inside the Water screamed at the top of her lungs, her eyes wide and shocked as she looked at Kanuk. Knuk smirked as he released them.

Splash!

"UghhhH!!" The three took deep breaths as they lay on their back. Azula had her eyes open wide with emotions that were never on the surface. She was like an open book.

Ty Lee and Mai sat up while coughing. They looked towards Azula and noticed with shock that she was different. Azula was feeling something they often felt.

It is called... Fear.

She was fearful of Kanuk's abilities.

"Azula?..."
